i'd defo go for one like pesha suggested Maveta, rather than a specific cup size x

or get some nursing vests from mothercare as they are 10,12,14 etc rather than cup sizes?

maveta · 02/04/2007 19:34

Great suggestions girls, thanks, will check them out x

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 19:36

your dh must hate us maveta, all we do is encourage you to spend more money

octo · 02/04/2007 19:50

I am off to bed early as well - nothing on tv and would like to see if can get 10 hours in! See you all tomorrow - with some more babies please!

katy, there will be many times over the next 18+ years when you're wishing it back in, don't wish it out too much now

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 20:00

Boo! Good evening ladies!! Had fun at the farm - No more slides; but I did roll in the hay bales with my girlies for a bit .... is that naughty!!!?

DH is sorting out baby clothes as I type - he is getting all emotional, esp @ DD2's early baby stuff ..... Bless ..... He is a big softie - Ideal father for girls!!

How is everyone doing this evening? Feeling quite low and a little uncomfortable, but ok - Can't wait til Thurs ..... 37 weeks! Yippee!

Pesha · 02/04/2007 20:00

Have a pain in my left side, is a pain I have been ignoring for 4 years but last couple weeks seems to be becoming more of a problem with big baby and now thinking could be a problem in labour so think im gonna have to see dr tomorrow. It really hurts

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 20:01

Flippin' heck Octo - that's early - hopey ou get a good night's rest hon ....

Katy44 · 02/04/2007 20:03

CD - your farm trip sounds like lots of fun!
Pesha - hope you get the pain sorted out

zazas · 02/04/2007 20:08

Congratulations Dooby! Love the name, so cute. Love seeing the pictures of the babies - so very cute and I will echo the others in that it makes it real for those with time to go!.

It is reassuring to hear others talk about being kept awake at night by the baby moving - mine never stops it seems and at 3am it is no fun! I have 2 more days at work to go - 5 days before due date - I have had it now. Impossible to concentrate for long and can't do meetings without squirming! I need some rest days.

Sorry Pesha that you are having a hard time with your ex - I have and still go there with mine sometimes. All I know what works for me is to stick to my guns in that do what is best for the child - not the ex or even me. It seems to always work out best this way - hard to sometimes not get your own emotions / needs involved though.

Oh well I too are off for an earlish night. Both my other 2 announced they were ready to come by breaking their waters in the middle of the night so each time I go to bed I wonder if tonight is the night - it certainly feels like I am ready!

Which DiddyDippie would that be??

GirtWaspbElly · 02/04/2007 20:22

Hello all - I just know I'm going to go over due on Thurs.
Well it means I can plant my hanging baskets and paint the blanket box {see, I'm so sure I've been saving things to do with my time}
DH's Best mans wife had her baby on Sunday - with a 39 - yes, I say again thirty-nine minute labour ...that's really thrown the gauntlet down! Was kept in overnight for obs (at a guess I'd say in shock as her first was a nice steady affair over 6 hours or so)
I know it was a good wedding of ours, but one of our other wedding guests is due this week too - it's her first though so I'm hoping not to be the last of the 3!
SOSPL glad to see you've been 'forgiven' and all is back to normal. of MIAMT having garden sorted out - we've a bottom terrace that needs doing - but we're more than a bit skint and DH will never ever do ANYTHING to jeapordise his perfect black bank account. It's just different approaches to money between us, and as I'm not working it's only fair finances are done HIS way really. But being financially independant meant such a lot to me...
Have to agree with the cuteness of all the babies so far, hope mines not too Winston Churchill/Queen Victoria/squashed tomato!!

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 02/04/2007 20:22

CD, how can you manage to roll in the hay? I can barely walk!

Octo, cannot believe you have gone to bed so early!! Happy sleeping!!

Katy, pmsl at your urgency for the raspberry leaf tea to start working! I cannot face taking them. I am crap at swallowing pills. I have to say to myself, I will die if I don't take this pill!!

Well, the love affair with Becky is over already! She has been a pita tonight saying she doesn't like me etc. Apparently she was like this over the weekend with Andrej's parents, so they are not too thrilled! In a horrible sort of way, I am quite glad they found her to be difficult too. I think they sometimes think that the sun shines out of her!

Right, need to finish dinner and slob in front of Corrie.

Back later. Love to all. x

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 02/04/2007 20:25

GirtWaspElly, am I right in thinking you support Wasps rugby club or have I made that up??

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 20:50

It is good for those in-laws to get a "real" of what our gorgeous little darlings are really like ain't it, SOSPL!!? Hope B has a good night sleep and is feeling more sunny in the morning....

Sending DH out to get petrol and chocolate while I sort our 3-6m clothes ....

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 20:51

you started craving petrol as well as chocolate now cd? not sure it's very good for you

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 20:57

Oh.

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 20:59

never mind, you can put in in the lawnmower instead

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 21:01

Our lawnmower doesn't take petrol ..... It is a proper old-fashioned rotary type one!! Probably belongs in a musuem .....
