Mid-Late November due dates

AGnu · 13/03/2017 16:35

I see there's a thread for early November due dates but I can't see that anyone's started one for the later dates yet. Not sure yet if this one will stick around but if it does it'll be our DC3, due around the 18th.

Someone come chat to me?!

Oh stuck I hope that Friday brings answers for you.

Lovely to hear about all the early scans going well. Hoping my midwife will make me
One when I see her tomorrow.

Today at work has been a nightmare, I'm bloated to look about 5 months pregnant, I have felt dizzy and sick on a few occasions and really quite warm at times. My sense of smell is causing havoc in the shared office kitchen.
I'm embracing all the symptoms this time but really really don't want anyone to know until at least 16 weeks and hoping for 24!!! It's already tough to hide Confused

Mummyosborne1983 · 29/03/2017 20:52

@stuck I'm so sorry to hear your news and hope Friday brings better news. Will be thinking of you xxx

DuRezidal · 29/03/2017 21:06

@Stuckinstressville how many weeks are you at the moment?

Stuckinstressville · 29/03/2017 21:11

Durezi. I thought I was about 6 weeks so the fact the uterus was empty leads me think chemical or reabsorbed?

The epu lady saw me with ds 1 at 6+3 with pain( fibroid) , with my mmc in dec2016 and today and remembered me. So kind- bloods today and then fri with poss scan lined up too. These nhs staff are legends!

DuRezidal · 29/03/2017 21:20

Hopefully the bloods will tell you exactly what is going on. It could be that you are just earlier than you think as 4 weeks would be difficult to see even for an experienced sonographer.

MrsC1982 · 30/03/2017 06:29

Hey ladies, could I join please!

34 TTC#1 EDD 28/11

So far only symptoms are shockingly sore breasticles!

Having a mare already trying to hide it from colleagues & friends...

lydiangel83 · 30/03/2017 07:48

I'm really sorry to hear about the hard times that people are having :( thinking of you and hoping for the best.

I'm fine apart from feeling very sick and sore boobies too. I'm a bit worried about nutrition as have been only eating chocolate and plain toast/ pasta for weeks. I had blood test as am vegetarian and wanted to check iron levels and came back as low vit d. Not sure why and hopefully no real implications but will probably have to take a supplement in addition to the Pregnacare multi vit.

Has anyone else had this and is anyone else worried about getting nutrients to their little peppercorn?!

Only told parents so far and also struggling to hide it with boozy friends/ demanding colleagues!

Kristen I've put you in date order! I was twitching looking at the list!

On my last ante-natal group, we had a shared Google spreadsheet so we could share our general geographical location, scan dates, guess the sex etc. We posted the link in the first post of every thread. I'll set it up if people are keen?

Lydia worry not - at this stage and throughout pregnancy the babies leech all they need from your stores. I was pleasantly surprised when ds was born he was not pesto colour as that was all I ate for months I swear! Pesto pasta! Take vitamins though !

GingerHanna · 30/03/2017 09:24

Sounds like a good plan @Zampa

GingerHanna · 30/03/2017 09:27

I've told a few people since the scan yesterday. Family, close friends and a few key folks at work. Meeting the boss at 13:00 to tell her. Leaving off anyone else until the end of next week - that's when I'll be 8 weeks for sure and the risk of mc is right down to 5%. DH feels more comfortable with that so I'll take his lead... he is right and I felt it when I was looking at the various free pregnancy boxes etc that you can order online. Just don't feel ready to do all that yet.

Feeling so exhausted today. And sick. And unable to eat any of my usual fixes. We're meant to be going to a concert in Amsterdam tonight but it's a 1.5 hour journey each way and I'm just not sure I'm up to it. I think DH would be happy if I said I was too exhausted as he doesn't really fancy the travelling either. It's annoying as we booked the tickets six months ago and rarely go to concerts or big nights out. Certainly won't be able to in seven months time!

allthecoffee · 30/03/2017 09:31

Can I add myself please? I ate everything in sight yesterday in an attempt to stop myself feeling sick... I really wanted to not put on as much as with my last pregnancy but I can't see that happening!

I feel yuk today. I think I've picked up a bit of a tummy bug that's doing the rounds at my daughter's school and I've got the runs. Also keep waking up at 2am, 3am ish and struggling to get back to sleep.

Called the docs yesterday and made my booking in appt. Receptionist was lovely and said congrats, but tbh I'm still so worried about a mc that I felt a bit of a fraud even making the appt.

Hope everyone is doing OK.
stuck, am thinking of you and sending positive vibes your way. It's such a rollercoaster.

AGnu · 30/03/2017 09:44

I panicked this morning when I woke up & my breasts weren't eye-wateringly painful. They are still sore possibly because I keep poking them & I am still having a weird hungry-sick feeling so I'm trying to be vaguely rational & glad I'm not in agony every time I move! Had a weird moment in the shower earlier & thought I was going to faint. It was probably the shower being a bit hot & my arms being over my head while washing my hair & probably not caused by massive internal bleeding from a painless ruptured ectopic... I do have a tendency to jump to worst case scenario! Blush

My midwife called me last night, my booking in appointment isn't until I'm gone 11 weeks! That seems really late to me, is that normal now? I'm sure my last one was about 9 weeks and they apologised for that being late!

Foggymist · 30/03/2017 10:05

I keep getting the most unbelievable stretching/muscle pains amd abdominal ache at night, it was so painful for hours lying in bed last night that I nearly considered taking paracetamol, took some last week so was slow to. Then when the pain stopped ds was up for the next 2-3 hours, I'm so tired!!

lydiangel83 · 30/03/2017 10:06

I'm happy with the spreadsheet idea, was also thinking that geographic location may be nice :)

I am still waiting for a mid wife to call me let alone anything else arranged - am I behind (think I'm about 5+3 today). Also feel like a fraud, feels weird to say out loud that I'm pregnant! Feels like I'm talking about someone else!

I'm glad to hear it's normal to be focused on one food type, mine diet is marmite on toast, chocolate, haribo and pasta with cheddar!

Morning ladies! Hope all is well with everyone! My symptoms are more or less gone but don't expect that to last, I get a dull achey cramp now and again and boobs are sore but note overly unless I bump them etc bit other than that I feel pretty normal!! This scan better hurry up next week so I don't start worrying

@lydiangel83 you're not behind at all, 5 weeks is early to have it organised. I confirmed pregnancy with gp at 6+3, I would've left it another week or two but I just wanted to get it out of the way as I was dreading it. All the admin/hospital stuff is just a boring, tedious, stressful necessity, nothing to make me excited to rush into organising it!

Reposting to include Hazandduck with Allthecoffee and MrsC as I think Hazandduck used older version that didn't have everyone on :)

Kaydee2017 · 30/03/2017 13:17

All go for me this week! Had to call & change my 16 week midwife appt as i think she miscounted & booked me at almost 18 weeks, which seemed a long time from 12 week scan! So brought that forward a week, then called today & got my 12 week scan date for the first week of May Smile Hopefully booking an early one at the weekend for next week some time too!

Coffee is there no way you can get an appointment earlier? Booking is fine up to 12 weeks (my notes say ideally by 10 weeks), but doesn't leave you much time to get a 12 week scan date sorted, as they can only do some of the testing up until 13+6 I think?

Hope everyone else is well!

Still thinking of you stuck Flowers

allthecoffee · 30/03/2017 13:33

Kaydee Unfortunately not but I spoke to my midwife last night and she has said she's going to send the scan request prior to my booking in appointment so I will get my scan in time. I told her I'm not too worried about the booking in appointment (as I remember it just being a lot of admin before) but I was concerned in case she sent the scan request at that time and then I couldn't have my tests done in time.

I guess they must be really stretched here as I registered my pregnancy quite early, I'm glad I didn't leave it until later now! We've booked an early scan for the 13th April so at least we have that in time. Smile

So exciting to have your first scan date though!
