I see there's a thread for early November due dates but I can't see that anyone's started one for the later dates yet. Not sure yet if this one will stick around but if it does it'll be our DC3, due around the 18th.

Someone come chat to me?!

Buttery - sending out good vibes/prayers that you find some peace in all this.

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 04/04/2017 04:14

Thinking of you @butterybollocks, I really hope everything is ok

kimblesj · 04/04/2017 08:01

Hope all has settled buttery?
I have had some spotting on wiping this morning so I'm starting to freak out. We have a scan on Friday so just waiting it out in the mean time. Was meant to have bloods today but will rearrange them for next week in case this is the end of the pregnancy.
I know spotting can be normal but I feel bad about this

butterybollocks · 04/04/2017 09:44

Thanks everyone. No more red blood, just a few little brown bits. Desperately hoping that's it. Still have most of my symptoms.

GP wants to see me so they can make a referral to epu so I have to go to the surgery late morning and wait to be seen.

Have taken today off work as I feel like I need to just rest, so have told my boss exactly what's going on, she's been lovely about it and told me to just look after myself.

Hope everyone is ok today.

MrsGB2225 · 04/04/2017 10:33

It's good you have today off work to look after yourself. It sounds like you have a lovely boss! Did the GP say how long the epu referral would take?

butterybollocks · 04/04/2017 12:14

Been to the docs and my lovely gp saw me almost straight away. They've booked me a scan for tomorrow morning - really quick because an appt had just come free due to a cancellation. GP said to prepare ourselves that such an early scan may not give any clear answers and just said to rest.

Very grateful for the NHS.

NoCatsHere · 04/04/2017 12:28

kimblesj hopefully that is just all it is and small bit of spotting. Glad you have a scan on friday. Hope you're ok.

buttery good news to no more blood and to your boss being amazing, such a relief i should think. hope you get seen by the eps and they can put your mind at ease.

Well I'm exactly 7 weeks today i think. One day past when i miscarried last time so feeling better about that. Now have the 12 week milestone to hit. One day at a time i think...

NoCatsHere · 04/04/2017 12:29

Thats great buttery how many weeks are you?

stuckinny · 04/04/2017 13:17

Buttery I'm glad you got some good news. Your GP and boss both sound lovely.

I feel like I've been hit by a freight train today. DS and DP have both had the cold that's been doing the rounds. I thought I'd escaped it but it got me last night. Anyone got any good tips for things to take?

TeaAndPjs · 04/04/2017 14:20

buttery glad it's stopped and that you've got scan for Tomor! Hope it all works out ok!

My heads all over the place from yesterday's scan, I'm worried that this is another MC and petrified if it is twins (but excited too)

butterybollocks · 04/04/2017 14:41

NoCats I'm 7+1.

Stuck colds are horrible! Good old fashioned head over a bowl of steam can help.

Tea fingers crossed for you. Kimble hope your scan goes OK, i bet this week is going slowly for you.

Foggymist · 04/04/2017 14:59

Stuckinny I have a desperate cold too, such a bad cough. I have low level constant nausea which is rotten but I keep telling myself it's very minor, at this stage in my last pregnancy I had a vomiting bug.

Private scan this evening, so we'll finally see if everything is progressing normally or not.

stuckinny · 04/04/2017 15:08

Lots of scans over the next few days. Fingers crossed for everyone.

I hope you don't mind me sharing but I had a proud mum moment yesterday. DS (10) took the bus home from school rather than going to after school club. By the time I got home he'd made himself a smoothie and was sitting doing his homework. I was expecting him to be playing basketball (he has a hoop on the back of the door) or on his iPad.

MrsGB2225 · 04/04/2017 15:12

I had that cough and cold that has been going around... it lasted 2 weeks!
When's your next scan tea? Twins would be tough at the beginning, but hopefully they will then entertain each other (wishful thinking!)
I'm so behind with all the booking in stuff. Because I've just moved I haven't even had the gp appointment for midwife referral. I'm having it tomorrow when I'll be 7+1. Hopefully there isn't a back log for scans!

HopingForALittleOne · 04/04/2017 15:56

I had my private scan today - all looks good and it just seemed incredible being able to see my little one and it's heartbeat on the monitor! Good luck to others who have tangier scans coming up xxx

HopingForALittleOne · 04/04/2017 16:37

their scans - not sure how predictive text did that!!

harrietm87 · 04/04/2017 16:48

hoping how many weeks are you?

DryHeave · 04/04/2017 16:51

I have a booking on date at last - finally someone wants to know I'm pregnant! 18th April.

And because I phoned the midwife line I also have a new EDD of 18 November. I'd used the last day of my last period, not the first. Date makes more sense with ovulation as well. So I'm now 7 weeks & 3 or 4 days depending on who you believe.

harrietm87 · 04/04/2017 16:53

I just got a scan appt for next week when I'll be 7+4 - will they be able to see anything/find a heartbeat?

Foggymist · 04/04/2017 17:07

@harrietm87 yes if dates are correct and everything is as it should be they should see heartbeat and a general sac/baby-ish shaped thing.

harrietm87 · 04/04/2017 17:09

Lol at babyish shape foggy! That's good to know!

Topsyloulou · 04/04/2017 17:55

Sorry to hear about those having an anxious wait for answers, hopefully you'll get them soon & they'll be positive.

I finally heard back from the midwife today, my booking in appointment is on 12th when I'll be 9+3. Hoping it won't delay the 12 week scan. She's going to push for me to have an early scan as well because of my history of mcs. Think there is a baby boom in our area, she's got 20 booking in appointments to schedule which is crazy considering I'm in such a small rural area.

I told work yesterday, I was due to attend an activity on Friday where the only barrier to attending is pregnancy! My boss was lovely & gave me a big hug. I haven't told anyone else at work but one of my colleagues had a dream last night that I was pregnant & had the most beautiful girl she'd ever seen! If it is a girl that will be very spooky!

kimblesj · 04/04/2017 18:09

All is fine I think, just a bit of pink on wiping once first thing this morning. I just panic after everything that happened last time with Finley. I had a lot of early bleeding most days really which was the first sign of issues so it really is a trigger for me. I know I'm being over precious but I'm automatically thinking I must have a haemorrhage behind my placenta or something.
I need to remind myself that this morning wasn't even obviously blood it was just a bit of pink and I haven't seen it again and lots of people experience it.

Buttery I truly have fingers crossed for you xx
