Congratulations rise, gorgeous baby and photo! That's a lovely photo too jenny, I love getting pictures of my gang altogether.
Here we are currently dressing him in a vest, babygro and a folded-over cellular blanket at night. He's not quite big enough for the grobag yet.
Good luck today for everyone getting twinges!

McBaby · 14/05/2017 12:40

40+6 today. Bad contractions and pressure yesterday evening 5 mins apart. Triage admitted me due to previous fast labours but only bed available was on the post natal ward. The moment I got up there they stopped. I then had to fight for and hour to be discharged and had to sign a self discharge form. Nothing since so I know I was right but very frustrated and scared of going to hospital again. Who wants to labour on a postnatal ward surrounded by screaming babies!!

McBaby · 14/05/2017 12:45

That also put me down as being 39+2 days which is why I feel they didn't take me seriously!

MissMooMoo · 14/05/2017 13:02

Congrats to all the new mummies, lovely baby photos!
I did far too much exercise yesterday! I went to pilates in the morning and came home for a nap and then DH and I went out to the pub to see a few friends/birthday drinks for one of them. I did A LOT of walking. Had cramps all last night whilst watching eurovision but they didn't come to anything.
Really sore today but suspect its just from pilates/walking yesterday.
39+4 and so desperately want this baby to give me some indication that they will be here shortly.

newbieho · 14/05/2017 13:05

Newbie boy was born today at 06.37am via assisted delivery with barely any pain relief. I arrived to the hospital 4-5 cm dilated and 6 hours later we said hello to our little one. I am knackered and catch up on the new posts later on.

MrsJW15 · 14/05/2017 13:13

Congratulations @newbieho!

stationaryace · 14/05/2017 13:16

Baby girl was born at 3.30pm on Friday Grin supposed to be having a nap atm while dh takes the older one swimming but lying here wide awake staring at her.

Tkmaxx do some nice sleeping bags for a similar price. I still use one for my toddler as she insists on bag and blanket/duvet in her bed, and if it keeps her sleeping all night who am I to say no!

teainbed · 14/05/2017 13:24

Congratulations @newbieho and @stationaryace !

@McBaby that sounds very frustrating.

PeachIcedT · 14/05/2017 13:37

Congratulations @newbieho !! Those contractions came out good then hope you can get some good rest in now and enjoy cuddles with your baby boy!

@stationaryace congratulations on your baby too, I can imagine a lot of just gazing at the cute new bundle must be done for quite some time.

teainbed · 14/05/2017 16:50

Congratulations @mrscrocopop !

Autumnsweater · 14/05/2017 17:06

So lovely to see everyone's babies! Sorry been MIA for a while, struggling to catch up (seem to be in my own little world on mat leave but finding it very relaxing!).

39+1 and so excited to meet my baby soon, no proper signs yet.. hope I'm not too overdue as had to finish work early than planned and would rather more time with baby at the other end.. know they come when they are ready to though. Booked in for sweep at 40 weeks and bouncing ball furiously in meantime!

PeachIcedT · 14/05/2017 17:16

Congratulations @mrscrocopop lovely news!

Today is my due date, have been gardening, hoovering, out for a walk, eaten a load of pineapple but she is clearly too comfy. I am wondering if the stabby cervix pains last night were signs her head may be engaging a little more though.

Sipperskipper · 14/05/2017 17:20

Congratulations mrscrocopop - wonderful news!

4 mile walk hasn't done anything to get thid baby moving!

1004Rise · 14/05/2017 18:24

Random hospital observation, am I the only one that thinks it's odd to go off and leave your newborn in their cot while you disappear to another part of the building?

CoxsOrangePippin · 14/05/2017 18:31

newbieho, stationaryace, mrscrocopop congratulations! So lovely to learn about this trio of babies today. Well done you.

1004Rise · 14/05/2017 18:34

Congratulations @newbieho and @stationaryace definitely a large proportion of my time over the past day has been taken up by staring in wonder!

teainbed · 14/05/2017 18:42

@1004Rise definitely odd though there does seem to be a minority who do it. Hmm

FoxMulder · 14/05/2017 18:43

Yeah, that is weird rise. Why does that happen?

FoxMulder · 14/05/2017 18:46

Trying to remember what I did when I had to go to the loo when DS was born. I think DH was there Confused
