Yup - just checked. 16 left to go but about half are due or overdue now.

Wonder how Pesha is getting on? Hope it all kicked off at last.

Katy44 · 23/04/2007 09:05

maveta, don't you dare.

Katy44 · 23/04/2007 09:09

Well am still beating the thread for due in Jan 08 so far!

maveta · 23/04/2007 09:15

Lol Katy - and what do you mean re. beating the jan thread???

Are we all alone again...?

glitterkitty · 23/04/2007 09:16

Maveta lol, ok I'll have mine today, you can have yours tommorow. Was thinking a good long walk might help but I so cant be ars*d.

Id make the cake but I dont have eggs. And I think they are essential.

You can use white instead of brown sugar tho, prob will not taste much different. And 2 level teaspoons of baking powder will convert that amount of plain, btw

glitterkitty · 23/04/2007 09:18

Surely if you were due in JAN you cant still be waiting?!?! makes scream face

Katy44 · 23/04/2007 09:20

No I mean I want to have my baby before the due in Jan 08 thread appears. Some people on the due in Dec thread are due quite late on, so the Jan thread can't be far away!

Katy44 · 23/04/2007 09:20

glitterkitty I hope not - otherwise I'll be having a summer baby!

maveta · 23/04/2007 09:26

Oh Katy - you know you are just setting yourself up for a fall there, don´t you? When the jan thread appears all we will hear from you are wails of frustration! lol..

sounds like a deal glitterkitty - but the long walk thing is a load of shite.. not sure how long ´long´ is but I walk about 40mins everyday and it´s not brought anything along so far Save your energy for labour, I reckon.

hmmmm.. think I might make a cake then...

Oh no!
Thanks for updating us Ellie, hope things start speeding up for her soon

IsabellyMoi · 23/04/2007 09:50

Happy due date Katy!!

Sounds like Pesha had some real labour happening last night...hope it all resulted in a baby!

Thanks for the new thread Ellie - please don't leave! You are kind of like the thread doula and we need you.

Am I the most overdue? April 11th was SO long ago. I'll see the consultant again today and get an induction date.

Some hope though - I had a slight trickle of amniontic fluid - NO labour pains yet though - just BHs. Ho hum.

Labour vibes to all of us. And patience. And sleep. I'm so sleep deprived now - am hoping it is possible to have a good, happy, birth experience when I'm this tired.

IsabellyMoi · 23/04/2007 09:51

x-post.

Poor Pesha!

EllieKthePA · 23/04/2007 09:54

she's gonna text me again if she gets the chance, and will send bubblez her baby news when it arrives (she says if she ever has one!)

Morning my lovelies!!

Hope you are all well, v quick post as Robyn is sleeping (Hurray!)....not caught up at all but as it is my first day "home alone" with just me and my girl I have had chance to nip on and wave at you all and dear god I am actually showered and wearing clothes (rather than PJ's) before 10am!!! Such small things seem like such big achievements to me at the moment!

James is in nursery all day.

Lots of labour vibes to all of you who are waiting...

xxxx

Emmymummy · 23/04/2007 10:14

Hello Muminasaggytummy, good to hear you're up and about and feeling positive. That first day on your own is a bit scarey huh?

Will sent pieces of cake out with Bigonion once I've baked it. Not sure how long it'll take him to swim to Mallorca though Maveta, could be a bit soggy by the time it gets there.

Have Bramshott & Orla coming to visit this morning - ooooo I get to cuddle a real baby!

glitterkitty · 23/04/2007 10:15

Hi Isabelly- 12 days over? ! I also thought I had leaked a bit in the night when I woke this morning- but nothing since. Going to lay down again in a bit to see if it happens again.

Fingers crossed for Pesha, and for us all...i wonder if i9 eat a whole pineapple it will help?

Emmymummy · 23/04/2007 10:21

GK - apparently you need to eat 7 pineapples for them to have an effect.

EllieKthePA · 23/04/2007 10:23

just seen a thread about a free trial on family railcards, look here

i've done it, you don't have to sign up to anything other than a free trial til 31st July, then it'll be cheaper to buy the full year card if you want to.

thought it might be useful if we do end up having meet-ups in next few months as it makes rail travel cheaper?

and if it's completely free (which it is) it won't matter if i never use it!

OP posts:
glitterkitty · 23/04/2007 10:30

I cant eat 7 pineapples. I could, however, eat 7 cream slices.

CaptainDippy · 23/04/2007 10:31

Ooooh, Bramshott & Orla are coming to see you Emmy -how lovely - of scrummy newborn cuddles!! Say hello from me!

Really hope Pesha will be holding her precious LO asap - poor love, she's been through it too, just like poor octo!!

Come on baby ......

EllieKthePA · 23/04/2007 10:32

not sure cream slices have the same labour-inducing properties

you could always claim it was scientific research tho!
