No sweetie - Didn't you know - Old fasioined lawnmowers are far superior to ride-ons - They have that kitsch value dharling, that je ne cest quoi, that retro-ness that one simply must adorned one's garden with!!

Yes, DiddiestDippie was sooo tiny and v.adorable - 5lb at birth, but prob about 4lb 6oz in that pic - Yum! Would prefer a bigger one this time though - less hassle, trust me!!

Really need some advice

Am getting really uncomfortable pain in my groin, and in my bum cheeks. Walking round Tescos and sort of felt like I needed a poo (sorry tmi) But it passed after a few minutes. Stomach went really hard quite a few times (took my breath away), and this lasted for about an hour. None of this pain is following any pattern - its really erractic.
Don't want to call the mw out and be told its another false alarm, but, and this is a big but, dh is due to work in Kent tomorrow, which is 4 hours away.

HELP!

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 21:11

i'd agree with that, my whopper was far less agro, til he was walking by 11 months

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 21:11

oooh Dippy, have you seen the message for you on the swap thread?

runnyhabbit · 02/04/2007 21:16

I've had a quick look on some other threads, and some women have similar symptoms in early labour, but a bit worried how quickly things could progress.
If dh was working closer to home, I think I'd be a bit more laid back.
Going to have a bath and see how I feel.

runnyhabbit · 02/04/2007 21:18

Think I'll get dh to ring his boss, and tell him whats happening (maybe exaggerate a bit) His boss might be able to swap some work around for him.

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 21:19

Call your local Unit RH, they won't mind ....

Will look on swap thread now Ellie ....

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 21:19

make him do whatever feels right for you runny x

weeonion · 02/04/2007 21:22

runny - not that i know anyhting but - if you are worried give the mw a call. you dont want to be on yr own if it all sets in?? even just to set yr mind at rest??

CaptainDippy · 02/04/2007 21:27

Agreed - Call 'em!! .... and as regards to DH - good idea about getting him to call his boss, just as a precaution - You do not want to be caught out ... My friend had a baby three weeks ago and her DH went up north on business and missed the birth .... It does happen .....

Pinionsrus · 02/04/2007 21:41

OMG have just won my "dream" bag on ebay am so chuffed.

Yeh thanks for warning me off Ellie - you should have told me to get my arse back on here then I would've saved £50.

Theres loads that I've missed but I will try to remember here goes.

Congrats to dooby....one less to go now!

Ange - good luck with your section I think its wednesday if I remember correctly?

Thanks guys for the "tens" machine advice, it is being delivered B4 1pm tomorrow so ** it if I go into labour tonight lol.

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 21:43

it's your fault i'm bidding on another pushchair

i thought i'd just have a very quick look ........

Pinionsrus · 02/04/2007 21:45

STOP DON'T DO IT ELLIE!!!!!!

GirtWaspbElly · 02/04/2007 21:46

SOSPL yes- I'm the Wasps rugby fan (wayhey we're through to the Heineken Cup Semi Final!) and I was a VERY sensible girl and didn't actually go to the match on Saturday. That said, I WAS bouncing up and down on the sofa with glee, so I'm not sire there would have been much difference(no baby movement no matter what!) DS is v sweet at the moment (at 21 months) as any ball-sport he sees on TV is greeted with the shout of WASSSS WASSS! Haven't the heart to disabuse him just yet...
Shame Becky's angelicness didn't make it to my amusingly-timed xpost earlier!

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 21:46

it's nearly over no, just a few minutes ........

and it is very cheap, and only a few miles away .........

Pinionsrus · 02/04/2007 21:46

Don't say that I didn't warn you...how much?

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 21:47

£20

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 21:47

so less than you!

Pinionsrus · 02/04/2007 21:52

Do it then!!!

LOL at Katy - I want my money back give it time!!! they take a few days to "kick in so to speak. Then they don't stop.

I've stopped taking mine cos it really hurts and it feels like I'm in labour every day at the minute just for a few minutes?

divastrop · 02/04/2007 21:52

just thought id stick my nose in from the march post-natal thread and wish you all good luck and easy labours

EllieKthePA · 02/04/2007 21:53

didn't win it, but not worried, there'll be more

sooooo, what was the bag?

Pinionsrus · 02/04/2007 21:54

Runny hope you're alright. Is this your first, just wondering if you've got something to compare it to thats all??? I am sure that you will "know" when its the real thing?

Pinionsrus · 02/04/2007 21:57
