Thanks @buttery!

Ooh I've not got a sling yet, going to check it out now 😃

Ah @Jules that's excellent news! I find when I am really busy or rushed off my feet I can miss movements, and once I stop and properly relax I feel little one shifting about so much more. How is the new house?

GingerHanna · 05/10/2017 06:17

Ohhhhh @Zampa... how are you this morning?

OP posts:
Zampa · 05/10/2017 07:13

A little bit pleased with myself @gingerhanna - thanks for asking! Currently 2 hours more pregnant than with DD and feeling much better than I was last time. Today was such a milestone and I'm so glad I've passed it!

butterybollocks · 05/10/2017 09:55

Great stuff @Zampa!

@AGnu it's close caboo's own website. I ordered mine from there - very efficient delivery :)

lydiangel83 · 05/10/2017 09:56

Well done @Zampa :)

Hazandduck · 05/10/2017 10:38

Congratulations on the milestone @Zampa :) x

AGnu · 05/10/2017 10:58

Congrats Zampa... This one's probably going to be 2 weeks late & you'll be desperate to get it out! Grin

buttery I can't find anything on their website about a discount & the code doesn't seem to work for me! Nevermind, I'd probably get annoyed with it & go back to using a pashmina African-style anyway!

Topsyloulou · 05/10/2017 12:07

@zampa so pleased you've passed this milestones. Hopefully there is another 7 weeks for you to enjoy!

I've had a trip to the mat unit this morning. Woke up to bleeding, brown blood rather than bright red but still worrying. The hospital said to go straight in & get it checked. Everything was fine, she's moving well, good strong heartbeat, no signs of any contractions & cervix still intact. They're not sure why I was bleeding but happy that everything is ok. Been sent home to rest for the day & do nothing. Only thing I'll be doing is finishing my hospital bag, threw it in the car this morning just in case & it was definitely missing stuff.

Motherhippy16 · 05/10/2017 14:51

@topsyloulou I'm glad everything is ok... can't believe how real this is all getting.... I'm 32 weeks today and only just starting to show with a real bump which i love. Am in the middle of painting the nursery but have so much paperwork to do to finish off work with its getting a bit sidelined much to my dh dismay! 2 weeks till maternity leave!!!! Much love to all x

DuRezidal · 05/10/2017 20:05

Is anyone else in pain when their baby is moving?

I have a really small bump, am very narrow so there isn't much room at all. But it is making me catch my breath, and there are some really sharp kicks.

butterybollocks · 05/10/2017 20:30

Yes! I was going to ask the same question! Bump feels really tight and I'm quite often in pain, especially right down in my pelvis.

DuRezidal · 05/10/2017 21:13

Glad it's not just me!

A friend who is exactly the same EDD keeps texting me saying how wonderful it is feeling the movement and I just feel pain!

AGnu · 05/10/2017 21:14

Yup! I'm fully expecting to give birth to Wolverine - I swear she's trying to claw her way out through my side! Sometimes it's not at all painful but sometimes it feels like poking a bad bruise with a hot poker! This evening is one of those times.

lydiangel83 · 05/10/2017 21:23

@DuRezidal yes I have been breathless due to pain during major turns, and often feels bruised when she/he is pressed against my insides. Bump dropped down last week at 35.5 wks and marginally more comfortable now, but back ache worse so actually preferred the previous pain!!

Zampa · 05/10/2017 22:12

Gosh, how scary @topsyloulou! Glad that everything is ok.

My little darling has changed position constantly today - doing headstands and then back to breech. The latter is particularly painful as she manages to kick my bladder to the extent I think I'm going to wet myself. Frantically practising Kegels as a result!

Motherhippy16 · 06/10/2017 10:06

Hi all... yes baby had moved his way up into my ribs atm.... well he feel a as though he is all over the place tbh! Sharp kicks and everything but am having big problems with reflux atm... has anyone got any helpful hints? Am trying to eat small and often but everytime I bend down or move I want to be sick.... it's constant! Worried about not getting enough nutrition to baby as am being sick after nearly every meal. Lot of love to all x

izzibee29 · 06/10/2017 20:20

Oh my gosh, in two days time we reach a significant point. It's the point where it's a month to go for our early due daters!!!!

So exciting @SarahS17 @Jamandbumpsmum

Zampa · 07/10/2017 07:34

When are you due @lydiangel83? I thought that you had your EDD moved forward quite a lot.

I'm sure someone will end up with an October baby (not me please) especially one of the mums-to-be expecting twins.

lydiangel83 · 07/10/2017 08:16

@Zampa yes I’m due 1/11! I’m quite uncomfortable now with constant back pain but still want some quiet time before baby arrives so not sure - can’t tell whether will be early or late! It’s my first and I don’t want to go very overdue but equally don’t want mega early! My original due date was 25/11, well remembered!!

izzibee29 · 07/10/2017 08:24

Oh @lydiangel83 sorry I didn't mention you!!! Update the excel doc :) I got excited looking there xx

Hazandduck · 07/10/2017 12:15

I would love a late October baby! Gives me more time to prepare for Christmas then ha. I'm due the 11th/13th (NHS says 13th I say 11th lol) but equally I had a dream baby came early last night and had to have an operation and it was horrible! I also am working until October the 20th so really, really want time to prepare the house when I am on mat leave and just read lots and chill out before baba comes. I am late for everything so everybody keeps telling me the baby will be early to catch me unawares! X

gosteady · 07/10/2017 17:49

Hi ladies, not due for 6 weeks but keep having random sharp pains down low. Around my cervix I suppose, is this likely just baby putting pressure on? They literally last seconds.

GingerHanna · 08/10/2017 06:48

@gosteady sounds like normal baby having good a poke around, I wouldn't worry. (I get it quite regularly as he's been firmly head down for some time).

lydiangel83 · 08/10/2017 07:27

@izzibee29 I updated spreadsheet :) I am due 1/11 just over 3 wks left!! They do a sweep at 38 wks as standard in my area so will see how I feel then, baby may be even earlier!!

Motherhippy16 · 08/10/2017 08:08

It's all getting very real now ladies.... had my antenatal class with the midwife yesterday...my dh actually enjoyed it which was wonderful and feel a lot better about what to do in Labour, how to take care of myself and what the hospital can offer etc. Just want to be on maternity leave now so I can nest and make the house ready without having to focus so much attention on work! Much love to all. X
