Noooooo - Swim nappies are fabtastic ..... definitely get some!! I was just wondering whethery ou were ordering the ones you throw away, which I think are evil or the ones you just pop in the washing ..... that's all ... Trust me, you definitely need a swim nappy when taking anything under the age of 2 1/2 swimming .......

OK, sort of get the head pillow thingy ....

EllieKthePA · 23/04/2007 11:28

Eddas · 23/04/2007 11:30

matthews dairy intolerance meant he had constant loose nappies and i just couldn't face taking them home for washing. we went thru a lot of very cheap Asda pants while he was toilet training too

BTW, speaking of Fanjos (TMI alert!!) ....

Mine is unbelievably swolen - please, please, someone who has had more than one baby, tell me that there's was / is this time too ......

Eddas · 23/04/2007 11:34

Ellie, i laughed at the amount of washing stuff in the bounty pack. Won't last long though with 2 kids and 2 adults!!

I used disposable swim nappies, but only took dd once in a while. Don't think we're allowed to take 2 kids to our local pool unless there's 2 adults so probably won't go now. Well 2 kids under 7 anyway!

glitterkitty · 23/04/2007 11:34

Oh thanks, so gormless I dont know whats a good idea and whats utter rubbish going to swim twice a week so need something- sounds better than evil disposables anyway...

I liked the monster CD!

CaptainDippy · 23/04/2007 11:35

No diary intolarences here, just two girls with really gross poo .....

Can't BELIEVE my next door neighbour has chosen NOW to use a strimmer in his front garden - GET A JOB!!! really hoping he doesn't wake up DD2 .........

Sooooooo loud!

Eddas · 23/04/2007 11:36

Mine's not too attractive cd but hoping that just having given birth is the reason and that it will look better soon

Mind you are they ever attractive, nope guess not!!!

CaptainDippy · 23/04/2007 11:37

Eddas - wouldn't your DP / DH go with you? Or a friend? That's how we get to go swimming ..... Dunno what we're going to do with 3 under 3.5 though ....

CaptainDippy · 23/04/2007 11:37

It's just the swelling Eddas - It's obscene!!

Eddas · 23/04/2007 11:40

Right dd needs picking up so will leave you ladies to it

hope to be back later, if i can remove dh from his chess!!! Have taught dd to say that daddy talks to chess geeks on the computer. think he found it funny

EllieKthePA · 23/04/2007 11:42

Hello everyone,
Am off to Asda in a minute - do I get anything if my waters break there? Would you believe I am so bored I'm going to a different supermarket (not Sainsbury's) and worse, I'm really looking forward to it!!

glitterkitty · 23/04/2007 11:55

LMAO Katy! I do that- get excited about new supermarkets- so does my dp tho At least I'm pg, so got excuse!

CaptainDippy · 23/04/2007 11:56

I like Asda! Their clothes are fab and they do a lovely range of baby / young child toiletries called Halos N Horns, which smell divine! Thier Good Stuff range for healthy children's snacks is great too (Although you won't be needing that for a whie katy....)

Yey for Asda!!

Ooooh, my MIL's waters went at the checkout in Tesco and she got her shopping free - Worth a try!!!?

CaptainDippy · 23/04/2007 11:56

Supermarkets are exciting - esp ones that do clothes and lots of Extras. Ooooh, not forgetting - a Cafe!!!

Katy44 · 23/04/2007 11:59

Yep, I like Asda too - tend to use Sainsbury's as it's close to work and it's the same place as Boots, M&S, Next etc - I always seem to need to go to another one of them as well. But the clothes in Asda are good (and cheap!!) and their salad and bread etc is much nicer than Sainsbury's. Plus there's the novelty of not having been for a while - what new stuff will they have got in?? Will have a look out for Halos and Horns.

glitterkitty · 23/04/2007 12:00

...or even better, a starbucks where you can get giant mocha frappucino....
