@Stephiewoo - Great news on the scan!

@SpriteGirl the maternity exemption card is exactly what you think, a credit card size card and it does come through the post. Sometimes midwives wait until they have a whole bunch and send them off together. It will be backdated though so I'd make like @Stephiewoo and tick the box if you need anything.
Being rhesus negative isn't an abnormal blood reading so they wouldn't contact you about it. You don't have the anti-d injection until 28 weeks so loads of time for them to left you know in next appointments xx

12 week scan today, I didn't realise how anxious I was until after. All looked very well, baby was complying for measurements and moving around. Have told our other two children who are fussing over me. Telling their daddy not to drive fast as mummy has a baby in her tummy. Long may this last!

Congratulations on great scans ladies. Some of the pictures are so clear. Can't wait for mine next Monday just hoping that everything is ok!

Random question. Am I just getting fat or is this a bit of a bump starting. Wasn't expecting to start getting a bump for weeks as this is my first pregnancy and I'm only 11+3. Not had fat look quite like this before though. So confused!! Before pregnancy I had a flat tummy. Usually carry extra weight on my hips rather than tummy.

Mainly just confused as I've lost weight not gained it as I've been so sick. Just confused.

I have to say I’ve been super impressed by the NHS service in my area. I went to the GP last Monday for the 1st time at 10 weeks expecting everything to be late as a result, by the Friday of that week I’d have had my booking appointment and today I got my 12 week scan through for Monday when I’ll be exactly 12 weeks! I’m really impressed how quickly it’s all been organised!

A bump at 11+3 is perfectly normal - it will be a mixture of bloat and actual bump but its definitely about the right time for something to appear.
If you look at this image that shows uterus size per week, at week 12 its about the height of your hip bones so you'll definitely be able to see something by then.

So excited for my scan tomorrow I'm trying to keep a level head at the same time.

How are we either at or almost at the 12 week mark already? Ending our first trimester absolutely crazy how quick it's all going!

My mum has just pointed out that it looks like the baby is having a cuppa.

This is the unbloated version of me. Unfortunately I am exceedingly gluten intolerant so the slightest trace and I am the definition of bloat and sickness regardless of pregnancy. This is before my lunch looks quite different again as soon as I've eaten as I will have a level of bloat again then. X

@E2017 that looks normal to me. I am 12 weeks now and my bump looks really similar.

I don't have a bump as such but the bottom part of my abdomen definitely feels hard when it's usually quite flabby . 13 weeks today and I've started getting heartburn now.

Delighted to find out earlier that my lack of symptoms is nothing to worry about - Toto was looking lovely and relaxed on the scan today 😍 all A's it should be, 9+4 👍

Had my 12 week scan earlier, my due date has changed again to 8th August. While in there my boyfriend proposed. Completely shocked, happy and excited.

@waitingfortoto - glad to hear your scan was reassuring and went well. I also have very few symptoms apart from being hungry and bloated, becoming more paranoid by the day that something isn’t right but this has put me at ease a bit
