Mid-Late November due dates

AGnu · 13/03/2017 16:35

I see there's a thread for early November due dates but I can't see that anyone's started one for the later dates yet. Not sure yet if this one will stick around but if it does it'll be our DC3, due around the 18th.

Someone come chat to me?!

So unbelievably tired 💤 excited to be tucked up in bed already Smile how long do you ladies usually have to wait between your gp referral and the letter with the date for your first appointments??

harrietm87 · 24/03/2017 02:55

Hi everyone (esp kaydee from ttc1 thread!). I got my bfp a week ago but held off joining as I had two consecutive chemical pregnancies in a row (lost one at 4+5 and one at 5 weeks). 5 weeks today and the symptoms are still strong so really hoping this one sticks!

It will be my first baby, I'm 30 and live in London. Currently on holiday in Asia though so all feels bit surreal. EDD 25 Nov.

So far main symptoms have been painful boobs, some light cramping and extreme hunger and bloat! I feel like I've put on a stone already!

MrsGB2225 · 24/03/2017 06:25

Harriet im very jealous of your holiday! Since I got my BFP I've had a sickness bug and a cough and cold so any symptoms I've had have been hidden. Last time I didn't get symptoms until 7/8 weeks so I'm trying not to worry. I'm in London for now, but move to Kent in a few days. I was lucky enough to meet loads of lovely mums when I had DC1 in London, so hopefully I'm just as lucky in Kent.

Kaydee2017 · 24/03/2017 07:02

Hi harriet!! Everything crossed for you Smile only a week between us - I'm 6+1 today!!

Finally got round to calling my GP yesterday & seeing midwife next week when I'll be 6+5! They only do 2 days a week in my surgery & the next appt I could do was end of April, thought that might be cutting it a bit fine for scan date so went for next week!

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 24/03/2017 08:35

Can anyone tell me when we're supposed to start glowing?

All I have is spots, nausea, diarrhoea and bloating

NoCatsHere · 24/03/2017 08:36

Welcome harriet good luck for this one!

durezial that is a long exhausting day - no wonder you're knackered!

I know I should step away from the diggies but i had 2 burning a whole in my cabinet. Anyway I broke this morning as ds2 had got me up early...anyway i was relieved to see it moved on to 3+ weeks. I will stop testing now, promise.

I'm thinking of booking an early scan as i just can't bear the wait. I put myself as 7 weeks next tuesday using my miscarriage as my LMP. Will they be able to see enough - maybe even a heartbeat do you think? I'd also like my due date cleared up as i may be a week out...

DuRezidal · 24/03/2017 10:48

@NoCatsHere I was the same and although I know how unreliable the digis are I couldn't help testing one last time...

butterybollocks · 24/03/2017 11:42

Hello, can I join? I've been putting off testing due to a chemical pregnancy a few months ago, but have braved it now and got a positive :) I'm 5+5, edd 21 Nov.

Feeling completely exhausted and have just had a 24 hour mega headache which made me feel sick. Also am constantly starving or completely off food.

Foggymist · 24/03/2017 12:40

@butterybollocks welcome! I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle and am now 5+4 Smile

theotherendofthesockportal · 24/03/2017 12:53

@NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown I also wondered about when we are supposed to start glowing. I have more spots than I had when I was a teenager.

I am also wavering between nausea and hunger. The peri peri chicken I bought last night for lunch today looked amazing. Now I'm struggling to eat it, I don't have much choice though as I have nothing else to eat 🤢🤢🤢

Mutiny0nTheBunty · 24/03/2017 13:02

Yes yes to the spots, nausea and bloating!

Mind you I never glowed when pg with DS so no idea why I was thinking it would be otherwise this time. 😷

Kaydee2017 · 24/03/2017 13:46

I have gone the other way with my skin - came off the pill on Dec & my skin reverted to how I was when I was 17! Since getting my BFP it has calmed down massively! Hopefully the pregnancy hormones will do the same for all of you!!

NoCatsHere · 24/03/2017 13:48

My tummy is SOOOOOOOO huge! I look so obviously pregnant! it's getting harder and harder to hide it on the school run now the weather is turning nicer. I need it to stay cold to hide it under big coats! Ridiculous i know....I feel much bigger quicker this time, so hopefully this is a good sign that everything is well with this pregnancy.

lelygirl · 24/03/2017 14:04

Can I join?? 5 weeks today 🙈

NoCatsHere · 24/03/2017 14:04

And now of course i've freaked myself out that i'm huge because of course its TWINS!!! Shock

AGnu · 24/03/2017 14:10

Is anyone else ridiculously emotional at the moment? I'm crying over everything to the point where I think I might have to stop watching TV altogether! It's not just TV though, DH upset me by coming home late when he was supposed to be having the afternoon off & I basically sobbed all afternoon for the most ridiculous reasons. Usually I'd be a bit annoyed with him & then get over it but everything seemed to be setting me off. The daftest thing was when I was counting something & lost count then couldn't remember how much I was supposed to be counting anyway. This was the worst thing that could ever possibly happen... Hmm

Other than that, my breasts hurt, my nipples are sensitive, I feel sick & dizzy pretty much constantly & I keep falling asleep, unless it's 4.30am in which case I'm wide awake & hungry-queasy. 6 weeks tomorrow & I'm counting down the minutes to the end of this trimester when I absolutely will spontaneously feel better!

I've been so distracted by all this, plus PILs visiting at the weekend, that I'd completely forgotten that I'm supposed to get my DM a card for mothers' day. I was vaguely aware that it was this Sunday & that I needed to tell DH what the DC had said they wanted to do for me but not at all thought that I needed to do anything! Blush

Hello, may I join here too? Im on the early thread but I imagine there will be a coalition at some point!

I noticed there's a few thyroid people too.

I worry about this as I had a lot of problems getting my tsh under control in my first pregnancy and there's been some issues so far in this one. Thinking maybe I should have gone private.

booox · 24/03/2017 14:45

I wonder if it's worth creating a 'pregnant with thyroid issues' thread?

Collating info for others is always helpful.

I do tell myself ds is fine despite my tsh being way out for most of the first trimester!

Stuckinstressville · 24/03/2017 15:07

Violet , a good idea i think! thyroid is all sorts of fun. I am so cold and my skin is dry as a bone and sore at the mo!
GP appt this afternoon! It is becoming real.

The MMC i had was so tough in Dec, i had pain on my left hand side so worried i took DS1 (then 15months) to the EPU at 10 weeks and they said... hmm dates wrong you at 8 weeks come back on XMas eve and we will rescan. I just knew it was not progressing so had a private appt and scan a week later and ERPC that day. I was still getting positive tests until the new year though.

Somehow i am almost in denial about this bean! i am on a diet from a dietician due to BMI being over 30 due to thyroid issues post partum and the mahoosive weight gain post DS. so strict 1500 cals a day to drop weight asap. However i have lost my appetite and have no energy to think! I must be careful not to gain too much as my body hurts so much pregnant!

Stuckinstressville · 24/03/2017 15:12

Tried to make a stats list but it is proving hard work with the format given up thread as on many lines ... so can we try again with this one on one line ? We used this format in my last ante natal group if that helps?( we also switched to FB once the bus was full and we knew each other quite well at a certain point that felt right. Not suggesting this is the right way but a heads up. ( and yes i like order... ) It will be nice actually to have a smaller group than a whole month group i think, less numbers.

Stuck, 34, TTC#2, EDD 24/11

Sorry to repeat this!

Stuckinstressville · 24/03/2017 15:15

I like order but apparently my grammar and use of punctuation is appalling.

booox · 24/03/2017 15:16

Yes I've been through a period of very itchy skin, dry at times too. I'm better today.

It's a bugger. I must say I tend to loose weight after initial bloating with an underactive thyroid blip. I loose my appetite. I get so weak. Ive booked a test for next Friday when I'll be almost 8 weeks to double check. I've had to convince the gp to raise but I don't think it's enough. It's not the amount stated by nice. However I don't want to do more than she said so as not to skew results etc.

She's decided I'm 'very anxious' so agreed I can do a blood test when I want to, which is 2 weeks after the raise. I'm going with her belief as I'm effectively managing my self here and I know I'll need a test then just in case. (The gp and hospital always checked two weeks after my raises last time; there were lots of issues).

AGnu, 30, TTC #3, EDD 18/11

On my last antenatal thread, by the time we had our babies there were just 6 of us: 2 expecting #3, 2 expecting #2 & 2 expecting #1. Of each pair, we had one of each sex. I love patterns! Grin This thread feels huge by comparison!

Stuckinstressville · 24/03/2017 15:51

Agnu there are 70 on my fb group of which about 40 are very active still and ds is 17months!

Can't wait to hopefully progress together!
