He's now watching Grand Designs with the cat. Think they both in huff cos I ignoring them. I was supposed to be out at a fab party tonight but have spent day in agony with pelvis so DH has gone without me.

I have retaliated by eating all of the Ben and Jerry's and Haagen Daz out of the freezer! feel a bit sick now really...

derlor · 29/03/2007 21:29

oh nasty i am so glad i don't have any animals. well, actually we have 2 goldfish but they dont fart at least i haven't noticed the bubbles!!
catkin - GQ man i know who you mean - never thought of him like that though - interesting

OP posts:
catkin555 · 29/03/2007 21:31

Our goldfish is an attention seeking lunatic who flips himself against side of bowl to make noises. He also loves it when the cats drink out of his bowl as he swims underneath their tongues so he gets licked by them. Freak.

derlor · 29/03/2007 21:34

think he sounds sexually frustrated - maybe you should buy him a 'special friend'

My cat used to suck the tip of his tail when he was a kitten and had no fur on it for ages. Irrelevant I know, but that's me!
Am off to bed, feel too crap to wait up for DH in one of his work-rages (definately a Ramsey day...)
If I disappear panic not - computer is sometimes pain in btm and will not turn on. Also I may have premature birth (I bloody hope not, cot still in loft...)
Thanks for being nice to me today.

derlor · 29/03/2007 22:20

goodnight mummy - sleep well.

OP posts:
hollyandtheeasterbunny · 29/03/2007 22:23

You all must think I'm a right saddo!! I don't sit on here all day, honest! I just don't switch the computer off so can sit and chat when I get the chance. You guys all make me laugh and brighten my days, it's nice to be able to talk to some grown ups. My dd is very nice and funny, but she is somewhat lacking in conversation, unless you want to talk about doggies, Each Peach Pear Plum, her dinner or colouring in!

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 29/03/2007 22:24

And on that note I shall be off to bed! Sleep well x

Daisybump · 29/03/2007 22:31

Talk to you all in the morning then...off to dream about sexy celebrities...or maybe my DH as I could use a cuddle from him at the moment!

catkin555 · 30/03/2007 08:50

Good morning !
Hope everyone slept well!!

Just wanted to get in a quick hello before work starts.

Have just found out that a colleague who thought she had appendicitis yesterday is actually pregnant and having her baby today!!! And she didn't know!!

Bless her. We're taking the kids out for Easter Lunch so think we'll pick her up a few bits and pieces cos she'll have nothing. I really can't imagine being in that situation....

Anyway, hope you all have a lovely day and look forward to hearing from you when I come back later!!

catkin555 · 30/03/2007 08:52

And I remembered about another sexy celebrity with not much hair!! Phil Spencer from Location, Location, Location Yummy man.

derlor · 30/03/2007 08:58

good morning - OMG how can you NOT know you are pg???? i just don't get that. i feel like i have an alien inside me at the moment - baby is sooooooo active. once again HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW - I JUST DON'T GET IT??????
anyway, what a nightmare i thiught i was unorganised least i have most of the stuff we need although it's up the loft it's only a strong man away!!
Phil Spencer mmmmmm don't like his voice though but i could just gag him!!!

OP posts:
hollyandtheeasterbunny · 30/03/2007 09:03

Good morning!! Not knowing you are pg , I don't get it either! Maybe it's coz I am roughly the size of a hippo and get horrendous ms that I couldn't help but notice!

I hate Phil's voice too, so annoying!

auntymandy · 30/03/2007 09:06

mmmmmmmmmm I wonder why my stomache is so huge and why it feels like a herd of elephants are tap dancing inside?
I wonder if its wind, or maybe I have eaten a watermelon whole!!!!!

catkin555 · 30/03/2007 09:12

I quite like his voice!!

I know what you mean about the tap dancing elephants.... Also the odd shapes he's making in my skin when a little hand or foot (or elbow/knee!) pokes out!

derlor · 30/03/2007 09:14

ok i'm so intriuged by this woman i am going to ask all my very non politically correct questions so here goes (sorry if i insult anyone but i am confused!)

  1. is she very overweight and can't notice a baby inside her?
  2. is she usually breathless?
  3. has she got swollen ankles?
  4. does her stomach naturally jump about and have bits sticking out of it?
  5. does she not have regular periods?
  6. is she regularly constipated?
  7. does she regularly feel like she has a hot pocker up her fanjo when walking?
  8. does she feel tired, grumpy and VERY emotional normally?
  9. does she usually need to roll over onto her side and kick her legs to get up off a couch?
  10. HOW DID SHE NOT KNOW??????????????????
OP posts:
auntymandy · 30/03/2007 09:17

although afriend told me her friend didnt know until 7 months!!! How!!!!!!

I have pretty symptomless pregnancies but am huge and baby is active, no way could I not tell..or someone would have told me!!!

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 30/03/2007 09:18

11)Is it normal for her to puke every day for weeks?
12)Does she normally "oof" when getting up from the sofa?

trace2 · 30/03/2007 09:18

hi just wanted to thank the ladies who came on my thread yesterday! i didnt post on here as am fed up with only posting bad news and i didnt want to spoil the thread.

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 30/03/2007 09:19

There was a girl on Vanessa (!!!) a few months ago that was pg with twins and didn't know! She was tiny and the babies were 5lb each! Durhhh!!

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 30/03/2007 09:21

(((hugs))) to you trace!! We are here for good news, bad news and general ranting.

derlor · 30/03/2007 09:25

Holy i am actually MORE shocked at you watching Vanessa that the crazy muppet 'didn't realise i was pg' girl!!!!!!!
anyway to change the subject my dd (who was very very hot and unwell 2 nights ago) is now covered in little blotchy spots maybe the chick pox monster is lurking in our house.
trace - hope you are feling a bit better today.

OP posts:
derlor · 30/03/2007 09:27

holy pmsl at your 'oof' comment that is SOOOO true. remember that monica sellis woman that played tennis - she grunted like that EVERY time she hit the ball - imagine living with her when she was pg

OP posts:
hollyandtheeasterbunny · 30/03/2007 09:27

Oh no, hope it's not chicken pox!

It was the one and only time I watched Vanessa and I only watched it because I saw the preview after GMTV and I wanted to know how this little girl didn't notice she was pg!

derlor · 30/03/2007 09:31

yeah she is sitting right beside me but i swear every time i look at her the spots are worse. hopefully just a viral rash but we'll see.
