EllieKthePA · 10/04/2007 22:24

octo · 10/04/2007 22:28

Had 4 hours of contractions last night and have been on and off all day - back again now! Just think he is trying to squeeze into my pelvis though! When see my consultant next thurs - if not arrived by then - am going to ask for them to check he will actually fit through LOL! Am getting more worried that he will come next thurs and will miss school appeal!

Exciting to hear of shows/waters breaking - there is hope!!!

EllieKthePA · 10/04/2007 22:30

pmsl @ might not fit through

bit different to the convos we used to have about flappy fanjos

so are they back on now or gone away again?

OP posts:
octo · 10/04/2007 22:38

I'm not a flappy girl

They are still going - dh has arrived home with choc which he says will go straight onto baby's head LOL - better than my bum! There is a large bar of fruit and nut balancing quite nicely on top of my bump waiting for a cup of tea!

My new pushchair is coming tomorrow - quite exciting!

octo · 10/04/2007 22:39

ds2 didn;t really fit through without 3 blokes pulling him out a la ventouse so wouldn't surprise me if Ernie needed help - hence dh comment about chocolate!

EllieKthePA · 10/04/2007 22:41

fruit and nut octo
how could you
i'm suffering from a lack of patience tonight, yet more of those daft pg threads about not doing stuff. gets right on my tits

OP posts:
octo · 10/04/2007 22:46

Whats wrong with fruit and nut? Have eaten peanuts, shellfish, raw(ish) eggs and drunk wine fgs! Does that mean I am a bad mother before I even start? LOL

i think it means i love you octo

so far tonight i have seen
this which is kinda more understandable as the poor lady has had loads of problems in the past, but even so, if she doesn't lighten up a bit she'll never enjoy being pg

and this

this was the funniest, oh no, can i wear an underwired bra for one evening without is causing irreprable harm?!

sorry everyone, i know i'm being a complete bitch and i realise it's very difficult, especially for first timers, i just hate that modern 'advice' takes away the enjoyment from experiencing your child growing inside you cos you're too busy worrying

EllieKthePA · 10/04/2007 22:54

greaat minds octo glad i'm not the only one who thinks like that

OP posts:
EllieKthePA · 10/04/2007 23:02

sorry, really bad mood tonight

OP posts:
octo · 10/04/2007 23:02

Couldn't resist the last one!

Birdiebump · 10/04/2007 23:02

I'm so p*ssed off!! Still no sign of anything. So it looks like I'm going to be in the 10-odd percent of women who don't go into labour within 24 hours of waters breaking!!! Still leaking lots of lovely liquor of course....

However. Lovely to log on and see Twinkle's news! Lovely quick labour too - well done girl!!

Eddas - I think I'm waiting for you - whether I like it or not!! However I will put up a fight if they suggest induction after 48 hours (assuming everything else is well of course and LO is moving nicely). I do not want to be induced unless I really, really have to be... Hot chilli I ate tonight may work yet so fingers crossed.

octo · 10/04/2007 23:04

ooh have always been told to sleep on my left! But I know I end up on back or right LOL

EllieKthePA · 10/04/2007 23:04

Birdiebump · 10/04/2007 23:07
