Sorry x posts Nelly. Enjoy you snooze!

runnyhabbit · 27/03/2007 10:31

Morning all

Good luck to 1b3 for the section

Octo - hope monitoring goes ok

Nutty - my doc told me I could take solpaedeine (sp?) during pregnancy as long as it wasn't long term iyswim

Birdie - our dishwasher has had it too one of the hinges has gone, and its only 2 years old. Currys won't do anything about it, so dh has managed to temporarily fix it, but I can't open the door fully. We really need to get a new one - just another expense we can do without.

Nellyhel - me and my mum have had the same conversation as your dh and mil! We've decided that the ideal time for this lo to come would next Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. We're going for a homebirth, but because she doesn't work a Wednesday, if ds woke up during labour, she could have him, leaving dh to concentrate on me

CB - lol at your 2 new arrivals

Eddas - lol at your dd, bless her

Ellie - sorry to hear of your man trouble (and you too Pesha) do you mind if I e-mail you my phone number too? x

Need to get a blind for the dining area window today. We've got a living/dining room & the front window already has blinds. As dh pointed out, the last thing I'll want is the window cleaner turning up at a "crucial" moment

xx

Morning ladies - Have taken me an age to get DD2 down for her nap - , shouldn't be though really as it is not her fault - just this stoopid clock change - humph! Hoping it settles down soon - not needing any change in routine this close to having the baby .....

Poor you with Jim and Gemma CB Hoipng "something (baby!!) gives" asap so you can have some much-needed relief, you poor thing. [hugs] Same goes for you with the toothache, poor nutty! [[hugs] Defintely try Bonjela and paracetamol - hope dentist can do something to help ......

Just had call from my MW and my HB (iron) levels are 11.2 That is super wonderful - so the Birthing Centre is a definite possibility - just gotta do Streb B test now .... eeeeek!! All a bit hairy ......

Hi Mars! What you doing crashing our thread, you cheeky monkey!!!!?

How is everyone else doing today?

Ooooh, CAN'T BELIEVE I nearly forgot .... hope everything goes fantasically for 1B3 with her Section today - HOW EXCITNG!! More bubbas to join WCL's little man! Wonder if it will be one of each!? Who's her buddy again? Is it nutty? Can't wait to hear happy news ....

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 27/03/2007 10:54

Hiya, CD, I am 1b3's buddy, but haven't heard any more from her as yet. I'll post as soon as I do. I think Nutty is Octo's buddy.

Octo, good luck with the monitoring btw.

Dh just called and he is coming home earlier than planned - HURRAH!!!!!
Becky and I can pick him up from the airport at 6.30 pm (he wasn't due home until 11.00 p.m.) I am over the moon and I know she will be too. She can't understand why Daddy's car is here, but he isn't (have explained he got another car to pick him up and take him to the airport), but she doesn't quite get it!

Tucking in to the Flake I postponed from last night - delicious!!

Right, must do some housework!!

Hope everyone is ok.

eca · 27/03/2007 10:59

hi loves

hope all's well octo, glad you managed to get some sleep.

nutty - would a trip to the docs about pain relief for the toothache perhaps be a good idea if dentist wont do anything?? Maybe there's something they can prescribe??

Go 1b3!!!! Exciting day for all your little family xxxxx

I had another bad night, although don't feel too rough. Seem to be wide awake in the early hours and this morning I was hungry too. I ate a punnet of strawberries and a huge bowl of museli! Usually eating in the night would make me sick so it's very wierd.

Mw is coming over this morning to talk about homebirth, so looking forward to that.

I've gone back to work this week too. (must be mad!) It's like a different job though now the weather is warm and sunny! Even the young people we're seeing are more relaxed and chatty. So I think I'm going to hang in there with it for this week and maybe next week. Am hoping all the walking will do me good and hopefully get baby into a good position! I know i'd be far to lazy to do so much walking unless someone was paying me at the moment !!!

CaptainDippy · 27/03/2007 10:59

Enjoy the Flake SOSPL - Ooooooh .... think I have some Mini Eggs left ovr from last night in the car .......

Glad DH is getting back early and you and B can go and get him - that is Yes, yes - I remember - you're 1B3's and nutty is Octo's (I get some confused - think I am part of a "Threesome" ) Ooooh, you get to hear EXCITING news 1st ..... .......

eca · 27/03/2007 11:01

SOSPL - yey glad dh is home earlier than planned. what a relief!

CaptainDippy · 27/03/2007 11:01

Katy!! Just got your cheque in the post .... will pay it in today and actually have enough money in account to buy Lambskin before it clears (!!) so will buy it today and possibly post it today, but more likely tomrorow .....

nellyhel · 27/03/2007 11:10

Had 15 minute snooze only but feel a bit more alive!

eca- if I am hungry when lying awake I HAVE to get up and eat. Have had a few 5 a.m. breakfasts and back to bed. Actually quite like the luxury of eating in peace!

All this talk of chocolate - will def need to go to shop on way home from nursery - we have none in the house and don't think I have had any for over a week! Must go now..

CaptainDippy · 27/03/2007 11:44

Glad your snooze helped Nelly! I am jsut trying to find stuff on the computer and it is driving me CRAZY - I am soooo untechnologically-minded ...... Rah!!

CaptainDippy · 27/03/2007 11:49

Finally - email sent about Bump3's hopeful Thanksgiving Service in Aug ....

Phew!!

octopussyinyummyeastereggs · 27/03/2007 11:54

Hello ((((waves))))

Back again - baby is a happy easter bunny but still nicely tucked up in his burrow! Still feeling aches and twinges but think he has settled back down and is waiting for easter chocolate to be delivered!

Off for a much needed sleep

Thinking about 1B3 - sooo excited for her!

Catch up later xoxoxox

claricebean · 27/03/2007 12:04

Welcome back octo, glad things are OK even if you have to wait a bit longer to meet your octopus.

SOSPL - good news about DH coming back early.

RH - sorry about the toothache. Hope you get it sorted.

CD - good news about the iron levels

Well Jim and Gemma are still causing me to hobble painfully between the bath and the rest of the house. Mum has gone to get DDs from school (early) so I don't have to do school run after she's gone. . DH and MIL due back here in 7 hours. Then I think I will take up permanent residency in the bath until LO is ready to put in an appearance. Will pop out (oops, not a good thought with Jim and Gem) to get news from you all though!!

Thinking of you 1b3

WestCountryLass · 27/03/2007 12:10

Not sure what is going on Octo but hope everything is OK?

And, at last we have a name.....drum roll please.....

He is Leo James

mammyjo · 27/03/2007 12:18

WCL, love Leo James, really cute name. Hope you are doing ok. How are the nights?

Octo, glad you are ok but shame you had to go through no sleep and pain and still have baby inside!!

Nutty, I had a filling when I was pregnant first time round they just used a different local anaesthetic and different filling stuff (very technical). Only problem might be lying as someone else said earlier. Hope you can get it sorted soon.

SOSPL, lie in til 8.30 is amazing. I didnt wake til half seven and thought that was late! I actually slept reasonably well overnight which is unusual for me at the moment.

1b3, thinking of you today and waiting with anticipation for news. Its so exciting!

I have a kind of urgent feeling about me today as if I have to get everything done. Have been to the bank to sort money stuff out, drawn money in case we go into hospital, stocked up on basics like loo roll and washing tabs so I dont have to think of any of it if I end up in for a few days. Do you think this may be a sign? Am onto third load of washing after stripping ds bed as dh would never think to change sheets! Maybe MIL will be right and it will be here tomorrow! Would like her to be wrong, but wouldnt say no either

Tili · 27/03/2007 12:21

Bramshott has had her baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got a text
says Baby girl Orla. Born in car at 8:15 am! hopefully home later. All well

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 27/03/2007 12:22

Octo, welcome home and hope you get some rest.

Eca, amazed you are going back to work! Good on you, but don't overdo it.

WCL, what a lovely name - Leo James. Really like that!!!

Nothing to report here. Feel fuzzy headed and a bit out of sorts as I did yesterday. Think it is tiredness. May have a nap later on, although have said will pop in to work and pick up the bits that our lovely receptionist has knitted for the lo! Cue tears I expect!

No news yet from 1b3.

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 27/03/2007 12:24
