Congratulations Leigh 👏👏

Tiptop - hope you are having a lovely hols

Kungfu - middle of the night wake ups for me too. Last night an extended period of being awake at 4am. DP was awake too so we had a little chat 😆

I've got several apps on the go.. ovia, baby centre, mumsnet and bounty. I think ovia is probably the best of those though!

Chamonix1 · 20/04/2017 09:12

Just had my first episode of actually sickness.
I threw up so hard I actually wet myself a little bit. So embarrassing but I've googled and don't think I'm alone Sad
Best go stock up on pants liners then.
Hope everyone's okay today x

Chamonix1 · 20/04/2017 09:12

Actual sickness *

Beardy1 · 20/04/2017 09:29

cham omg that sounded hardcore. Hope your okay.

ChocolateRaisin · 20/04/2017 09:34

That sounds horrible Chamonix, you poor thing!

I'm just trundling along with my constant nausea which seems to peak for the first few hours of the morning and then again in the early evening and when I want to eat dinner. I had a lovely dinner last night and I couldn't eat it due to the waves of nausea.

Two things that I think are helping is grazing on rich tea biscuits through the day and walking my dogs in the morning and evening. I also seem to feel a lot better if I am laying down rather than sitting up.

I really hope this doesn't last until I am 14 weeks!!

Amazing I hope you get better news at your next scan. It is so horrible having to wait.

Some of my symptoms disappeared yesterday, I got really worried. My boobs suddenly seemed a normal size and didn't hurt at all. I am 6+5 today, my mmc stopped growing at 6+3 last year, so my anxiety levels were very high. They seem to be sore and bigger again, so I'm trying not to worry too much now, though it is difficult. Only one more week until my scan...

Zaberwocky · 20/04/2017 09:46

Cham completely normal. I recommend getting yourself a very glam bucket for the toilet. For when you inevitably do a poo and puke at the same time.

Amazing how're you holding up today?

I'm now panicking that I only have five-ish months left of working Shock ! I'll have to bugger off at the end of September!

tumbleouttabed · 20/04/2017 09:47

Hi Ladies, sorry I've been quiet, busy at work but have just been catching up. Also feeling pretty sick and desperately tired.....but happy to be feeling like that. I had an early scan this week when they estimated I was measuring at 5w4days (2 days earlier than I thought) - no heartbeat yet but apparently that is normal. I have another scan on 2 May. All the best to those with scans coming up. I'm keeping going with the dreadful decaf tea...!

Zaberwocky · 20/04/2017 09:47

Chocolate please try not to worry! I know how hard that is to do. Symptoms fluctuate and disappear all the time. I think as well after a while you get so used to your body feeling weird it begins to feel normal!

Zaberwocky · 20/04/2017 10:06

I badly need new tights and am a little bit considering maternity ones Blush they look warm!

Angielka · 20/04/2017 10:08

Anyone suffering from pins and needles? I woke up in the night and somehow half my face was numb Hmm

I also have only thrown up once today and am feeling a bit less sick so obviously panicking as a result. My own doctor said not to worry if symptoms come and go and you lot are saying the same, but there is always something to worry about it seems. 7+5 and my scan on Tuesday can't come round soon enough.

A colleague guessed this morning Shock she asked if I was feeling alright and then just blurted out "you're pregnant!" Bit shocked it was so obvious to her Confused

ChocolateRaisin · 20/04/2017 10:13

I went to a meeting yesterday with colleagues that I don't see too often but have worked with for a long time. I think my managers manager has realised, as has one or two others. Probably because I sat through the whole meeting eating biscuits- I am normally very healthy!

Thanks Zabe, I know I need to just stay nice and calm. Hopefully after my scan I will feel more reassured!

Marie90 · 20/04/2017 10:49

Sorry I've been so quiet recently... So tired all the time so it's all i can do to eat dinner after work before i crash, so don't really get a chance to look at my phone!

Sorry for all those who have actually been throwing up! I've been on & off nauseous but not actually been sick yet. Finding that snacking on very plain stuff seems to help atm!

Hows everyone dealing with having to take everything a notch slower atm? I'm normally 110% all day but had to start listening to my body and stopping throughout the day... Its making me feel a bit pathetic! My OH has been brilliant helping me out, but i feel really lazy lol!

Anyone else? X

amazingrobot · 20/04/2017 10:53

Thanks for checking in zaber - I'm exhausting myself googling small gestational sacs. Not a healthy pastime. Just trying to be present for my kids and clients (I'm a psychotherapist) which is tough.

Glad to hear of symptoms for lots of you and sorry for others suffering anxiety.

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 20/04/2017 10:54

I'm so tired 😴
My diet seems to be consisting of:
Crumpets with marmite
Coco pops
Yoghurt
The odd biscuit
And I'm just cooking some mash to have for lunch, will prob have it either with beans or gravy.
I've taken meat pies out the freezer for tonight but really can't stomach big portions.

I am turning into a toddler.
I am literally eating what I fancy, just anything to keep this nausea at bay!

Zaberwocky · 20/04/2017 11:01

MASH AND BEANS!

Battenberg I have never wanted something so badly in my life 😂

Amazing do whatever you need to do to get you through. At least in a way you've got a bit going on to distract you, might make the hours go by a little bit faster.

Zaberwocky · 20/04/2017 11:06

Marie honestly it's annoying me Grin

My house is a tip, I've run out of pants, and DH has flu and isn't doing much either. I've given up with the concept of work with my managers blessing and am just browsing relevant stuff online!

TootsyBella84 · 20/04/2017 11:07

Battenberg I feel you! I'm just winging it with the cravings. I had crumpets for breakfast and I bought a big bottle of chocolate milkshake to go with my lunch. I'm hoping I don't regret it but it seems like such a good idea 😷😂
Mash and beans sounds amazing!!!
I really wanted a double cheeseburger from mcds last night but I didn't cave lol

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 20/04/2017 11:10

I have to go back to work tomorrow, so I'm not sure how I'm going to manage then!
🙈
I've got to think of things to take with me!

Zaberwocky · 20/04/2017 11:18

Batten

... are you forgetting the existence of microwave mash? Wink

looby1304 · 20/04/2017 11:21

I'm definitely having mash and beans for my lunch now!

Angielka · 20/04/2017 11:28

Mash! [drools]

I came into work with a bag full of breadsticks and crackers... really craved pickles yesterday, like some bad stereotype of a pregnant woman!

Zaberwocky · 20/04/2017 11:31

I have no beans 😭 !

Fine. Mash, peas and gravy then. Then a lie down then back to work.

Marie90 · 20/04/2017 11:46

Zaber ha! Your house sounds like mine! The only thing i Insist on having done is that the washing up must be sorted because if it's still there in the morning then my nausea is off the chart!!

You've all got me craving mash now!! drools

Zaberwocky · 20/04/2017 11:50

Ugh. I'm normally so uptight about cleaning, the house is always spotless. But I've barely got enough energy to get home lately Blush

I'm going to leave a little bit early today I think to try to at least load the dishwasher and stick the hoover round.

Go on Marie Grin go get yourself some mash too!

Mrsbluebell17 · 20/04/2017 11:56
