@amzq87 yes they sent the second sample to labs.

Im drinking tonnes, keeping very clean, avoiding dtd , cotton pant's, nothing tight, sensitive soaps, etc. Only think i haven't tried is cranberry juice as i hate the stuff.

Ladies - I actually ate a proper meal for my tea last night and didn't feel like I was going to throw it up at all!!! The smell of the oven didn't even make me gag!!! I really hope I'm passed the worst of it now and it wasn't just a good day.

I'm getting a bit of a bump too. But mostly I just look like I've put a load of weight on :(

Thanks everyone. I'm finding it very difficult to be logical at the moment 😱. I think I was just shocked as my SIL who is due a month before Be and is five years older had her results at 1 in 10,000. I definitely wouldn't contemplate an amnio with those results, I don't think my hospital do them anymore.

@milney25 those are low odds but I would be the same as you as I'm a worrier! In my last pregnancy my odds were 1 in 150,000 but I'm 4 years older this time so thinking the result will be different anyway. Imagine if you bought a raffle ticket and they said you had a 1 in 1000 chance of winning you'd think you had no chance, try and look at it that way

Forgot to say yesterday they charged £10 for 3 photos (but included 4). There was no option for just one photo as the person behind me asked and was then complaining loudly about it in the waiting room. We also had to pay via contactless card. Cash not accepted and the PIN number keypad apparently not working properly at the moment.

Due date has been moved forward by a day to 12th August. Neither husband or I can fully get our heads around the fact that it's finally happening. I'm finally pregnant!

@E2017 awww - it's so exciting isn't it. I genuinely couldn't believe it when I saw the scan and the little baby moving around doing backflips and waving little arms and legs. It kind of still doesn't feel real after we thought we couldn't have kids so I've got the scan photo on my desk at work to keep looking at x

@amzq87 I keep looking at the photo of the scan pic that I took on my phone. Can't help myself. Xx

You can get cystitis sachets at the chemist which you dissolve in water and drink. They taste awful, much worse than cranberry but seem to do the job.

Sorry to hear about those of you who've had bad news.
It feels like there have been quite a high number of losses, but I suppose this is an accurate reflection of the statistics, the reality of which we are shielded from a little in real life, as so few people feel able to talk about their loss.

Leaving soon, so nervous! Threw up this morning don't know if it was nerves or morning sickness 😂

did a facebook group ever get setup in the end?

It's done and as I'd hoped everything was perfect. Anxiety is a horrible thing and it has really spoilt the last few days for me. I am 10 weeks exactly today so they will rebook me for the next couple of weeks, EDD now 28th Aug but might change again at the proper 12 week one! We got a good look at the umbilical cord (that's what you can see in the picture), the yolk sack and the placenta too which was cool, baby has a strong heartbeat and good blood flow 😍

If a Facebook group hasn't been set up I'm happy to give it a go if people want me to. Not entirely sure how to set up a private page but don't mind trying. X

I prefer MN to be honest. Facebook messes around with the posting order so you miss things unless it's on your main newsfeed (and then we all post so much I miss stuff my IRL friends have put on).

Would anyone be interested in a private sub on Reddit rather than FB?

I would prefer something where I can see who's who. Suspicious you see. A lot of people hide behind mumsnet, and on occasions are not who they say they are. Hence why I've not given too much info so far 🙄🙈
