Sorry to hear you’re miscarrying bunbun, I hope it’s over as quickly and painlessly as possible.

I’ve just had my scan and it confirmed what I thought, it’s a miscarriage. Looks like the baby died weeks ago.

@Hettyturnip oh I'm so sorry I've been there when it's been drawn out keep going for rescans only to find out it was over weeks before. Thinking of you and @BunBunmum it is truly the shittiest time.

@Expecto I have just had another row with the community midwife. She can't do my booking in for another 4 weeks. I will be 13+5 then. Not sure what to do. Need my 12 weeks scan to know all is ok or I may go a bit bonkers!

@Stephiewoo wtaf!? Why the delay? I’m staying at my mums, rang the gp surgery and got a call back from the midwife. She said as I had her last time she would try submitting a request for a scan ASAP and deal with the prelimary booking in questions over the phone...to get enough info to request the scan basically. Isn’t that even an option? I’m about ten weeks now

@Expecto I know right! It really is not my problem if there is a back log of 5 weeks, it's the surgery's fault for taking on another 4 surgery's patients. I'm going to call EPU and go through them.

Thanks everyone - Dh has taken today off work too and I have good friends and my Mum who know what’s going on too. My boss has also been in this situation before and will be understanding

When my midwife rang the hospital to book my scan all they asked for was my name and address details to find me on the system and what my due date was expected to be. They had a look when I was meant to be 12 weeks and added a bit on to make sure I would definitely be ready for the scan when I went in

My scan is booked for the 15th Feb but I've just looked at my calendar, and that means I'll be a lot closer to 14 weeks by the time I get my scan. And I've got really short cycles so I'm really worried the midwife has just gone off my LMP date for the due date and I'll be past the date that they can do the nuchal fold test on the baby.

Has anyone had anything like this? I'm tempted to call them tomorrow and try to re-arrange for the week before or a few days earlier.
