Hope you had a good holiday CD

Hey everyone, Well DH saw his consultant today and it looks like he's going to have to be in the UK for a week's treatment for another week. Aaahhhhh. He's very positive about it as this should theoretically fix the problem, but I am 37 weeks today, so a bit nervous!!! Still, I've never gone into labour before 39 + 2...yet.

AngeG · 14/03/2007 21:11

Can't believe how quiet it is tonight

CaptainDippy · 14/03/2007 21:14

Hi Ange and Clarice!!!

Keep your legs crossed Clarice honey - hoping the treatment is a success and your DH can get back to you soon!

CaptainDippy · 14/03/2007 21:15

I am 35 weeks tomorrow - My waters went at 35 weeks with my last PG -

AngeG · 14/03/2007 21:15

Hi Clarice sorry to hear your DH will have to spend a week here having treatment. Hope it sorts things out. Fingers and everything crossed you don't go into labour before he gets back.

AngeG · 14/03/2007 21:17

Fingers and everything for you too CD no leaking waters allowed.

36+3 today...3 weeks today I should have my baby

CaptainDippy · 14/03/2007 21:18

Claricebean, hope all goes well and your DH is back before you go into labour

CaptainDippy · 14/03/2007 21:25

Thank you katy - How's you??

Pesha · 14/03/2007 21:26

My dd is famous Well, famous in south somerset anyway, from the back.
All council tax bills have been sent out with a booklet 'explaining your bill' and she is on the front cover. Picture of her walking away from camera at Ham Hill. So every single house in south somerset will get a pic of my dd!! Although I received mine earlier and didnt even loOk at it just put it straight in the reycling box (the leaflet not my bill!) SO DIDNT KNOW SHE WAS ON IT TILL MY SISTER TOLD ME [BLUSH] oh sorry, didnt mean to shout. Its cos my sister works for council as a countryside ranger type person and they wanted some pics of people with children at ham hill last summer. Didnt know what they'd be used for though

Katy44 · 14/03/2007 21:27

Fine, thanks for asking, counting down the days until ML - 6 working days left!
I'm off all of next week so will probably end up on MN from morning to night!

Katy44 · 14/03/2007 21:28

Pesha - wow, is she excited?
Can't believe you put yours in the recycling bin! Hope your sister will let you have hers

CaptainDippy · 14/03/2007 21:28

Awwww, you must be so proud!!

CaptainDippy · 14/03/2007 21:29

Didn't I say I was going to go and do stuff.....

AngeG · 14/03/2007 21:29

Awww Pesha how exciting...shame on you not recognising her from the back

Katy44 · 14/03/2007 21:30

You've been sucked in...

AngeG · 14/03/2007 21:30

Yes CD you did..go on off you go

Katy44 · 14/03/2007 21:33

OK, this is a really stupid question, but when can I expect to see body parts sticking out of my bump? I'm 34 weeks - is it still too soon? I'm really looking forward to it!

Katy44 · 14/03/2007 21:34

Next stupid question - what do I need in the way of bedding for my moses basket and cot? Nowhere seems to sell it! Do I just need the matress cover and that's it?

AngeG · 14/03/2007 21:41

I never saw body parts sticking out last time and I only got to 34wks. I can feel body parts at the moment but can't generally see them sticking out I'm 36+3.

For Moses basket and Cot you need a bottom sheet - fitted or flat and then it depends on whether you're using grobags or blankets/sheets?

oooggs · 14/03/2007 21:42

Hi all - No babies yet..... I am suprised!!

Mammyjo - I have replied to your email now
hope you are feeling better

Katy - I have been seeing bodies parts for weeks, but then there is double of them

Had a scan this morning and twins are fine, but left feeling really low and down at their current predicted weights (6lb 8oz & 7lb 9oz) also first appt without dh for support. They are still letting me head towards my due date (am 36 weeks tomorrow) I am very tired, heavy & uncomfortable.

EllieK · 14/03/2007 21:43

hi all, that was one exciting meeting

oooggs · 14/03/2007 21:43

also my waters went at 36+1 with ds and I had him at 36+3, looks like I will be carrying the twins longer than my singleton . I know the longer they stay in the better, but I am the one carrying them.

1B3 - do you have a date yet?
