Sat at the surgery waiting for my booking in appointment and they are running late. I told work I was only nipping out, hope it's not too much longer!

@CumbrianExile my booking appointment was late too - by about half an hour. Then the appointment itself took about an hour :\

Thanks everyone! Here is the little lamb - amazing scan appointment even though my bladder was too full so I got sent to the loo lol! All measurements normal and due date bang on from our estimates :-)

EmmasMum - appointment ended up being 20 minutes late, and lasted 1 hour. She did apologise and she was lovely so its all good. And work don't seem to have noticed I was gone too long (thank god for working from home days!) so I think I got away with it.

Hopefully I will get a scan appointment in the next few days now.

I can't wait to get home. I'm full of a cold and need my bed. Unfortunately I have to parent DD until her bedtime and then its sleep for me. What are you all up to tonight?

Not up to much, going food shopping tomorrow and seeing ohs parents. So chilling tonight.

So i think my UTI is back, called docs today, no appts!! Can't get to OOH till tomorrow morning as its 2 busses and don't want to drag DS! So annoyed as it would of taken less than 5 mins to just see me!!

Tonight I will be mainly trying not to lose my shit with anyone 😂 I can't tolerate much at the moment. So I'm hoping dd will go to bed nicely and sleep until 8 so I can lie in a little. Plus hoping I can sleep without peeing every hour. I'd forgotten about the peeing and it's only been 4 yrs!

According to my LMP I should be 12 weeks tomorrow but actually only 9+3 although I have a feeling my dates will change again at my NHS scan on Tuesday.

This morning I got ready, feeling queasy as usual then as I was almost ready to leave I ran to the loo to be sick, so annoying! Had make up streaming down my face, not pretty 😂

Great seeing all the scan pictures and hearing everyone's news. My scan date is finally through for 7th feb so excitement is really building now!

My little girl is 4 next month and I'm trying to wait at least until the nhs gender scan at 20 weeks, maybe tie it all in with Easter or something.
I know she would love a baby sister but I'm thinking this one is a boy.
My older two know and have done since my bfp. At 21 & 18 they have been so supportive bless them.

How are you going to tell him?😊

Yes i am thinking same wait till 20 week gender scan, mine is 13th march, feels forever!! How about yours? Aww bless her, my son wants a sister! His thinking.. he wont have to share his toys because girls have different ones to boys!! Haha.

I don't know, i want to so something special/exciting to tell him. I'm just not too sure yet?! I think i might get him a big brother t shirt and he can read it out? I am just so excited to tell him, but the one thing he will want to know is if he is having a sister or a brother!

Aww are the older ones excited? I have a big gap between me and my 2 older siblings and i really like it.

I was thinking about getting a private gender scan but not sure as it would only be about 3 weeks sooner!!

The older two are matter of fact, there was a huge gap between dd and the so the weirdness isn't there this time, they know me so well and know I'm being hormonal a lot of the time, because I grew up with them pretty much we are kind of mates too, my son is my rock a lot of the time too.

I've not even had my booking in yet!! My midwife is rubbish!

I was thinking of a t shirt or teddy to put inside an Easter egg? Or a personalised book maybe.

I'm hoping this one is a boy only because I have two really strong characters in my girls and couldn't cope with another 😂

@BertieBotts which Doppler do you have? I read your message and really want to get one but then there’s so much negativity surrounding them (which I didn’t even know about till I googled to find a Doppler for myself). In two minds now...

Scan on Monday. Was excited now just terrified in case something has gone wrong. Think it's because I've been so stressed over the last few weeks that I'm now fearing it's taken its toll and we'll get bad news. Has anyone else been like this at all? X

Evening all. Lovely to see more scans and so sorry for those with recent losses.

I had my 12 week scan on Tuesday - everything fine although really tricky to get the NT measurement. I've been a bit flat since but I think I had been telling myself for so long not to get excited and was so nervous beforehand that its actually really hard to get out of that mindset and tell people /start being positive. Also - it is kind of scary realising that there is a real baby in there and I'm going to be a mum of 3!

And yes @E2017 I totally felt the same

Hey ladies so today I cried at work after hearing someone said I called them fat (which I whole heartedly did not! And I’ve got people to back me up on this)
Bloody hormones !
Got a call from midwives, apparently the said they haven’t got a midwife available for my booking appt on Monday at 4pm. So they have changed it to Monday at 1pm instead. Which is better for me anyway as i can leave work half day and get it over with!
Can’t wait!
