I see there's a thread for early November due dates but I can't see that anyone's started one for the later dates yet. Not sure yet if this one will stick around but if it does it'll be our DC3, due around the 18th.

Someone come chat to me?!

Teaandpjs I've had that a couple of times the last 10 days or so, went in to panic mode when it happened last week then it stopped and today I had it a tiny bit. Not sure what it is some things online suggest it's your mucus plug forming? But I don't know. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about xx

TeaAndPjs · 06/04/2017 16:37

I have no pain etc so not worried as such, just never experienced it before and wondered if it was normal

butterybollocks · 06/04/2017 16:56

@foggymist if you're eating salad you're doing a lot better than I am! All I want is carbs!

I've ventured to London for meetings today, my first trip anywhere for a few weeks. On the train home now and feeling pretty awful. Can't wait to lie on the sofa all evening! Boss has said I can avoid any travel or meetings if I want to and just hide out at home but I feel guilty cancelling everything!

Foggymist · 06/04/2017 17:24

Buttery it's purely because I'm craving the crunch of the salad, the rest of my diet is carbs!! Last time I craved apples and went off chocolate (gasp), hopefully I'll get a similar cravings this time!

MrsGB2225 · 06/04/2017 17:38

I'm sorry November, wish you could have got a scan today. The waiting must be torture. I've had friends that had period like bleeding through their pregnancies and everything was fine. One didnt even know she was pregnant until almost 4 months!

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 06/04/2017 17:45

@butterybollocks, I've also had to head to London today for meetings and I really hadn't factored in the pendalino rocking! Also forgot my barley sugar (they seem to help with sickness) so ended up eating Murray mints and groaning to myself.

To cap it all off, post meeting we had a client lunch in a really lovely tapas place where it was decided we'd just get loads of dishes to share - which involved goats cheese, liver, rare beef and lamb, blue cheese... you name it, if it's on the avoid list it was there.
I'm only 6+6 and don't want work to know yet so I had to spend the entire time talking/waving a fork rather than eating and try and nab as much as the bread as possible.
Fortunately the colleague I was with is a slightly oblivious bloke so I don't think he caught on.

Hope everything is okay with you @NovemberBaby2017, and everyone else. Fingers crossed for your scan

Hello, thought I would join the conversation as have been lurking for a couple of days. I am pregnant with no. 3 (due 13/11) having recently had an mmc in December... I am an old mum (nearly 40!) and have had a significant amount of bleeding/clots but had a positive scan at 7+2 on Monday with a heartbeat. Am completely paranoid about having another mc as am so old Grin and not sure if we would try again as we are not sure about how we are going to cope with no. 3! having said that I am super excited that it might finally be happening. I conceived really quickly with DS1 and 2 so this is all new to me. and yes @Mummyosborne1983 I am STILL POAS every few days Blush. Big love to all of you waiting for early scans x

Mummyosborne1983 · 06/04/2017 20:50

@user1489352197 glad I'm not the only one!! I just want my 12 week scan now!

Today I was so sick... I'm constantly exhausted... funny how you forget these bits!! Xx

Zampa · 06/04/2017 21:50

Foggy I had an apple craving today. The acid sharpness really helped relieve my sickness.

I have given in and bought bigger trousers! Just one size up. It took me until about 10 weeks last time to trade up but only 6+3 atm! Such a fatty. I blame DD for not giving me any time to exercise!

TeaAndPjs · 06/04/2017 21:57

I'd love to be having cravings just to eat, past 2 days I've been off food, every time I go to eat I feel yucky and can't stomach it!

harrietm87 · 06/04/2017 22:40

Argh I'm still in the office and so so so tired! And have eaten my body weight in crap so also feeling gross. Still no nausea for me but am just so exhausted 😭😭💤💤

Zampa · 07/04/2017 07:01

Hope that you eventually got home, Harriet.

Starting to think my sickness might actually be a stomach bug. Awake all night with a sore tummy and felt like throwing up all day, yesterday. Anyone else feel like that?

lydiangel83 · 07/04/2017 08:01

I travel in to London for work every day and can't wait until I can get a baby on board badge and get a seat on the train!

I'm debating whether to ask midwife for early scan as we will be on holiday for weeks 11 and 12 and I'd like peace of mind before we go. Both hubby and I are very cautious (nervous!) and he thinks wait until we are back so we can enjoy our holiday in blissful ignorance!

Thoughts?!

modelcat · 07/04/2017 08:16

I totally recommend getting an early scan for anyone anxious (or just impatient!). I differ from GAD and the early scans give me peace of mind. It's also lovely to have that tiny first picture. Our DS scans are on the fridge and he knows the earliest one as 'peanut DS'

Bleeding stopped so I'm feeling more positive. Midwife was so lovely and reassuring- said it's totally normal to get spotting, in case that helps anyone else :)

modelcat · 07/04/2017 08:16

*suffer not differ!

lydiangel83 · 07/04/2017 08:34

That's great news @modelcat! I am keen I think for early scan although not sure midwife will agree to it, I will ask her and see what she says!

Foggymist · 07/04/2017 08:39

Zampa I had a stomach bug when 7-8 weeks pregnant with ds, omg it was miserable. At first I thought it was just morning sickness /pregnancy related but the awful stomach cramps made it dawn on.me it was a bug. I've never been so happy to have a stomach bug and realise it would be over soon and wasn't liable to go on for weeks/months!

Zampa · 07/04/2017 09:20

I hope that it is a tummy bug as seriously can't carry on like this! On holiday next week (in the UK) and will be gutted if this sickness spoils it.

butterybollocks · 07/04/2017 09:37

@zampa that does sound like a bug and there's a lot around at the moment. I guess you'll know if it settles in a day or two as tummy bugs are normally over pretty quickly.

I could really do with bigger trousers! I'm going to have to buy bigger bras this weekend. I seem to remember only wearing non under wired ones in my last pregnancy but can't remember why or whether that was all the way through or just towards the end... Any thoughts anyone?

Hopeful25 · 07/04/2017 09:51

Great news modelcat xxx

I bought a pair of trousers one size up to help with bloating and I also bought a sports bra last week and I have been wearing that as underwire bra felt uncomfortable xx

GingerHanna · 07/04/2017 10:03

I bought a bra two cup sizes up when I was six weeks and yesterday went for maternity jeans. Nearly got normal jeans in a size up but my sister advised to just take the plunge as all being well I'll need th anyway. So glad I did!

Topsyloulou · 07/04/2017 11:11

I'm heading out to buy next size up jeans at lunch. These ones are digging in so much I'm sat at my desk with them undone. Just need to remember to do them up when I stand up!

Foggymist · 07/04/2017 11:13

I'm in my biggest pair of jeans, they're just a too loose pair of stretchy jeans in my normal size but everything else is so tight because I've been eating so much :(

kimblesj · 07/04/2017 11:39

Had my scan this morning and there is a little bean with a heartbeat. Sonographer wasn't very nice, I cried the whole way through the scan and she essentially said everything looks fine but we couldn't really tell if it didn't anyway. So I'm happy I have seen the baby who measures a few days behind but don't feel any more reassured at the same time.

Foggymist · 07/04/2017 12:07

Kimbles why don't you feel reassured? There's a heartbeat which is great, only a few days out is also fine, how far alongare are you at the moment? My sonographer said because I was measuring 6+6 (dates 7+1) she wants me back in 3 weeks because we could see hardly anything, just a tiny tiny blob. But because the heartbeat was strong she wasn't concerned, theres just so little to see early on.
