Oooh Creme eggs. My favourite at the moment is Flakes - cannot get enough.

Mmmm plasterboard, I could kind of relate to that. It's got the same kind of appeal as chalk. I think I can understand the appeal (no really). Am trying to confine myself to toothpaste, chewing gum and ice cubes at the moment though, although I'd be in 7th heaven if someone left me in a petrol station right now. Or next to some road re-surfacing (hot tarmac). Yum.

WCL - sounds like you had the model birth, well done to you, am so pleased it all went so well for you. How wonderful that your dcs could wake up and meet their new baby brother.

WCL, thanks for letting us know the story. I'm pleased it all went so well and good luck on agreeing a name.
Well, after that busy day I might have an early night

Oh, and in the creme egg / mini egg debate I vote for creme eggs - only slightly have the edge though

Right, am off to bed now. Need all my strength as dh off at the crack of Dawn to Ireland, and not back home until 11.00 pm on Tuesday! Hell!! B will be at preschool, but it is the dreaded bath/bed routine taht I find so hard, and even worse when 8 months pg and bloody uncomfortable! Hey ho. I know loads of you do it on your own every night, so I'll stop whinging.

Sleep well all. I wonder if there will be any birth announcements waiting for us tomorrow morning???

Have gone off chocolate. What's wrong with me? Otherwise I'd be well up for a chocolate challenge .

Ellie/katy - does this mean we can now officially start an (not sure of the correct terminology) after the ante-natal thread. Post natal thread/births in april typ thread???????????

Report
EllieK · 25/03/2007 21:53

on the epidural/bf front, i had an epidural and still had a plentiful supply, loved bf and had no pain, problems, nothing til matthew got so heavy i had to have physio on my shoulders! started to combination feed at about 8 weeks, and i too think nipple confusion is nonsense, plenty of exclusively bf babies take expressed milk from bottles after all.

I really do think you should just go with the flow and see how you get on, if it doesn't work, so what? at least you'll know you tried

and i don't have any bottles or formula ready, tesco is 24 hours so i need it, i'll go get it

when we did switch to formula tho we had real problems with sma, is a very rich formula i'm told

Eddas, it's fine, we might as well make the most of this last oppurtunity to stuff out faces with whatever we fancy. Like you say, will all be on health-kicks afterwards. Am quite distressed about the bingo-wings I've developed over the last few months through lack of swimming / gym. Not pretty.

EllieK · 25/03/2007 21:54

we can start a postnatal thread, buut as there'd only be WCL on it she be a bit lonely

i have updated the Stats tho

Katy44 · 25/03/2007 21:55

I did wonder when WCL would start the April PN thread - presumably when she has someone else to talk to on it! ooooh.
BTW has anyone noticed there's a Due in December thread?

and i don't know what you all think but i kinda like the idea of staying here until we've ll popped, otherwise it'll be like splitting in two or trying to follow 2 threads?
