I see there's a thread for early November due dates but I can't see that anyone's started one for the later dates yet. Not sure yet if this one will stick around but if it does it'll be our DC3, due around the 18th.

Someone come chat to me?!

Yeah I found out the weekend before last so I was only 4 weeks on the nose! Feel like it's been forever already and it's only been a week and a half 😂😂
Yeah I didn't have any symptoms at all last week apart from a few twinges/cramps then it's just really been yesterday and today that the nausea has started and the boobs are sore!
I've had cramps and random pains since I got my BFP durezidal - unless it's constant and/or severe I don't think it's anything too much to worry about?

HopingForALittleOne · 17/03/2017 10:55

Hello I'm staying at my parents this week as I'm looking after their dog while they are on holiday. My dad doesn't know I'm pregnant yet ( he is a worry wart and me and my mum decided we would let him enjoy his holiday first hehe) . So he bought loads of food shopping for me and then proudly gave me a tour of the kitchen opening fridge and cupboards reeling off all the food. I was feeling so nauseous and so felt like throwing up!! Luckily he randomly bought crackers so have munched on a few of them which helps Confused

Foggymist · 17/03/2017 12:32

DuRezidal I get shooting round ligament pains in bed at night, some of them are like a knife across me, has me wincing and gasping in pain!

Anybody got any good app recommendations? I have Ovia which I used last time but I like info/reading so wouldn't mind another.

CiCiClementine · 17/03/2017 12:53

Everyone’s pregnancy is different so symptoms vary but I have been suffering from terrible nausea for at least three weeks and would estimate that I am around 6 weeks now; it’s just getting worse and worse.
I feel like I really want to be sick to get rid of the feeling but then remember that this isn’t a stomach bug and it’s not likely to shift after 48 hours of sickness! Apart from that, I have bad stomach cramps, get hit by a wave of tiredness at about 4pm and keep crying so am an absolute joy to live with! This is our first pregnancy and after feeling absolutely ecstatic when we got a positive result, we are both now hoping that this will pass as unfortunately it is rather clouding my happiness at the moment. But it’s all part of the journey! Wink

CiCiClementine · 17/03/2017 12:54

and regarding apps, i have downloaded what to expect but it's a little cheesy; i have also bought The Bump Class and How to push a Baby out but neither are hitting the spot at the moment!

Kristen83 · 17/03/2017 13:31

CiCiClementine, I have got a few apps as i just wanted to try them out and see which ones works for me and I can say Pregnancy + seems the best so far for me!

stuckinny · 17/03/2017 14:00

I've downloaded Pregnancy + after a MN recommendation. I also have Nurture.

I woke up this morning feeling quite woozy. I'm hoping it's just because I didn't get much sleep. Was going to go to the gym tonight after work but I think I might just go in the morning instead.

Foggymist · 17/03/2017 14:10

@Kristen83 I've downloaded that one, looks great, thanks for the tip!

MrsAlexKarev · 17/03/2017 14:20

Hi all. Just got my BFP.. I am a little shell-shocked to say the least - I am on the pill & we weren't trying.
This will be DC4. I have a 4 year old, 2.5 year old and a 9 month old. So a little worried with how I'm going to cope.
Anyway I was hoping to find a chat as I have obviously told DP but I don't really have anyone else to talk to!
Hope you're all getting on ok :)

NoCatsHere · 17/03/2017 15:56

Eep congrats I guess mrsalex although i can imagine a huge shock as you were on the pill! I'm sure you will actually cope really well, but i guess it'll take time to get your head around it.

I'm so bloated, I'm quite slim with totally no boobs (thanks dc1&2!!) and so it doesn't take much for my belly to stick out but this is ridiculous. I look about 12 weeks already, granted worse in the afternoon/eve. Need to be clever with hiding the belly bloat.

I also keep getting cramp like feelings, but pretty sure it's just that you really do notice every little twinge when you know your pregnant.

MrsGB2225 · 17/03/2017 16:00

Can I join please?
Currently: 4+3
EDD: 21 November
Number 2 (already have a 2yo)

I was pretty oblivious to things with our first son, but this time I'm worrying so much.
Can't wait for the 12 week scan

Foggymist · 17/03/2017 16:27

@MrsGB2225 we're similar, I'm 4+4 and have an almost 2 year old Smile

Mummyagainmaybe · 17/03/2017 17:21

Will have to read this thread more closely when the 2yr old DD isn't creating mayhem.

Tested positive this morning as ya can see. Very faint positive but apparently due Nov 17th.

Congratulations everyone and good luck. Will be back to check when things are a bit saner in our house later x

MrsGB2225 · 17/03/2017 17:27

foggymist - im hoping it will be quite a nice gap & dc1 will understand more and maybe even help fetch stuff (wishful thinking I know!)

Foggymist · 17/03/2017 17:29

My ds adores babies and his baby doll, we were just joking last night that he better master putting the nappy on his doll by November and help out! Smile

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 17/03/2017 21:22

Congratulations to the newcomers Smile I've just removed my belly bar for the first time in almost a decade - now this pregnancy feels official!

I've also got my booking appointment on 11th April, so counting down the days until then

Foggymist · 17/03/2017 21:43

NiceCuppa why have you removed it so early?? I took mine out at 33 weeks last time (4 weeks before he was born) because it was rubbing on my over bump jeans, put it back in two weeks after he was born!

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 17/03/2017 21:46

I want to give it a chance to heal as a friend of mine only took it out around 28 weeks and hers ended up tearing.
I don't mind if it closes up, but I honestly don't know what I'd do if mine ripped.

Foggymist · 17/03/2017 21:50

If it's open ten years it probably won't close up, they can tear whether it's removed or not, its the bit of skin that's already been separated and weakened that stretches. Mine tore slightly but isI unnoticeable now, the bit of skin the bar goes under. And I had a tiny bump, it's luck of the draw.

Foggymist · 17/03/2017 21:50

Actually mine stretched, didn't tear.

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 17/03/2017 21:56

Suppose it's a small price to pay even if it does tear, I'm going to do my best with vitamin e cream, bio oil, etc though.
My mum has terrible stretch marks so I suspect my skin is going to be similarly non-elastic.

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 17/03/2017 22:16

So as not to panic anyone with a piercing, I checked with my friend.
She only gained a stone in the first 26 weeks, then almost 6 stone in the next three months which she thinks was the main cause of the problem as it was pretty rapid expansion!

HopingForALittleOne · 17/03/2017 22:29

Oh lord I've just read the last few threads - I have a belly bar eek! I was planning on keeping it in for a bit longer but was wondering what would happen. Little bit scared to hear of tearing eek.

Foggymist · 17/03/2017 22:34

Honestly mine is fine, I only took mine out because it got caught funny on my over bump jeans when I'd sit in car etc, it didn't hurt or anything, just got a bit itchy. Took it out, put it back when he was two weeks old and it's still fine two years later. I didn't have much of a bump until 32+ weeks, I put on 3 stone but 2 of that was rapid swelling at the end. Bellybutton bar/skin is one of the more minor side effects, not worth worrying about!

Foggymist · 17/03/2017 22:35

NiceCuppa SIX stone?? Woahhh, that'd stretch a piercing without any pregnant bump!
