Sleepless night last night, lovely weird dreams though, one was a bit like the final destination films the other I was on stage singing wonder wall with Liam Gallagher!😂😂😂😂😂😂
Reassurance scan today at epu and referral to my consultant, let's see how little flea is doing

Stephiewoo · 24/01/2018 07:05

@butterfly86 that bruise!!!😳
I'd get it checked out just to be safe, and also let the person who took your bloods know, they need retraining!!!

Beanmama18 · 24/01/2018 07:11

@waitingforToto that's lovely to have a due date twin!! Have a feeling my dates may change slightly tho once I've had my scan. Midwife didn't take my short cycle in to account.

Another one in the sleepless night club today.

Gem173 · 24/01/2018 07:19

Thought today would go smoothly, but nope only woke up to find someone has hit my car and left a crappy note saying sorry with their number. The notes faded and it’s falling apart because of the rain. So fucked off and so sad. I just want to cry, I have such bad luck :/

CumbrianExile · 24/01/2018 07:37

Aw gem that sucks. Hope there isn't too much damage to the car. Have a cry, it'll make you feel better! Thanks

WaitingforToto · 24/01/2018 08:31

Another non-sleeper here! I woke up at 1:30am and that was it. I'm having another reassurance scan today so I think it's just the anxiety of that.

Stephiewoo · 24/01/2018 08:33

@Gem173 That's shitty Hun, i would find them and com in their face then knock them out!!😂
Go in doors have a brew and blah the day off work xx

E2017 · 24/01/2018 08:34

This maybe a random question but is there such a thing as a pretty/sexy maternity bra. The ones I've seen come up on my app and so on quite frankly look like they'd scare me let alone the husband off. Quite possibly to be rejected even by my gran who is late 80's. I was 32G still as of a few weeks ago but have started falling out of my bras again so beginning to consider that it might be time to start looking at other options.

Any advice is very welcome. X

Emmasmum2013 · 24/01/2018 08:37

Awww Gem, thats really crap. Is there no way you can read the number off the paper? Have they done much damage?
I agree with Steph, don't bother with work today. Get the insurance sorted etc and then have a pamper day to relax!! Stay in your PJs all day. x

Emmasmum2013 · 24/01/2018 08:39

@E2017 New Look have some quite nice ones at the moment.

Gem173 · 24/01/2018 08:41

Not an amazing photo because it’s dark but still a bit of damage. Going inspector gadget on their ass later and inspecting all cars parked In the area for my paint. And I managed to get a number not sure if it’s the right one yet. And yeah I had a cry lol but now just angry.

August 2018 #3 - booking appointments and 12 week scans!
Emmasmum2013 · 24/01/2018 08:42

Boux Avenue have some lovely things for DD+ sizes - I've got a fair few from there but no maternity range unfortunately.

butterfly86 · 24/01/2018 08:50

Thanks ladies I will get it checked out today, I wasnt sure if they'd think I was over reacting by going to see about it but it is really bad and my arm hurts when I move it. Its unbelievable that a blood test can do that, I had a cannula put in the other arm on the same day for the fluids and there is only the normal pinprick bruise there.

Firstimer703 · 24/01/2018 09:03

Had my booking appointment yesterday and have my dating scan early Feb. We had an early scan on Sat for reassurance and they dated me at 11 weeks which doesn't fit with my dates so that's odd! I've been lucky with morning sickness but I'm up about 3 times a night to wee. Decided to take some flexi today so I could have an extra hour in bed!!

Stephiewoo · 24/01/2018 09:13

@butterfly86 can I ask, did they push any fluids through the bruised arm?

Emmasmum2013 · 24/01/2018 09:14

I called the ultrasound department today at the hospital to re-arrange my dating scan as I'm worried I'll be passed 14 weeks by 15th feb.
She could only give me 2 days earlier, so still waiting until the 13th feb but at least there's a small chance they'll be able to do the NT test. Its still aaaages off though!

Stephiewoo · 24/01/2018 09:15

My spelling is crap today.
I actually meant Vom in their faces and blah the day off 😂😂😂😂

SpriteGirl · 24/01/2018 10:44

Question for you ladies; my booking in appointment was on the 29th December. I am pretty sure (although maybe I got confused, there was a lot to take in) that the midwife said I'd get a card in the post showing my entitlement to free prescriptions and dental care during my pregnancy. I'm assuming this is something I'd carry around on my wallet.

Anyhow I haven't received anything??

Also she said I wouldn't hear from them re my blood results unless something was wrong. Pretty sure I am rhesus negative but again not a peep....

butterfly86 · 24/01/2018 10:47

@Stephiewoo no just bloods, the normal ones you have done at booking appointment..iron etc.

spritegirl my midwife didn't mention about the card so I rang the go surgery yesterday they were going to ask her about it. I had a prescription to get last week which was £26! So i ticked the box on the back as if I have one Blush

k4rlyb · 24/01/2018 11:03

@SpriteGirl you would need to sign a maternity exemption form to get one. You can request one from your GP. They have to fill and sign one side and so do you. My GP got me to sign the form when I went and my midwife asked on my booking appointment if I had it. Took about 2 weeks to come through the post.

SpriteGirl · 24/01/2018 11:13

Thanks butterfly and k4rlyb. I'm pretty sure I signed this at my booking in appointment as I was left with the impression that it would arrive in the post. I will call GP surgery to follow up.

Stephiewoo · 24/01/2018 11:23

Reassurance scan done and flea is looking good, bouncing around with legs and arms now 😃 so pleased ♥️
Measuring 10+1 😊

k4rlyb · 24/01/2018 11:28

Great news @Stephiewoo

Emmasmum2013 · 24/01/2018 11:36

That's fantastic @Stephiewoo
I really think they should do re-assurance scans for all ladies. I know it would cost the NHS but surely its worth it to put people's minds at rest so they're not stressing. I'm paranoid that I'm going to have my scan and something will be wrong :(
