Sorry, don't know if that helps! I always say the wrong thing!

Dont forget, your GP is still only guessing that your baby isn't going head-down because of your pelvis problems. Its not scientific.

babies turn right up to the last minute too. acupuncture can help. I think the second opinion is a good idea.

Daisybump · 04/05/2007 20:18

Shit DKMA...I just sprayed half chewed up galaxy all over the computer screen....doesn't give you a lot of time to mentally prepare yourself does it?? But as others have said, you should see your consultant and get this discussed further.

Although your BP is high for you, that's not that high...mine has been there or there abouts throughout (but I am a lardy unfit one) and my mw is fine with it. She said she would only start to worry if it was 130-140/90, so don't panic too much.

Incidently did they do your BP befroe or after they discussed a section in three weeks...might have made the results a bit iffy

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 04/05/2007 20:19

That does help! You're right - I need to keep the end in mind! As long as my little fella is okay I am happy. How it happens is not the MOST important thing.
Thanks

Daisybump · 04/05/2007 20:22

And if you do have an elective...your fanjo will be as pristene as it ever was.....and the fallout afterwards isn't nearly as industrial. The epidural/spinal doesn't hurt, but I know you have a phobia of needles so that's probably not very helpful.

Try to keep upbeat chuck

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 04/05/2007 20:24

That sounds like a waste of good galaxy Daisy - hope you licked it off

BP was done before cs discussed - I was firstly having a bit of a check over cos I can't stop coughing and feel like I have no lungs!

Sound like a right fucking victim tonight don't I!!

foxybrown · 04/05/2007 20:24

you'll see your baby born with an elective, you will have the support of your dp as it happens
hypnotherapy could help your phobia

we WILL make you feel more positive about this! xx

foxybrown · 04/05/2007 20:25

no, you sound like someone who's had a BIG scare and disappointment.

After having DC3 I was told I wouldn't be able to have a homebirth, and I was gutted - and I wasn't even pg!

hollyandalice · 04/05/2007 20:29

You're not a victim, just upset and stressed! Just think in a few weeks you will be holding your new little man in your arms and thinking how wonderful he is and how much you love him!

Daisybump · 04/05/2007 20:31

LOL at livking the computer screen . At least you're keeping your sense of humour....attagirl

but anyway, don't be soft, that's a lot of stuff to take in in one afternoon and we're here to share this stuff. Was anyone with you? and is your DH around now?

Wish there was something we could do. Big big (((((((((hugs))))))))))

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 04/05/2007 20:35

Yep DH has just made me some dinner.
Grubs up - so I'll be back later
You lot are great!!

notsolilKel · 04/05/2007 20:38

oooh I am as excited as a heavily pg woman can get. just sent DH off to get some mint ice cream. mmmmm. mmmmm. how long does it take to get to Sainsbury's, find it, buy it, and get home??

only possible downside here is the return favour I may be asked to give nudge nudge

DKMA keep chin up. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best, and we'll all hope your LO arrives safe & sound!

hollyandalice · 04/05/2007 20:39

I just had some minty ice cream lilkel! It's my fave! Great for heart burn too! It's on special offer at sainsburys atm if you buy two tubs you save money! Phone him up and get him to buy two!!

OP posts:
foxybrown · 04/05/2007 20:40

Soften the blow so to speak

Daisybump · 04/05/2007 20:41

If you get two lots of minty ice-cream....does it follow that he gets two lots of nudge nudge????

hollyandalice · 04/05/2007 20:41

hollyandalice · 04/05/2007 20:43

hollyandalice · 04/05/2007 20:47

It's on his sat nav, if he's got it switched on I can log into a website and watch him wherever he goes! Hehe!!

OP posts:
Daisybump · 04/05/2007 20:53

Right DH is home, and I've caught him up on the weeks goings on, better go and talk about something other than MN or he'll just start rolling his eyes and will only smoke more cigars to wind me up.

Hopefully out and about and busy over the weekend....weather permitting, if not cleaning!! so have a good one.

Bumper....yes I'm still up for meeting up. e-mail me at "mn name" at yahoo dot co dot uk and we can sort it out. Friday would suit me better as DS goes to his grandparents so no need to rush back for the school pick-up. Anyone else interested e-mail me as well.........
