Sorry, just got distracted on itunes for a minute...

The Tesco code should be ok for everyone to use - was a postcard through the door, not with our statement. Also should have said, is valid for deliveries on or before 6 May. That would be great if you could email around Ellie - thanks!

Off for my pizza, have a great night all

xx

CaptainDippy · 15/04/2007 20:26

Congratualtions to Mumcab!

Nutty, am gobsmacked at that midwife's patronising attitude & so cross that any professional could think it's in any way appropriate to treat a labouring woman that way! Sounds like you did a fantastic job despite that, congratulations again.

Hugs to 1b3 & ooggs, seems so unaifr that after such difficult & tiring pregnancies you're now having to work so hard. I am full of admiration for you both.

Hugs to CD too and hope you're enjoying your pizza.

All the best for tomorrow MIABT!

Had a great day despite having gone overdue AGAIN, my parents, sister & her ds's came up so we had a lovely outdoor lunch and dd had a fantastic time playing with her cousin. After some really rotten days I felt fantastic today - really full of energy & positive. Late pregnancy really is a funny beast......

liath · 15/04/2007 20:32

Awww, MIABT - think we need a group hug! It's been quite a ride we've shared!

CaptainDippy · 15/04/2007 20:34

HUG!!!]]]]]]]]]]]]]]

Hope DH comes back with piza soon - I m clearly going to die of starvation.....

CaptainDippy · 15/04/2007 20:35

pizza even - I am completely in La La Land today ...

Daisybump · 15/04/2007 21:03

Thanks for the advice re the RLT ladies.....hope you didn't think I was being rude by ignoring you...been a busy couple of days. I'll definately give it a go.....Good Luck for those of you still to pop!!

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 15/04/2007 21:10

Hi ladies,

Hope everyone has had a lovely day in the sunshine.

Hugs to those who have had rough days with dh's/dp's.

Congrats to Mumcab!!!! I didn't get the email though, so can someone fill me in as to what she had/name etc.

CD, hope you enjoy your pizza

Maveta, hope you get a better nights' sleep tonight.

MIAMT, your last paragraph made me cry you sweetheart! All the very best for tomorrow.x

Ooogs and 1b3, my thoughts are with you both.

And loads of love to everyone I have failed to mention - again!

Totally knackered having had a house full today, but it has been great fun and I feel pretty happy.

Going to head to bed soon methinks, so if I am not back on later, hope everyone has a good night and will see you in the morning.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 15/04/2007 21:15

Ignore my request for info re Mumcab - have seen the updated stats thank you.

Lovely name!!!

CaptainDippy · 15/04/2007 22:32

Glad you are SOSPL and that you have had a good day!

Pizza was yum yum yummy - DH just finishing watching a programme and I am just wasting time on MN til he comes upstairs and makes the bed (we have a King-Size and being 5" isn't v.condusive to actually being able to make it all by myself - esp when I am 9 months PG!!!!)

Hope everyone is doing ok - Perhaps they'll be some more bubbas (apart from the obvious - MIAMT ) tomorrow??

Hope so .....

Anyone else around??

CaptainDippy · 15/04/2007 22:34

Oh, forgot to mention - DH painted my toenails for me this evening, as I can't reach them any more and wanted something "pretty to look at while I'm in labour" .... bless him .... think we're understanding each other a bit better now ...... We do have one v.mis-shapen saucepan now though after my litle outburst earlier.

claricebean · 15/04/2007 23:15

Just popped in while sterilising the nipple shields and then it's back to bed for me. Good luck anyone who's labouring now. Have only had time to look at the last few posts but...

MIABT - good luck for tomorrow

CD - glad you and DH are getting on better

Pesha - first time I've 'seen' you since my labour night. Thanks for keeping me company before I went in. ...and octo too.

Hugs to everyone who's getting fed up.

Mossie · 15/04/2007 23:22

Ladies, just popping in to say I'm not ignoring you all, but I'm so busy with my newborn I haven't had chance to catch up yet and see who has "popped" since last I checked!

So I'm going to come back tomorrow and I swear I'll have a proper read and - hopefully, if you're an organised bunch! - look at some photos too!!

Good luck to all those who are waiting still, I know how tough it can be. xxxx

octo · 16/04/2007 02:38

arrrgghh no-one up????

Contractions 3 minutes apart - tens on full! Did get to asleep about 10-2am but woke up in pain, had several wees, a nosebleed (am 34 and have never had one before!) and dh has put my tens on - told him to go back to sleep in case nothing as he will need to be on duty tomorrow if just another sleepless night...

IsabellyMoi · 16/04/2007 02:50

Congratulations MUMCAB! Another beautiful name. Hope you are all doing wonderfully!

Lesley - thanks for the email with your story and the gorgeous photos of George! So glad you had the birth you wanted (even though it 'was more painful than you could have imagined'). DH was hanging over my shoulder while I was reading the email so I pointed that out to him...I'm trying the impossible task of getting us mentally prepared for agony. I'm sure I have no idea!

Hi to Zazas, Liath, and the other mummies with patient/comfortable/stubborn babies! I'm up at 2:50am because I can't sleep for the niggles and BHs but I don't really think it is the start of any action. I have a meeting with a consultant tomorrow (today I guess!) to discuss induction options...I'll only be 40 + 5 so think I still have some time before they start intervening too much.

(HUGS) MIAMT...lovely message you posted. We will all be waiting for your happy announcement. Hope you are having a comfortable, stress-free sleep right now and that tomorrow is as perfect as can be for you, Phil, James and the LO.

aaaww Pesha - sorry it has been a bit rough. I've been thinking of you with the SPD (sorry if I'm forgetting others who are still suffering). I STUPIDLY played badminton on Saturday (felt great at the time!) and am paying for it with some SPD symptoms. I'm sure it is only a touch of what you've put up with for SO long and you have all my empathy.

CD - glad you could enjoy pizza, a pedicure and chat with DH. Not long to go now...hang in there. I must say I'm very impressed that you are still working. I'm not sure what I'd be like if I was working and parenting 2 young kids on top of everything else!!! Give yourself a pat on the back

Hugs to all the others I haven't mentioned. Sorry this is so long...this is what happens when I have too much time b/c of insomnia!

IsabellyMoi · 16/04/2007 02:53

Hi Octo,

You okay? This WASN'T supposed to happen yet, right? You were trying to keep legs crossed 'til when?

octo · 16/04/2007 02:58

Still here - 3 minutes apart still and sore! Tens still on - thinking about getting birthing ball out and watching a film on sky to pass the time. Not going anywhere until screaming for pain relief LOL! Not far off - but as he is back to back - could be a long time coming! Or like the other nights of contractions could just stop!

octo · 16/04/2007 02:59

Til friday!!! If he comes today could be okay for appeal on thurs - if not dh could go on his own - fully debreifed!

ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch

IsabellyMoi · 16/04/2007 02:59

Wonder if Octo has gone because this is turning into THE REAL THING?

Tens on full and 3 mins apart sounds very promising! However, not quite sure what to say to you because I know you didn't want it quite yet!?

NO LABOUR VIBES!

IsabellyMoi · 16/04/2007 03:00

Ooooh - there you are!

octo · 16/04/2007 03:00

x post!

octo · 16/04/2007 03:01

If this is it - need mega labour and turning vibes! But if not ... would quite like them to stop so can go back to sleep!!

IsabellyMoi · 16/04/2007 03:02

Good thing you are so organized and DH is fully briefed.

BREEATHE (how annoying is it to hear that!!??)

IsabellyMoi · 16/04/2007 03:03

Okay - I'm going to send turning and labour vibes because I think this is it!!
