EllieK · 15/03/2007 14:30

you are gonna be unbearable by the time you go a week overdue

geordiemacminx · 15/03/2007 14:30

oooh thats exciting WCL!!!!

I'm cool - enjoying maternity leave - although think I'm doing a wee bit too much, need to chill out a bit else I'll end up poorly!!!

Just wish he would hurry up and come... which is very naughty since I'm not 34 weeks til tuesday - a couple of weeks would be nice though!!

Tried to catch up but have failed miserably!!

EllieK · 15/03/2007 14:31

welcome back WO

WestCountryLass · 15/03/2007 14:31

Must confess to having periody type twinges and feeling like my undercarriage might drop out at any point but not uncommon for 38 weeks.

Don't get too excited Octo, I am sure it'll be a non-starter get ready to blow me a raspberry if nothing has happened by Monday!

octopussyintummy · 15/03/2007 14:34

I know I am going to go overdue - I just know it - dh thinks will be three days late on the 18th - only because he thinks all babies are due on wednesdays and they are either all late or early

Hello WO - nice to see you - glad dooby is on her way home xoxox

I need to go find something to do!

muminabigtumi · 15/03/2007 14:34

Oh no one is allowed to have a baby before I get back!!! stamps feet

MAveta - if someone does give birth would you text me please to let me know as I'll have my phone with me - thank you!!!

1b3 - Happy Birthday

Octo and Ellie- lmao re trees and boring village meetings - just think yourselves lucky...the gossip in our village today is quite diferent entirely - 2 lads were stabbed outside the local shops the night before last - it is really shocking when something like that happens right on your front door step. It's the kind of thing you always think happens somewhere else....

Ooogs and 1b3 - echo all the comments re how well you are both doing. You shoudl be immensley proud of yourselves.

CD - nice to see you and glad you had a good holiday - how annoying re the airline needing the letter on the way back!!! Idiots.
You take it easy and don't be doing too much.

SOSPL - hope you enjoyed your lunch!!!

Welcome back GMM!

Thinking of everyone else - mind is like a big seive...Hi Katy and Yvie and AngeG, mammyjo, maveta, glitterkitty, flumpootle, eca, runny and Bramshott ...I know you've all posted and I haven't replied individually but I am thinking of you all...and everyone else!!
Off to put feet up for a bit....now am officially pregnant lady of leisure! lol

octopussyintummy · 15/03/2007 14:35

Don't be a party pooper WCL - we're counting on you

muminabigtumi · 15/03/2007 14:36

Ahhhh hug Welcome back Weeonion!
xxxx

EllieK · 15/03/2007 14:40

MIABT, you're right of course, i am very grateful that my village is so sleepy, it is a HUGE shock when things happen so close to home

EllieK · 15/03/2007 14:43

look at this thread

runnyhabbit · 15/03/2007 14:50

Just a quick one (who am I kidding )

back from AN appt - all well, lo head is still down (yay) but out of all the mw team, I saw the one I don't particularly like. She's pleasant enough but I don't feel I can chat to her, like I can the others. Just hope its not her on call when this lo comes, think I'd be liable to slap her mid contraction

got to go - ds awaits my attention

duchesse · 15/03/2007 14:54

Since you'll all start dropping babies soon, I thought I'd drop by and say good luck! Spring babies are nice.

EllieK · 15/03/2007 14:55

thanks duchesse, how are you?
none of us have sprogged yet, octo is getting very bored of waiting!

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 15/03/2007 14:58

Hi all.

Glitterkitty, I am sorry you are having the additional stress of having a fibroid. What a pain. I hope you are ok. Hugs to you.

Welcome back GMM.

WO, thanks for the update re Dooby.

WCL - how careless to lose your mucus plug!!!

MIABT, congrats on starting your lat leave. Enjoy the hen weekend.

Have just got back from a very long lunch, and it was lovely thanks. Half an hour to go until home time, and dh working at home today which is great.

Lots of love to everyone else!

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 15/03/2007 15:00

Duchesse, hello flower. Hope you are well. Really lovely to see you. x

1becomes3 · 15/03/2007 15:31

Oh what a fantastic birthday

I'm out! my battery on my phone went dead this morning before the scan, did tell dh to bring my charger in but he is useless so he forgot.

WARNING- Big moan coming on

I am so pissed off with our hospital, I was in twicwe last week complaining about my swelling, on the night before i was due to see my consultant I went in and got a check up as i was worried about possible pre-eclampsia, then the next day when I was ude to see my consultant I had to see his registra in stead who I told about the swelling aswell, he was just in a rush to get onto the next person so hurried me thorugh.
Then when I saw my consultant yesterday I told him about the swelling and he popped me up on the bed measured my legs and got me straight in to have a scan first thing.
He asked me how long Ihad had the swelling for and i told him about a week, he then had a go at me for not telling anyone I let him know that I did and they didn't seem to give a shit, he then told me he was going to "kill" his registra because he didn't even write it in my notes that i had mentioned it he had done as little as possible the WANKER.

Anyway had a lovely night with no sleep last night then woken up at 6.30 to have my bloods taken, monitored for an hour (I hate being monitored it is so uncomfertable)
then aroung 9 o'clock went and had my leg scanned for possible blood colts.

Thank god it was all clear

Then i had to wait 2 hours for the dumb arse registra to come and see me to discharge me, and he was not happy with me and I was not happy with him.
I was too tired to have a go at him for not doing his job properly and I am guessing from his half arsed appology that he had had a telling off from my consultant.

So........................I'm Ok i don't have DVT I am just a circus freak with one leg bigger than the other and they don't know why.

What a super birthday, i haven't caught up on the thread as I need sleep and i havent check my sp or typing on this post so sorry for all the mistakes.

I will be back on tomorrow

Hope you are all ok. [[hgus]]]

muminabigtumi · 15/03/2007 15:33

x

EllieK · 15/03/2007 15:36

sleep 1b3, they are men (presumption i know ), we have to expect them to be useless!

bubblez · 15/03/2007 16:41

Hello all,

Haven't caught up on the thread yet just finished reading 1b3's post....grrrr @ the hospitals incompetance, happy bday for whenever it was though hun and I hope you get yourself some well earned sleep.

Haven't been on for a while been busy getting the last min bits for my hospital bag (just incase i end up having to go in).

Have also been busy having nervous breakdown about my bloody bathroom tap leaking through to the sitting room ceiling... My tight-fisted landlady doesn't ever get back to my agent and all repares end up being put on hold for the longest time pos. We need new taps (according to two plummers) but all we have received is a temporary patch up job which means I can't, turn on the tap too fast, hard or tighten it too much.... great!!

Nervous breakdown and intermittant bawling aside I'm doing ok....

Been having drops in blood preasure apparently caused by me getting too hot and overexhurting(sp)...

Baby is head down and to the midwife's shock 3/5s engaged already!! (With mia they told me at 38wks she was 3/5s and at 39wks I had her) I'm only 36wks+3days now!!

Anyone else engaged yet or nearly engaged yet??

Off to catch up as much as I can before shopping..

36+3
