Amazing yes they did see a yolk.

glastogal · 19/04/2017 13:09

zaber - well it's nickname is Bug.. but to be honest it looks like a blob at the moment!!

Lixon · 19/04/2017 13:18

Congratulations Glastonbury, you must be very relieved!

I have an early scan next week following gp referral (2x miscarriages and a termination for medical reasons last time round). I will be offered a cvs diagnostic test at 11 weeks, not sure yet if I will go ahead or book a private harmony scan separately...

Lixon · 19/04/2017 13:19

Or glasto, bloody autocorrect!

ERog84 · 19/04/2017 13:19

Thanks everyone, so I've just spoken to my fertility nurse and I can have an early scan at 7 weeks with me consultant 😊 Only 2.5 weeks to way which is much easier to get my head around!!

MontyPants · 19/04/2017 13:24

Well the sickness has well and truly kicked in for me. Not so much vomiting, but just generally feeling pants. Sticking to porridge and other plain beige foods. 7+2 today. Don't get me wrong though, I'm happy to be having symptoms. Just been recommended arrowroot biscuits for nausea so might try them later.

Amazing sorry your scan wasn't what was expected. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that things are ok next week x

Zaberwocky · 19/04/2017 13:43

I have successfully kept down one giant crumpet Grin

Seriously though ... to those with all bloody day long sickness ... how many ginger biscuits must you eat for them to be effective!? 😂

Zaberwocky · 19/04/2017 13:55

Grin awhhh. Bug is cute!

It's so weird to think how quickly it'll change ... in four weeks-ish it'll actually resemble something!

Angielka · 19/04/2017 14:01

I'm already sick of my ginger tea and the biscuits don't work. I have been drinking lots of water with lemon cordial in though and that's great! And stuffing myself with breadsticks and crackers all day long 🤢 just told two colleagues and they were lovely and supportive and excited. Bit of a relief not to have to put a smile on my face aaaaaall the time.

TootsyBella84 · 19/04/2017 14:24

Eek congratulations glastogal

ERog I have an early scan booked for 7+3 due to 2 miscarriages since August. I'm glad you're able to get one x

DoctorDonnaNoble · 19/04/2017 14:57

I'm struggling to believe it will stick at the moment.

Zaberwocky · 19/04/2017 14:58

Angielka I'll give up then! I hate the bloody things at the best of times. DH can eat them!

I've managed to get an appointment on Friday for my constant chundering 😪 It wouldn't be so bad if water stayed down!

Zaberwocky · 19/04/2017 14:59

Doctor I think we've all felt like that! Especially if the last thread is anything to go by. Is there any reason why you're not too confident about it sticking?

DoctorDonnaNoble · 19/04/2017 15:12

Miscarried at 6 weeks in February. Previously discovered a MMC at 8 weeks which needed surgical management.

amazingrobot · 19/04/2017 15:14

So hcg today is 2614. Sounds pretty low to me but they say it corresponds with what they found on the us today. I hate this Sad

Zaberwocky · 19/04/2017 15:29

Amazing I'm here for a hand hold if you need it!

There is a chart somewhere that gives you the normal ranges for the week of pregnancy. I'm sure normal am range between 2000-22000! I'll try to find it later.

I'd tell you not to worry but I know that's impossible. Flowers

Sereniela · 19/04/2017 16:12

Hello - can i join too?
Age : 31/32
EDD : 11th Dec
First baby - reading up as much as poss (probably too much, and have scared myself silly several times) and just waiting for a phone call from a midwife to sort out appointments...

7w today and regular nausea, migraines and cramping. Still managing to shovel in food though, despite feeling sick Shock

TootsyBella84 · 19/04/2017 16:18

Zaber I just replied to your other post but I really hope the doctor can help you. I had hyperemesis with my youngest and it was awful, I was signed off work and spent most days sobbing and spewing feeling sorry for myself. I really do feel for you x

TootsyBella84 · 19/04/2017 16:20

Welcome Seren!

amazing I don't know anything about hcg levels but I really hope it's a good sign

TootsyBella84 · 19/04/2017 16:24

creameggs how are you doing? I know we may not get a reply as you're on your fab holiday but thinking of you x

Zaberwocky · 19/04/2017 17:01

Thanks Tootsy

It's like I said on there, I just feel like all I'm going in pregnancy so far is whine! First about the bleeding, now about the puking.

I clearly had a silly, idealistic view of pregnancy! I just don't have time to be vomiting every time I eat Sad I've got way to much to do in the next few months!

Zaberwocky · 19/04/2017 17:02

How's everyone else coping with the morning sickness?

60percentbanana · 19/04/2017 17:33

Amazing - for you

60percentbanana · 19/04/2017 17:36

Zabe - no sickness yet, lucky me. Just the sore boobs. I've bought a Fitbit this week in an effort to manage my weight, keep active and not become huge like last time - but I'm starving 🙄

The closest I've come to sickness was a wave of nausea when I opened a jar of baby food earlier today. Puréed spaghetti bolognese. Bleurghhhhh

CantHelpDancingWithTheDevil · 19/04/2017 17:47

How's everyone's eating going?

I'm only 5ft 1 so I cannot afford to put on a lot of weight - I do Pilates and spin class every week and try to walk 5 miles a few times a week 😴 but right now all I want to do is sleep

All I've managed to eat these last few days is Birdseye Mediterranean Rice at 220kcal..

I can barely stomach a cup of tea ffs. I'd even eat a McDonalds if I thought I'd be able to keep it down 😭
