Mid-Late November due dates

AGnu · 13/03/2017 16:35

I see there's a thread for early November due dates but I can't see that anyone's started one for the later dates yet. Not sure yet if this one will stick around but if it does it'll be our DC3, due around the 18th.

Someone come chat to me?!

I second what others have said, some people don't suffer severe symptoms or any at all, and have perfectly healthy pregnancies, and some have severe symptoms and still miscarry.

Kimbles I'm sorry you are under this stress, and so sorry for your loss. It seems like the hospital aren't worried but I know that does little to assuage anxiety, especially when you've been through so much already. Xx

Hazandduck · 12/04/2017 11:43

Ps kimbles I've had the dreaded constipation the last few days it is actually agony. I've read that I just need to drink more water but I drink loads as it is!

harrietm87 · 12/04/2017 12:04

So I had my scan this morning and it was bad news I think. I'm pretty sure I'm 7+4 but scan showed "appearances consistent with a 5-6 week pregnancy". Gestational sac and yolk sac but no fetal pole. My dates could be out because of mc, or it could have stopped growing. Just have to wait a couple of weeks and be rescanned. I'm totally devastated.

FluffyEwok · 12/04/2017 12:31

Harriet xxx I'm hoping it's just your dates are out. Thinking of you Flowers

Foggymist · 12/04/2017 13:09

Kimblesj I had bright red bleeding at 10 & 20 weeks with my ds, just one "burst" of it each time if you know what I mean, there was a physical gush, enough to soak through underwear. I didn't get 10 week one checked out (figured there was no point, they wouldn't be able to do any thing at that stage) and 20 week one I was sent for a trace and all seemed fine, they said there wouldn't be anything they could do at that stage anyway which I knew. I have a cervical erosion so it was probably that.

Zampa · 12/04/2017 13:48

Fingers crossed for you Harriet. Hopefully, your dates are out because of the miscarriage.

My favourite pregnancy symptom stayed today - nosebleeds! Whilst common, I'm more concerned about them this pregnancy due to my pre-eclampsia and DD's brain bleeds at birth.

kimblesj · 12/04/2017 14:14

Thanks foggy I think that's what they think I have - sensitive cervix. To be fair, with Finley I had major bleeds weekly and passed huge clots and he was fine. I think i just need to have a little mantra to not worry. Honestly the amount of blood, if I wasn't searching tissue like a loon I would never even know about it! It is tiny and the cramp type pains I get anyway because it's all stretching I just need people to keep me rational.

In other news I have been called by hospital and I have gestational diabetes already, it's a record for me, last week it was 10 weeks diagnosed.
Gives me something to focus on and a bit of control I guess.

I cannot fault the hospital for their care (other than stroppy sonographer) they are all amazing.

Harriet fingers crossed the dates are slightly out, mine were out by about a week last Friday so it's more than possible, I have my fingers crossed for you xx

Bearest17 · 12/04/2017 14:56

Fingers crossed for you Harriet.

Had my first appointment with my gp today to get things started. GP was great - blood tests booked, 12 week scan booked for the middle of May. All starting to seem real.

I couldn't get a midwife appointment for booking in until after my 12 week scan though. Really surprised by that!

Foggymist · 12/04/2017 15:15

I'm not hungry, I'm actually stuffed with food, but my stomach is unsettled like it wants more food. But the thought of eating anymore is rotten :( Halp!

Topsyloulou · 12/04/2017 15:23

Hope the next scan brings more positive news Harriet.

Foggy* I was like that last week. So so full but needed to eat something for the nausea. I found that yoghurts, fruit juice or milkshakes seemed to help.

I've been referred to the consultant as I'm probably going to go for a elcs this time. I was induced & ended up with emcs last time & with DS being so big it could go that way again & would rather avoid it. Also got to go for a GTT because of him being so big. He was long with a huge head rather than chunky but that doesn't make a difference unfortunately. Had bloods taken & urine sample checked. Just got to wait for 12 week scan date to come in the post.

Hazandduck · 12/04/2017 15:49

Sorry your scan has left you worried. It is worth remembering a miscarriage can throw your whole cycle out harriet. I ovulated about 3 weeks after my first one, because I was still bleeding up until then. It can take much longer than you think for your body to get back in to a cycle, fingers crossed that's all it is. Xx

harrietm87 · 12/04/2017 16:22

I'm trying to be positive but I'm fairly sure of dates as I did an opk. I do think I might have implanted later than in my last pregnancy as I had pains and my first bfp was very faint, but that can only account for about a week and I'm out by at least 1.5 if not 2 weeks. Don't know how I'm going to get through these next 10 days.

Hopeful25 · 12/04/2017 16:52

Harriet sorry to hear about your scan, fingers crossed it's just dating. Xxx

Foggy tipsy I feel so bloated and empty sick like I've not eaten for ages. I've just eaten some plain pasta and I feel ok when I start eating but now I've finished I'm back to that nauseous feeling. Roll on 12 weeks when this nausea goes!

MrsGB2225 · 12/04/2017 17:41

Harriet sorry about your scan. Hopefully it's just the dates and everything will be ok at the next scan.

I can't wait for the sickness to be over! Does anyone feel worse this time round than with their first?

lydiangel83 · 12/04/2017 18:00

for you @harrietm87 xxx

lelygirl · 12/04/2017 18:14

Hi ladies, seem to have become REALLY thirsty over the last few days (7+5). Is this normal? Also...maybe TMI but not running to the loo half as much??

FluffyEwok · 12/04/2017 18:48

I'm not weeing as much. I'm having the urge to eat crap food too!

Foggymist · 12/04/2017 20:27

I'm craving fruit, salad-y veg and cheese. Long may it continue! I go totally off chocolate and crave savoury stuff. Feel great now after a massive dinner of delicious salad and dippy things.

GingerHanna · 12/04/2017 20:33

Soooo... weird symptom alert... I have a faint but definately there linea nigra!

I saw it yesterday but wasn't sure if I was imagining it. But it's clearer today and DH can see it too! I'm quite fair so really surprised. No darkening areola, just this. Odd eh?

organixeveryday · 12/04/2017 21:03

Urgh I keep getting UTI's ;(
Exciting day , just went and paid deposit for Maldives holiday in August (going without DS as he is having holiday contact with his father) and also chose the ring that I'm going to be proposed to with out there!!!!
💍👙🐠☀️☀️

lydiangel83 · 12/04/2017 21:41

@lelygirl yep drinking lots too and takes ages for wee to go clear(ish). Think you need it!

@Foggymist impressed by / jealous of your cravings, mine are chocolate, cheese and crisps! Staple food groups these days!

Hazandduck · 12/04/2017 22:56

Harriet I will be thinking of you until your next scan. The wait is often worse than knowing. Xx

To the ladies with bad thirst, I had a terrible headache for two days over the weekend and realised it was dehydration! I drink a lot of water but I evidently need to up my intake even more as now my head is fine. Downside, I've woken up most nights this week at 3-4am desperate for a wee!

AGnu · 13/04/2017 01:05

Harriet Flowers

I'm the complete opposite thirst-wise. Before DH came home at 18.30 today I'd had one cup of hot water & one glass of cold water. I've since had another glass & am on my second hot water but it's still not as much as I should be drinking. Liquids just seem to make me queasy atm. Also food. And not eating. Can I be put into a medically induced coma for the next month or 2 until it all goes away?!

Got my booking in appt tomorrow. DH is working from home for the day so hopefully he'll pester me with food & drink. Is it booking in where they take bloods? Need to make sure I drink plenty beforehand - don't want them having trouble getting the needle in because I'm too dehydrated! Last time I was pregnant & they took blood I felt a weird warm sensation & looked down just as she said "don't look" to see blood trickling down my arm & onto my shoe! Apparently it was a faulty valve in the tube. I still blame the midwife though but I already had issues with her after she shouted at me that DS1 was going to be stillborn while I was wanting to push. He was fine, she just couldn't get herself in a good position to monitor his heartbeat because she had a bad back & I needed to be on all fours. I wrote & requested she not deal with me after that. I also checked when I made my booking appt that she doesn't still work there so I'm feeling slightly less anxious about tomorrow than I might otherwise have been!

Booking in day for me! on a friends advice I brought it forward as they are apparently notoriously slow at issuing scan dates...

Rather nervous this morning surprisingly, i'm usually bomb proof at everything else in life.

I'm still remaining pretty symptomless, odd moment of nausea, boobs a bit tender, only major thing going on is I'm still waking up anytime after 3:30am and can't get back to sleep.

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 13/04/2017 08:51

Good luck @MrsC1982! I had mine on Tuesday and was really confused by the fact they didn't do any kind of pregnancy test - so I could just have been a delusional fantasist or in it for the maternity exemption certificate!
Other than that, nothing too exciting happened.
My urine was way too diluted (I'm paranoid about UTIs so drink about 3litres of water a day) for testing, but I'm low risk everywhere else which is nice.

Now I have my private scan on Easter morning and I can't wait! There are so many fraternal twins on my dad's side of the family that I just need to know how many babies are in there and if everything looks ok.
