Ugh guys, I thought morning sickness was worse if you didn't eat? Mine always starts after lunch HmmConfused

BirdBrain85 · 16/04/2017 15:03

Leigh Cogratulations! I'm six weeks now, but I remember thinking for ages that my boobs weren't sore (yet everything says it's one of the first symptoms) and then suddenly they were! Like someone had put lead in them haha. It probably started at about 5 weeks for me xx

leighdinglady · 16/04/2017 15:06

Thanks bird that's good to know! I'm going to be a right anxious state until the 12 week scan this time around. I just want all the symptoms to kick in. I'll regret that!

I am shattered though. I remember last time feeling almost drugged as well

MaryShelley1818 · 16/04/2017 16:13

Ahh Bluebell...yep it's very exciting isn't it?! I know I'll regret it but I'm wishing for morning sickness at the moment...anything that will make it all seem more 'real'.
I can't decide whether to have an early scan or not...is 7wks the normal? Will I see a heartbeat by then?

Angielka · 16/04/2017 16:34

Anyone else been throwing up the Easter eggs today? Confused

Welcome to all the newcomers!

leighdinglady · 16/04/2017 17:01

MaryShelly I had a scan at 7 weeks last time and I saw a heartbeat. I'm not going to pay for one this time though. I'm planning on BEGGING the midwife to let me go have one considering our first pregnancy ended disastrously in January. It might help calm me down.

MaryShelley1818 · 16/04/2017 17:22

Thanks Leighdinglady...I might just book one. DP would definitely love to see baby so early (I know it'll just be a blob! Lol).
I'm just so so anxious, I worry every day that my relative lack of symptoms means I'm not pregnant really and I'll have just been wrong this whole time (despite 6 positive pregnancy tests and no AF!).

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 16/04/2017 18:16

I've got really bad cramping ☹️☹️☹️

Carlotta82248 · 16/04/2017 18:18

Hey All!

Stats
Age 34
1st baby
2nd pregnancy, 5wk early misc in Dec
4+5 EDD 19/12/17

Not many symptoms here either, some breast tenderness, tiredness, a touch psychotic and some teeny waves of nausea xxx

Lixon · 16/04/2017 18:18

Hello leighdinglady- very very nice to see you here if you remember me from the tfmr threads, we went through the same just after you so I know just how you feel. Massive congratulations and I really hope everything works out for you this time round. My gp referred me for an early scan - just called the EPU immediately when i when to get referred so definitely worth a shot and I hope you get one...

I also saw a heartbeat at 7w last time despite measuring a week behind.

Sorry you're still sick Angiekla, is there anything you can keep down?

Ive officially spent the whole afternoon in bed and not doing the work I was meant to, oops!!

MontyPants · 16/04/2017 18:33

Hi all,
Hope it's ok to join? From my last AF I'm 7 weeks tomorrow, which makes my EDD 4th December. Although I had an early scan yesterday, which put my due date at 5/6th Dec. Feeling the nausea at the moment. Has been particularly bad at night, and it doesn't help that I work a lot of night shifts! This is my first pregnancy, me and DH were trying for about a year. Told a couple of people at work (because I had to due to what I do). I think my mum knows, but she won't ask. She knows we've been trying, so I can't wait to tell her. Waiting for the 12 week scan, and they will surprise her with the scan pic. Congratulations to all the other December mums!

leighdinglady · 16/04/2017 18:37

lixon! Congratulations to you too! Who would have thought we'd both be lucky enough to be here so soon. Hopefully our luck will continue this time round. How far along are you? I'm only 4.3. You've managed to see a GP already? Where I am you have to self refer for the midwives, who won't see you until 7 weeks

BirdBrain85 · 16/04/2017 18:40

Battenberg bless you try not to panic, I had so much cramping week 4ish and all okay. Maybe put your feet up and have a rest for a bit if you can xx

Congrats to all the newbies! Will have a proper read through later. Sat down for Easter dinner right now but feeling sick Sad

Chamonix1 · 16/04/2017 18:41

Feedmyfacewithbattenburge
Just cramping ? No blood?
Some cramping/stretchy feelings in early pregnancy can be normal.
Hope you're okay though, take it easy Smile

Chamonix1 · 16/04/2017 18:42

Congratulations newbies also Grin
Monty my due date is Dec 4th too!

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 16/04/2017 18:50

No blood. Just very very strong pains all down lower in my abdo in left hand side.
About 7/10 painful.
I'm at work but currently 1:1 a patient so able to sort of rest x

BirdBrain85 · 16/04/2017 18:54

Ooh are you a nurse too Battenberg? I had a lot of aches, and this week ligament pain that scared me half to death. Hopefully it will be transient for you and you'll feel a lot better soon. It's all such a worry at this stage xx

Beardy1 · 16/04/2017 19:05

feedmyface I was the same just at period due date for a good week. Kept thinking my period would come as it felt just like period pain cramps. It has passed now

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 16/04/2017 19:07

@BirdBrain85 I am yup!
I know a little bit about babies because I became an Aunty in June 2016, but nothing about pregnancy because this is my first one! If I was MCing I would be distraught!

MaryShelley1818 · 16/04/2017 19:11

FeedmyFace I have had very strong and painful cramping all last week on and off...I've been reassured that it's perfectly normal and just stretching and movement x

Lixon · 16/04/2017 19:17

I'm just over 5w - waiting for scan to confirm exactly as I had lots of spotting at the start of my last period. I saw the GP a week ago - we're living an hour from home while we get a renovation done so squeezed in an appointment when we had a site visit. My gp was amazing during tfmr and is also pregnant herself so knows how it feels I guess. We can't self refer here but I've had my midwife appointment through for the same as my scan date (25 April) already so it's pretty efficient. I hope the midwife system works well for you, they must understand what an anxious time this is.

I hope the cramps stop soon battenberg, im sure they're nothing to worry about but it's so nerve wracking..

Welcome Carlotta and montypants Smile

lovecreameggs · 16/04/2017 19:28

I've been at mils all day today, we aren't saying anything until after 12 weeks at least (if I can hide it, second pregnancy means my tummy isn't going to be as easy to hide this time!) and she kept on offering me wine and so I say to dh "well who is driving today?" Hoping he'll say I should. And he looks at me blankly and says "oh I don't mind". Idiot! So I've had to make up excuses and then she hasn't offered any other drinks so I've been really thirsty!

yummymummy0620 · 16/04/2017 19:53

Hello can I join you please?

POAS 13/04 after realising in Boots the previous day I hadn't bought women's week pads, whilst in the aisle I realised I hadn't actually had women's week yet! 😂 Nipped into Poundland and bought the 3 pack sticks and got what I thought was a faint positive... will attach photo! Re tested and posted in Conception and was reassured it was a BFP (see photo on right)

Anyhow

I'm 34 (35 in May)
In a LTR with my fella of 14yrs

GnTea · 16/04/2017 20:45

Hello! Just joining... I'm set for a mid December due date. This will be my second baby. Feel fine at the moment but that could be because a toddler is an excellent distraction. Feel sick today... But that could be the Easter eggs.
Top tip for anyone suffering bloating... Try Rennie deflatine. Works like a dream x

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 16/04/2017 20:48

Ooh I haven't done any stats yet (I don't think.. but tbh. My memory is rubbish!!!)
Age: 25
1st pregnancy
1st baby
EDD: 11th December

Completely unplanned and unprepared with a few medical issues thrown in but I will hold my breath and see how I go!
Smile
