Right off to try and do something constructive today, not sure what. Will be back later, hope everyone has a good day

nellyhel · 02/04/2007 08:30

Eddas - dd was 3 days early, ds 3 late, so this one will be arriving on due date... Honest. And I will be complaining to mw if I am wrong .

Happy Due Date Eddas!! Ignore 'em!!

RH - As far as my vast experience goes - going to the loo that much for a poo in an hour is a definite sign that stuff is "happening" - Like your body "clearing itself out in preparation, iykwim!!?" Ooooh.....

Hoep everything goes ok for Dooby today!!

Come Outside episode has just finished, so my time here is up for now ..... I'll be back later ....

Feeling heavy and sick this morning, but ok - bump has definitely dropped in the last couple of days .....

Morning all

LesleyR - just wanted to say thinking of you at this time.

Bubblez - what a labour story - was glad you put a disclaimer saying this is not the norm!!! But judging from the pictures it was a worth it, she is so gorgeous - well both your DCs are.

Eddas - sending labour vibes your way

Katy44 · 02/04/2007 10:22

YvieE - not long to go for us!! Has anyone with about my time left (3 weeks) started taking the raspberry leaf tablets? Or is it far too early?

weeonion · 02/04/2007 10:24

katy - i have been taking mine for a well over a week. the gal in the shop recommended taking them about 4 weeks b4 due. i am also topping up with tea as well. i am due in 2 weeks.

Katy44 · 02/04/2007 10:26

Thanks weeonion.
Will pack my hospital bag tonight and start taking them tomorrow - how exciting!!
Have made my hospital bag list, but haven't actually got round to picking stuff up and putting it in yet

YvieE · 02/04/2007 10:28

Hi Katy, WO - I'm off to Holland and Barratt today to hopefully get the RL tablets and then I'm going to start popping them straight away!

Pesha · 02/04/2007 10:43

Bloody *!#ing, £%&ing stupid xp!!! Dont know if you remember me saying he was taking dd out sat or how much I said but anyway he did. Took her off for the afternoon for lunch and things. Told me on phone he wouldnt be feeding her crap or macdonalds or anything lke that, would take her somewhere for proper food. Also told me when we were discussing him coming back into her life that he wouldnt spoil her with non stop sweets and whatever she wants like grandparents but would treat her like I do. AND this was not what I asked him to do it was what he volunteered he would do. So she comes back been hungry horse for lunch had loads of sweets and ice cream and had macdonalds for tea and came back with chocolate easter egg. Then he asked if he can have her next weekend cos his parents are coming down. I said no cos we've agreed (again entirely his suggestion) that he sees her once a month, so far he has only seen her twice, so to see her 2 weekends in a row is just going to confuse her and make her think that that could be a regular occurence. As far as im concerned he can start off seeing her less and gradually increase the frequency if we want, that shouldnt confuse her too much; but he cant start seeing her lots and then drop it down cos then she'll be left feeling lost and wondering why he's not here so much etc. I said this briefly and he just turned around said ok and walked back to car to wait while dd was getting a pic to show him. If he wanted to see her next weekend why not say that when i suggested this one?!
Oh she also mentioned friday that when she used to visit him 3 years ago when she was 3 he used to give her chewing gum she's not allowed it now for fucks sake.

Anyway she's just been talking to me about he's her real daddy and he likes her to call him daddy and dee (his wife) is her step mummy so they're thinking of names for dee. And jamie who she calls daddy and has been there for her since she was 21months old and even when him and i split up for a while still used to have her as much as ds, apparently he's just her step daddy. AND, and this is the best bit, when she's older she can choose whos house she wants to live in! I sadi to her well maybe when you're MUCH older and she said yeah like 20 or something and i said yes exactly. How fucking dare he. Hes walked out on her twice already for fucks sake, he's spent 2 afternoons with her after not bothering AT ALL for 3 years, not even a birthday or christmas card, NOTHING and he's telling her she can live with him.

Sorry for huge rant but i am f*cking fuming and dp worked last night and stayed at his house so ive noone to rant at. Plus if i told him hed probably wanna drive to andover and twat the f*ker.

geordiemacminx · 02/04/2007 10:44

Hey ladies!!

Katy - I'm not 36 weeks til tomorrow and I have started taking them - and they are 900mg ones as they were the only ones I could get!!! Have to say they havent done much good yet - probably just another placebo that the suck pregnant ladies into buying hoping that it will make baby come quickly and pain free - its like all the stupid stretch mark lotions I have bought - like theye've worked - NOT!!!

WO - baby still here - no liverpool appearance, much to Billy's disgust..

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 02/04/2007 10:46

Morning all.

Eddas, labour vibes coming your way my love!

Hello to everyone on this lovely sunny day.

Reunion with Becky was fine. I don't know why I get so stressed about it all. Anyway, she is now at preschool and I have the day to do stuff, which will probably involve a nap! Had a shite nights sleep as well - couldn't get comfy, needed several HUGE wees, aching hips etc - you all know the score!

Better get on. Catch up later. xxxx

thePA · 02/04/2007 10:56

morning all, just dragged my backside out of bed!

Pesha - rant away, i'm not gonna respond to it cos I know that when i'm feeling like that about Matthews dad (thankfully very rare), no-one can really help and i end up getting p'd off with anyone that trys to talk to me about it!

so i'll just leave you to rant, but i am here if you do want to talk

congrats dooby - i know it hasnt been an easy time of it babe.

there we go folks - i am so pleased to have been able to break some baby news - monday morning, beginning of april and we are on a roll............

Pesha · 02/04/2007 11:08

Thanks ellie - this was my biggest fear that he was gonna start undermining our family. The only person he's gonna upset is maia by making her feel insecure and that she doesnt fully belong anywhere. I really feel like i wanna say no you can fuck off now im not having this and forget the whole thing but dd really likes to see him and would be too upset and is old enough to remember and i just couldnt stop it now. He's not gonna listen to me though I can see it. he was like this before. The way he just walked away rather than discussing things lke a grown up. Ill phone him later when dds in bed or something and tell him what i think. bet he hangs up on me at least 3 times!!

Cant believe he said she can live with him if she wants when she's older. I would say over my dead body but id like to think it would happen then either.

Might have to go and start my own thread to rant about this before i completely take this one over and ruin all the happy baby talk! Or miserable still pregnant talk!!

thePA · 02/04/2007 11:09

wow WO

was it her c/section or did she have it early? that's bloody quick back on the text if she had a c/s this morning
