Congratulations WCL!!!! Also said with tears in my eyes! Reminded me why I was up for two hours last night and now I don't feel so fed up. Am delighted for you and hope it all went as you planned.

So exciting, hope the babies are coming along like (SMALL) buses very soon!

Yeh it will hurt loads and will get worse every hour. Paracetemol won't touch it and the contractions get closer and closer. I'm hoping for a quick labour this time.

I also recommend Aptimil - very good for top-up feeding.

I want all that chocolate! Buying Easter eggs etc. for all next week and must not be tempted to eat them while I'm home alone......

CONGRATULATIONS WCL - I'm sitting here in front of the PC with the biggest smile on my face - glad that the labour and delivery went well - the real excitement is now beginning. Like the rest of the ladies your birth story has made things a bit more real and I definitely need to sort out my hospital bag this week and somewhere for the baby to sleep.

just a quick pop in to say a huge congrats to WCL and your family on the safe arrival of LO. It was a lovely birth story Im really pleased that it all went to plan

I am slightly though

Midwife came today baby has turned to head down YAY!! but I have to see her again next week to check again as this is my second and he hasnt gone into the pelvis yet so there is a slight possibility he could turn arond again.Please everyone send this baby "head down at all times" vibes!! I am hoping that now he is head down he has seen the exit and thought to himself that he may appear slightly early like in another 2 weeks

Oh well off to bed night all see you tomorrowxx

Where is the f'ing contraction timer link when you need one or EllieK to linkit for me??!! Still having regular contractions - dh gone to sleep - can't get comfy or to sleep so come downstairs for hot choc and hope change in position will determine whether real or false labour! Now about every 5 minutes but still not sure - am going to use mn clock for abit - oooh there comes one now 12.53 ...

Hugs to 1B3 and Oogs. 1B3 - I hope next time you go to the hospital you get a totally different experience and some very considerate staff who see you promptly. Your experience the other day was horrendous.

I've had a busy weekend (NCT classes all day Friday and Saturday - very worthwhile), went to Mamma Mia on the Friday night, went for a 4 hour walk with DH today! You'd think I'd be able to sleep but - no - it is 1 a.m. and I'm messing around on MN!

Hope for your sakes no one else is up with insomnia. Sweet dreams everyone!
