That's the very reason I'm looking for a lovely leather satchel type thing that can double as a changing bag. I did see some gorgeous leather changing bags by Oi Oi or someone, but they were £100....

Daisybump · 04/05/2007 11:20

Don't even go there mamazon.....

sputnik · 04/05/2007 11:20

Foxy, shall we go and give that poor lass on the "feeling low" thread's MIL a reet good talking to? Or we could go and shout ARSE at her. I'm well up for it, what a cow.

mytwocents · 04/05/2007 11:21

Soft toys - I used to sleep next to ten of my teddies when i was about 6, right squashed up so they all had room, then i'd wake up in the middle of the bed, teddies everywhere, carnage. Did'nt last long ....
my mum put a hammock up in my room to keep them all out the way...

hollyandalice · 04/05/2007 11:22

My mum has a giant Radley bag my dad bought her for her birthday. I want to steal it for a changing bag, but she won't let me ! I love Radley bags (can you tell)!!

Oh that programme made me so sad mtc! My dp was pretending not to watch it and pretending not to see me crying otherwise I think he would have been set off too! I am sat here crying now just thinking about it!

Am still smarting from comment in village store this morning "Would you like to pay for your Sunday paper now? i.e. would you like to pick up & pay for last Sunday's paper now, you slattern..." V poor, given that I only live 80yds from said store....

Must...tear....self.....away.....

Need....to.....hoover....sofas......

Oh sod it - 11.20 - obviously time for a cup of tea & choccie biccie. THEN I'll start.

mytwocents · 04/05/2007 11:26

It was really sad H esp the couple in london who had so many things go wrong . But 4 out of 5 women ARE happy with the care they received so let us focus on that!
Anyway, you'll be ok in your pool, in your house!

sputnik · 04/05/2007 11:27

sorry should've linked

sputnik · 04/05/2007 11:29

Westcoaster, it's CULO

Not the same really and not offensive enough in Italian, you could try COGLIONI

My sis swears in Italian while driving!

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 04/05/2007 11:31

Hiya!

Top cheer up tip of the day!
Just put some music on VERY LOUD (if you can).
I've just been dancing around the living room like a fat fairy scaring the shit out of myself whenever I catch a reflection (very funny)
Then started to sing /shout along to 'Go Your Own Way' by Fleetwood Mac like I was performing on Top of The Pops or something! - Had to finish the song of sitting down as started to feel faint!! Very funny and feelin MUCH better for it!!!!
Now typing whilst bouncing on my birthing ball in time to rest of the album!
Don't mean to be insensitive Sputnik maybe you could wave your arms about a bit?

hollyandalice · 04/05/2007 11:34

SOunds like a good idea dkma, but my dd would go mad if I did that! She hates me singing and goes mad and shouts NOOOO at the top of her voice! I'm not that bad, honestly, but she just hates it! The only thing I'm allowed to sing to is the cooking song from Big COok Little Cook and then only if I do the actions as well!

Sputnik, how bad am i? I have forgotten where but when DM comes for lunch today I will have to ask again! I know its not far from Rome cos thats where they usually fly to, and they are going to same place they usually go as the lady always looks after them well!

BTW I like Radley bags too Holly

LOL Daisy at the identical leopards! Emergency Charlie! Bless! DDs fav change depending on how she feels currently its Ottery and Whitey Seal! All animals have names according to type of animal/colour/noise they make!

justbeme · 04/05/2007 11:34

Morning all - What is it with this morning?? I too feel very low and washed out.

Seansgirl · 04/05/2007 11:38

OP posts:
sputnik · 04/05/2007 11:41

Mytwocents, I used to have five or six soft toys in the bed and I would rotate them so there was a different one sleeping next to me everynight . Didn't want to seem to be showing favouritism.

DD has a core cohort of 5 animals that are very important to her. Each has it's position in the bed and she gets very upset if they are slightly out of place or one falls over, or if we put them in the bed before her story as opposed to after. I think this is normal, probably?

Daisy LOL at Charlie 1, Charlie 2 and Emergency Charlie

justbeme · 04/05/2007 11:42

mmmm a nice bit of sugar might help - what do I fancy??? .........Flapjack - any 1 got any?

foxybrown · 04/05/2007 11:42

Also got a paddling pool with gazebo for kids (half price from woolies - £25 - bargain!)

And a mothercare pack with newborn nappies, breast pads, mat pads, all that stuff.
