SOSPL - different things, just to cause confusion! We just found out that DH's friend's SIL dies last weekend after a long illness, she was only 28.

Octo - tell your DH it was a Passat!! We don't have a middle name yet so we were mildly tempted ! Pretty comfortable actually - think I was leaning over and hanging onto the steering wheel! Apart from the postman, there were loads of secondary school kids on their way to school - walking past, looking embarassed (I was too out of it to care!).

Katy - DH is not smelly. Not sure he ever was but the shared house had a definite whiff of boy about it.

Forgot to say earlier sorry about DH friend's SIL. An old work friend of my DH died suddenly a few weeks ago. He was only 27 and it was very sudden. It hit DH harder than I expected. Time and big hugs should help though.

opinions - yes, I know! We (was living with DH) had a few nights out in Headingley (about 5) and then we decided we really needed to go out in Leeds just before we left. Think we went for a meal and a few drinks - really painted the town red!
My other night out was meeting up with a friend who was visiting and was a lot more drunken!

Glad your DH isn't smelly! Know what you mean about shared houses though - DH lived in a couple in Newcastle (we were 'mature' students in Leeds) and they were awful. As in, don't walk on the carpet awful.

Someone mentioned something ages ago about setting up a private yahoo group for posting pics etc, does anyone want to/know how to do this or is everyone happy to post baby pics on their profiles, even if only just for a day or so before removing them again? I have to see all baby pics

My sister (and my mum and dad for that matter) went to university in leeds and i went out with her up there a couple of times. Loved it

Yeah, I think baby photos on profiles for a day or so should be fine - I'm happy with that anyway, tho will understand if others aren't.
