Haha I can't believe they ask that!

dangle90 · 29/05/2017 18:54

Haha to be honest we said yes and laughed.... she wasn't too amused my guess is a lot of people do that 😂

Hi 👋🏼
How is everybody doing?
Just a bit tired and the odd bout of nausea here, nothing too bad. 7+1 today and I'm unable to see midwife for booking in until I'm 11 weeks - she's very busy!! 🙄 x

Iamchanging · 04/06/2017 16:32

Hi home bird. I'm 6 + 3 and starting to feel very nauseous now. Only been sick once though, it's only really started in the last few days. I'm also bone tired. That's so late for your midwife appointment, I'm very lucky that I have my early scan on Friday and then my booking in appointment a week later. Is time still dragging for everyone else? I just can't wait to get to 13 weeks!

JB1983 · 04/06/2017 16:56

We had our reassurance scan at 8 weeks and baby is measuring exactly right and nice strong heartbeat. DH and I were very excited and suddenly this feels real. I'm still feeling great - so a bit jammy to escaped nausea and vomiting so far.
Booking in at midwives tomorrow.

First baby due Jan 2018!
Iamchanging · 04/06/2017 16:59

Aw that's amazing JB, and what a fantastic picture! You must be over the moon. Is it starting to feel a bit more real having had that?

dangle90 · 04/06/2017 19:08

Awww so happy for you JB bet your so relieved now.
Still not really any symptoms here bit of nausea now and then but that's all. I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow so quite worried now with the lack of symptoms. Another 10 days until my scan

Exciting times JB ! I 😍
Can't wait for our first scan, I don't even know when that is...
it's nice to move on from the BFP test pics to actual scan pics, were all getting closer 👏🏼
Finding eating a bit difficult so have sent DH out to get me a chow mein, hopefully I'll be able to eat it 🤞🏼 all I fancy is junk !

Iamchanging · 04/06/2017 19:18

Is that your official scan dangle or a private one? If it helps I met up with a friend who is 17 weeks yesterday and she has had zero symptoms other than tiredness (and a bump now!)

dangle90 · 04/06/2017 19:57

It's a private one, I booked it while on holiday then when we got back we had a date for our 12 week scan so that's 2 weeks after the private one. Yeah it does help thank you. Even my sore boobs have gone now Confused.
I'm sure it will be ok but there's just that niggle at the back of my head that I can't wait to get rid of

Thanks ladies - yeah was so relieved to see our little bean, especially with the lack of symptoms.
dangle we're maybe just the lucky ones or late starters!

dangle90 · 04/06/2017 21:05

Aww it must of been so lovely JB. I will be thanking myself lucky if that's the case Grin

Iamchanging · 04/06/2017 21:24

I think it can also change very quickly. Two days ago I was googling "6 weeks and no symptoms" and today I'm running in from the car to be sick in the bathroom!

dangle90 · 04/06/2017 21:33

Oh no I am that sounds awful! Have you had it quite bad then? I can't stop googling stuff I drive myself mad!

OP posts:
Iamchanging · 05/06/2017 06:58

Hi dangle, it was quite bad yesterday. No so much the being sick but just feeling constantly nauseous. It's the same this morning, and I have a two hour drive to do ConfusedI've also had on and off sharp stabbing pains in one place in my womb / uterus for 24 hours now which is starting to scare me a bit if I'm honest.

dangle90 · 05/06/2017 07:07

Hopefully it's nothing, I've had some of them pains too that sometimes stop me in my tracks but there never constant. That drive sounds like hell! It's my first day back at work after 2 weeks off today! I really can't be bothered!

OP posts:
Rosehyd2 · 05/06/2017 16:14

I had those sharp stabbing pains really low down last night that woke me up. Only lasted 10 minutes but quite frightening! I'm 7+3 now and week 6 was by far the worst yet for nausea aching and tiredness.

Iamchanging · 05/06/2017 17:22

Aw thanks both, that makes me feel better. Roll on my scan on Friday!!!

rachy22 · 05/06/2017 17:31

Ooh so exciting to see scan pics!
Glad you're mostly all doing well - sickness doesn't sound good for you though @Iamchanging !

I booked in with the gp last week, but first appointment with the midwife might not be until 12week scan, just got to wait and see what they offer.

I'm 9+5 and have been feeling mildly nauseous quite a lot, but eating helps, so I can see I'm going to be putting on a lot of weight! other than that just very tired - could hardly keep my eyes open all afternoon at work. But will be pretty happy if this is all I get *touch wood

dangle90 · 05/06/2017 17:47

I've had pains in my left side all day today :/ feel so worried but don't know what to do, hate not knowing what's normal and what's not

OP posts:
Iamchanging · 05/06/2017 18:44

I've had them for two days on my right side now dangle. I'm just hoping it's everything stretching, placenta growing etc

dangle90 · 05/06/2017 20:03

Mine have eased off now, so hoping the same as you iam. Hope you feel better soon x

OP posts:
Iamchanging · 06/06/2017 15:41

Well the cramps have gone but the nausea is worse than ever. Strange think is that I don't really mind it though as it makes the pregnancy feel more real! 2 more working days until my scan!
