hope you didn't use it afterwards

Has he told you which one?

Emmymummy · 27/04/2007 11:08

Ellie - and you just know he's telling the truth as they do not lie about things like that

EllieKthePA · 27/04/2007 11:10

that's it tho EM, he seems serious

he just dropped it into conversation, he needed to go and was sort of asking if he could use the bowl again

Hi mears,
I did manage to have a couple of hours sleep this morning and am feeling much better. I've just had a shower as well so I feel human again.
Contractions seem to be coming a bit closer again - I was trying to have a lie down and I didn't feel I got a breather between them really, same while I was in the shower - had to do a lot of dancing as it's a small cubicle! They seem to be lasting longer too.
But, I'm not going to get my hopes up, going to wait at least an hour then time them for half an hour or so, then ring the hospital.

Morning!

I am now officially "late" - GIVE ME [[[HUGS]]]]

Come on baby .... Soooo weird waiting like this after DD2 was so early - Feeling A LOT better than all the uncomfortable-ness and twinges yesterday; which is sort of nice, but sort of frustrating, iykwim!!?

to all of you guys....

Wonderful stuff about maveta- Thank you for update MIAST, hon - Hope she is holding her precious LO RIGHT NOW! Glad stuff is happening for her ....

DD2 was a pickle going down for morning nap so I missed delivery of b-e-a-u-tiful wraps from Angel Tots and will have to go to Sorting Office to pick them up later .... gutted! Poo!

Katy44 · 27/04/2007 11:11

Hi Dippy - hugs and labour vibes!!

CaptainDippy · 27/04/2007 11:12

Ellie - @ Matthew and admitting to weeing in the breakfast bowl - The other day K told me that she had poked a girl's eye at nursery because "she felt like it" ..... Random ....

Mears - You are lovely - hope you are around when my contractions etc start .....

Emmymummy · 27/04/2007 11:14

Hello CD. Boo to being overdue too. Seems like all my babies like to be over-cooked

CaptainDippy · 27/04/2007 11:27

Seems like my baby's are completely random (much like me ) ... DD1 was 4 days late (which I am hoping this LO is not going to beat ....) and DD2 was 4 weeks early ...

Hope we have them soon EM!

I am soooo not going to tell you what I have just devoured ...... .....

Katy44 · 27/04/2007 11:29

go on Dippy!

CaptainDippy · 27/04/2007 11:33

A Pot Noodle!!

How's you katy hon?? xx

Katy44 · 27/04/2007 11:34

I thought it was going to be something really horrible - coal and apple sauce or something.
Contracting nicely thanks.

EllieKthePA · 27/04/2007 11:40

THIS CHILD IS REALLY ANNOYING ME NOW.

he's learning to tell the time so i bought him a cheap kids watch. he got cross yesterday and threw it across my bedroom. my room is a tip and i know can't find it.

he's just told me i should be pleased with him now. asked why and was told "well i didn't do it today"

how do i not just shut him outside to save my sanity??!!!!!!

EllieKthePA · 27/04/2007 11:40

Katy44 · 27/04/2007 11:40

Oh ellie
But you have to admire his logic

Katy44 · 27/04/2007 11:41

Just read my last post to Dippy - obviously coal and mint sauce would be fine

EllieKthePA · 27/04/2007 11:45

the only thing to admire is the sheer cheek he has!

have finally managed to make huggababy sling work for me. just as well cos Joe having a clingy, feed every hour, day today

OP posts:
EllieKthePA · 27/04/2007 11:46

Emmymummy · 27/04/2007 11:46

I could easily eat a Pot Noodle or two right now. Yum yum. Always good to have something quick & tasty in the cupboard!

No more weeing in bowls then Ellie?

Emmymummy · 27/04/2007 11:47

Anyone ever heard or / tried Caulophyllum? Just reading that it's supposed to stimulate contractions of you are overdue.

EllieKthePA · 27/04/2007 11:48

no, but it's ok, cos he didn't do it today ????????????

is this the way it continues, he does naughty things but doesn't tell me til a few days later, cos then he didn't do it today so it's ok

OP posts:
EllieKthePA · 27/04/2007 11:48

EM, it was suggested by one of the May girls the other day, hang on .................

thread crash*

have any of you tried Caullophyllum (homeopathic remedy that brings on a fast labour if you are ready for it... see LG&T on our may thread for this week...) want to know if it works!!!

OP posts:
Katy44 · 27/04/2007 11:54

I think its blue cohosh

Emmymummy · 27/04/2007 11:54

Hmmm wonder if it's worth a try...going into Guildford tomorrow where there's a Neals Yard store and presumably they'd sell the stuff.

Love Matthew's logic - yes of course it's OK if you did it yesterday . You've gotta admire him!
