I GOT A PRESENT!!!! HOORAY!! Postie just turned up on my doorstep and presented me with a large royal mail sack with loads of parcels in! Three were boring contracts for dp's work, one was my RLT from the lovely kind April lady and one was my wonderful secret shower gift!!

I got a really pretty t-shirt for dd, which she is oooing over, two little tiny vests, some sweeties, a lovely jewellery set and some sanctuary smellies! All in a lovely box with a lovely card! Bless you secret stock, I love my special gifts! I'm come over all emotional!! !

am really going now.

Well...the package contained Cadbury's Creme Eggs and I stupidly left it on the sofa whilst I came to post and dd has eaten one of them, so hopefully that will make her poo! I think I have worked out who my secret showeree is from the post mark! Thank you very, very much, it was such a lovely gift and I feel like a very special girl!

I'm going to scoff an egg now!!

Gah!! I've finished it now and still no poo! I have just given her a big cup of juice and loads of raisins to help things along! I think it may be beans for lunch!!

OK, change of subject then....

I need to get the baby's room sorted as it's a mess at the minute with things piled up all over. DH is going to paint it cream and pale blue. I have pale blue and cream blankets and sheets but feel as though I need to do more!! (making sense?)

I don't need a 'theme' as such but feel that maybe some accessories may be required!!

Trouble is, the ideas in my head don't appear to be available from any shop or website I have yet found!! (how very rude!!0

I like quite quirky stuff. Cath Kidston style appeals and I have a thing for hearts and stars. Is anyone on my mad wavelength? Have you seen anything that would work? Does anyone even understand my mad ramblings?

I have a blue and white theme catkin (well I will do)! It's Mamas & Papas Bebe Blue. You can't buy it any more, but I got my bits from ebay. It's lovely and has stars and squiggles on it. Wow the mamas & papas website are doing the wall plaques for £1! Uh oh, here comes a buying frenzy! I really want the Cath Kidston boats fabric curtains, they would go really well! CK does a fabric with white stars on a blue background, which is lovely! BTW catkin, nursery furnishings are my fave subject!

Fatcatkin...I was in homebase on Monday and they have these sticker things...one of the kits was on a stars theme.

I'm going for 'bang on the door' animal alphabet stickarounds...they're really cute.....and educational too!!

our 'nursery' is covered with big paintings of rainbows, suns, stars, animals and other random things done with poster paints and glitter on lining paper (£2 a roll). I'm not that artistic but babies aren't too critical luckily. Will post a pic if I get around to it ;)
