I feel so sorry for all of you who are being sick, although I'm wondering why I'm not!? I have gagged several times and felt nausesous but that's it. Hmm!

Managed to survive work. Need to pick up some dinner and you've all got me craving sausage and mash now haha Smile

BirdBrain85 · 20/04/2017 16:50

Carlotta we posted similar things! Only I'm 6+5 and not vomiting haha. I have other symptoms though so I'll just cling to those...

Marie90 · 20/04/2017 16:56

Bird I'm the same. I'm 6+3 and no throwing up yet! Dreading what's to come though...

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 20/04/2017 17:13

Eurgh!
I might see if DP wants to go for a Nando's or MCD tonight... just to get over the disappointment of my cherry bakewell bars you understand 😜
Nando's is my BIGGEST craving (along with ice cream...) Grin

Mrsbluebell17 · 20/04/2017 17:39

Battenburg it was a Nando's that sorted me out at lunch today. I haven't been sick yet but started getting like a nauseous sickly feeling just hanging around in the background throughout the day!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 20/04/2017 17:42

6+4 and other than feeling a bit dizzy in spin class today (so I stopped) I feel totally normal again (after 2 weeks of VERY sore boobs and utter exhaustion). Really hope it's not a sign of MMC. I won't know until next scan at 11+5!

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 20/04/2017 17:45

I'll ask him, but he's late home today. So I suspect he is won't want to go out tonight!
I'll say... I'm pregnant!!! 😂😂

Mrsbluebell17 · 20/04/2017 18:01

Could he pick up a takeaway Nando's for you on the way home Battenburg? Smile

TootsyBella84 · 20/04/2017 18:10

I've been neglecting the cooking the past few days and just realised the chicken I had planned for tonight's tea was to be used by yesterday. Not worth the risk so McDonald's it is! I hate wasting food but I think I can accept this one Wink
Currently lying in bed feeling sorry for myself and dh is going to take the kids and go to the drive thru. Woop!

glastogal · 20/04/2017 18:11

Hey all.. god, you're making me so hungry!! No idea what I'm doing for dinner tonight but I want nandos, mcdonalds, fish finger sandwiches and mashed spuds now!!

Booking appointment was great.. narrowly avoided it being recorded that I suffer domestic abuse (glad I noticed she had accidentally ticked that box 😱) and I should get my dating scan appt through soon 👍

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 20/04/2017 18:52

@Mrsbluebell17 if he went by one, he would!
He had a late lunch so he's not that hungry.
We've compromised and we've having crispy chicken wraps with cheese and pineapple at home, with the promise of a Nando's at the weekend! 😍

JCHatchling · 20/04/2017 18:53

Sounds good Glasto! Where did you have your booking appointment? At the GP?

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 20/04/2017 18:55

Ooh I need to remember to book in with the midwife!
They say ten weeks... I'll just ring up and say I'm seven weeks Monday can I have an appointment for three weeks time!
Honestly, I have a brain like a sieve!

Carlotta82248 · 20/04/2017 18:57

There are millions (ok not quite) of people pregnant at work and all have such varied symptoms ranging from none to being off sick, think it's like anything else, we're all different x

mamalovesviolet · 20/04/2017 19:00

Food chat is making me so hungry and now I really want a McChicken sandwich from McDonalds not shepherds pie! And i've got a steaming cold. Being ill and not being able to have day nurse and night nurse on a drip is a killer!

Only symptoms I had last time was terrible tiredness. No sickness or nausea. Most of the time I hardly knew I was pregnant! Apart from when I fell asleep on the sofa at 7pm every night and then woke at 2am needing my go aheads that I kept in my bedside table!

Lixon · 20/04/2017 19:45

Argh I have started bleeding,. Not heavy or painful but red and enough to make me burst into tears in the toilet at work. I'm currently on the long commute home trying to hold it together.

I know there is nothing I can do except call EPU in the morning and see if they can bring my scan forwards and that regardless if I am miscarrying there's nothing I can do but at least I will be referred for tests. But it just feels so unfair at times.

We're living with my parents and I haven't told them yet so don't know what I'll do when I get in.

SamiZayn · 20/04/2017 19:58

Lixon big hugs, keep us updated. Are you having any pain?

leighdinglady · 20/04/2017 19:58

Oh no Lixon!!!! You've been through too much already! That's really really unfair. Try not to panic though. Lots and lots of women bleed. Just tell the parents you're feeling really unwell and go straight to bed. I really really hope you're ok

Chamonix1 · 20/04/2017 19:59

Lixon
How far along are you? It's a positive there's no pain.
20% of women experience bleeding within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.
Get that scan bought forward.
If they see a heartbeat even with the bleeding the chances of not miscarrying are 90%. So hopefully an early scan will put your mind at ease a bit.
I'm sorry, nobody needs this stress early pregnancy is just 12 weeks of stress and worry. BrewCake

Zaberwocky · 20/04/2017 20:04

Lixon Sad

As others have said, no pain is good. But I would call your GP tomorrow to get a referral to your local EPU.

If it makes you feel any better I've bleed every day the last few weeks and everything is fine. Flowers

For what it's worth, I'd tell your parents if you think they'll be supportive. I think we'd all feel a lot better knowing you were getting real life hugs as opposed to the ones we can offer!

Mrsbluebell17 · 20/04/2017 20:11

This sounds like it's scary for you Lixon but as the others say don't panic and get yourself seen at EPU asap Flowers

Lixon · 20/04/2017 20:25

Thank you everyone, you're all so kind. I'm feeling a bit better now, fingers crossed EPU can see me tomorrow or Saturday - essentially 6 weeks so hopefully would see a heartbeat if this is a viable pregnancy.

I feel a bit ridiculous and did have early bleeding which was ok in my last pregnancy but I'm just so tired from lack of sleep that I'm significantly more emotional than usual! Still managed not to attract too much attention on the tube thankfully!

Zabe I really wouldn't wish bleeding on anyone but yours does help make me think it might be ok so thank you. I reiterate how amazingly strong you have been throughout Flowers

leighdinglady · 20/04/2017 20:36

You might not see a heart beat that early, so don't panic if you don't.

amazingrobot · 20/04/2017 20:38

I'm sorry lixon - fingers crossed for that scan. I also bled a huge amount in my first pregnancy and all was well. I'm thinking of you.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 20/04/2017 20:46

Gosh, I've missed loads while I was marking! Hugs to everyone experiencing bleeding and waiting for early scans. Been there. Had both outcomes. It sucks. Here for you.
Earlier I mentioned being fine and revelling in the knowing before the nausea! Should have kept quiet. Took my pregnacare this evening at 7 and the nausea has hit. Taken myself to bed now and hope I don't feel like this at work tomorrow - teaching whilst nauseous isn't fun! (and I don't want work to know for at least a couple of months, I've had two miscarriages I don't need the pressure of people knowing and fussing).
