I see there's a thread for early November due dates but I can't see that anyone's started one for the later dates yet. Not sure yet if this one will stick around but if it does it'll be our DC3, due around the 18th.

Someone come chat to me?!

Super exciting! I have my booking appointment on 11th April and after that I hope it will feel real. Can't wait to tell the families as this will be the first grandchild for both sets of parents!
I'm sure your kids will be over the moon when they find out, I bet you can't wait to tell them Xx

organixeveryday · 22/03/2017 20:53

Can I join too ?
Got a positive last Sunday , have an early scan this Sunday coming (mothers day!)
Getting excited but still apprehensive even though this is second pregnancy.
Have 1 DS (17 months).

Booked a private scan for 7 weeks, still 2 weeks to wait, ugh!

Mummyosborne1983 · 22/03/2017 21:08

Organix - do you mind me asking why you are having an early scan? Have you requested it... it's great peace of mind!
I've got my booking appointment on 19th April, sorted it today... the soonest they could fit me in but I'll be about 9 weeks then I think!

Mummyosborne1983 · 22/03/2017 21:10

Nice cuppa - I can't wait to tell my children.... especially as this time my nearly 4 year old will understand and probably tell everyone. He was only 14mths when I got pregnant with his sister and 22mths when she was born x

organixeveryday · 22/03/2017 21:16

I went to the doctor originally to ask about an abortion :/ but she booked me into the EPU to find out dates as I can't remember when last period was !!
Very nervous though.
I'm in Cambridge :)

Mummyosborne1983 · 22/03/2017 21:47

Organix- what a difficult decision, have you made a final decision to keep the baby now? May I ask why you were unsure on having another. It's very brave of you to be so honest and to share that with us all x

organixeveryday · 22/03/2017 21:56

We were loosely planning it , and we decided after a proper chat that we would make it work come rain or shine.

organixeveryday · 22/03/2017 21:57

Just because it's never the right time is it - DS is with me 6/7 days a week and with ex for 1 day. Dp and I don't currently live full time together. Some other stuff too, but ultimately it's a huge blessing and a gift as not everyone can conceive / hold onto a pregnancy etc etc. Dp is also older than me and was worried about his fertility.

TeaAndPjs · 22/03/2017 22:13

Can I join please! Going by last period I'm due 24th Feb! Have already got booking in app(april) and 12 week scan in May but that seems like a lifetime away! Going to doc this week to request an early scan as 3 MC and last time I MC at 6 weeks and didn't know till just gone 11weeks! Don't want the added worry/stress this time round

Alicium · 22/03/2017 22:39

@organix I know how you feel about it never being the right time. This pregnancy is a complete accident (when a pill is labelled as 95% effective, you never think you're gonna be that 5%!) I've spent the last week trying to decide whether I can actually do this or not. I definitely considered getting an abortion. I just know that I'd end up regretting getting rid of it if I did though. You're right about this being a gift.

I'm from Wales, and I'm 27

PrimeraVez · 23/03/2017 08:56

Hi ladies, good morning. I got the results back of my latest thyroid panel and my TSH has already reached the upper limits of what is considered a normal range for 1st trimester, so I've had to make a small adjustment to my meds. Dr wants me back for another blood test in 3 week. Have a feeling I'm going to end up like a pin cushion!

I got 2-3 weeks on a CBD last night which I was pleased with (I'm 4+4) With my chemical, I never moved past 1-2 weeks, so for now at least I'm feeling a tiny bit calmer.

Stuckinstressville · 23/03/2017 09:36

Primera good you got tested! Fast too! Mine take weeks as have to go to a clinic hen rebook a follow up gp and the appointments are hard to get!

I took a cb at 4+5 and was still 1-2 weeks so now panicking! Feel no different as well so am very scared this is another mc in the making. Agh.

Foggymist · 23/03/2017 09:55

Everyone should just stop testing with CB digi, there should be a limit of one each! I haven't used one this time at all. The weeks are not accurate or reliable on it.

I've found it much better to use an IC once a week or so, today the line came up before the control line and much darker than it, amazing difference in a week!

PrimeraVez · 23/03/2017 09:58

Hi stuck try not to panic (easier said than done I know!) If you Google, CBD are notorious for being inaccurate for giving the weeks. I was in two minds about whether or not to take one and promised myself I wouldn't freak out if I only got 1-2 weeks.

My symptoms are so hit and miss as well - I've had a couple of very brief waves of nausea, some milky CM and shooting pains in my boobs, but nothing major and if I'm busy at work, I keep on forgetting that I'm even pregnant.

Try to relax - I keep telling myself that all the time I'm not bleeding or having strong cramps, there's no reason to believe anything is wrong.

OnNaturesCourse · 23/03/2017 12:53

Due 28th! By my own calculations... Praying all goes well for everyone

NovemberBaby2017 · 23/03/2017 15:04

HI @OnNaturesCourse i'm due 24th also by my own calculations!

Congratulations! x

Foggymist · 23/03/2017 15:23

All of my symptoms are gone, round ligament pain has eased, no nightmares, and that was about all I had anyway! Hcg strip tests couldn't be any darker if they tried, will just have to wait and see at early scan in two weeks. Missed miscarriage is always my big dread.

TeaAndPjs · 23/03/2017 16:22

I took a CB digi bit after that I'm not going near them as I don't want to be disappointed if numbers don't rise! Tho I did take 6 frer and 4 ic, 1 a day except for 1st 3 days where I took 2! I keep thinking I'm gonna have another MMC, ran out of tests today tho so think I might need to get another couple just to totally put me at ease

Kaydee2017 · 23/03/2017 16:53

Also agree to ditching the CB digis! I did one at 4+something that only came up as 1-2 weeks, have the other in the cupboard but after everything I've read about their unreliability I'm just leaving it & waiting it out until 8 week early scan!

I am 6 weeks today & feel so bloated - thought it was a myth but look like I'm eating for 5 & actually I'm barely eating at all Sad

Hope everyone is well!

organixeveryday · 23/03/2017 16:55

DS napped for an hour then I put him in bed with me for a further 2 hours to watch peppa whilst I slept 🤔 DP has said "he'll take up the slack" 😊

organixeveryday · 23/03/2017 16:55

I couldn't sleep last time round in the day as I was at work so this is kind of handy I suppose !

stuckinny · 23/03/2017 18:59

Organix I'm very jealous of your napping ability. From about 11 until 3 or 4 all I want to do is sleep. Ive even considered hiding under my desk - I'm not sure anyone would notice.
Despite being tired in the day by 8.30-9 I'm wide awake and have been struggling to sleep. This better not be a sign of things to come. I can do mornings but I'm so not a night person.

organixeveryday · 23/03/2017 19:36

Nights I've only been managing 1:30am-6:30am so that's not enough for me really.
Hoping this baby sleeps as well as DS did !

DuRezidal · 23/03/2017 19:54

I am absolutely exhausted at the minute. I am working from 7am until 7.30pm at the moment riding the horses, training and teaching and just walked in completely and utterly drained! I feel I can't even get myself to make dinner :-(
