Mid-Late November due dates

I see there's a thread for early November due dates but I can't see that anyone's started one for the later dates yet. Not sure yet if this one will stick around but if it does it'll be our DC3, due around the 18th.

Someone come chat to me?!

Will do as have an early scan tomorrow but will they be able to date me ?

Foggymist · 25/03/2017 08:12

Yes they will of course organix, they'll go by the size/development stage of what they see.

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 25/03/2017 08:56

I'm getting a bit jealous of people who have an early scan booked, but I'm only 5+1 at the moment so not sure there would be anything to see of my little peppercorn.
My booking appointment is in a couple of weeks, does anyone know if the scan gets booked in then? Once I know the date of that, I can decide if I want to book a private one I guess.

Symptom wise, I just attempted to eat scrambled eggs and have now retreated to the bathroom after a couple of mouthfuls!

Hope everyone is doing ok

MrsGB2225 · 25/03/2017 09:00

Has anyone told their parents yet? I'm telling mine on Mother's Day... so excited!

Zampa · 25/03/2017 09:06

I've been resisting joining the thread (although have been lurking some time) as ultra paranoid about this pregnancy.

DD1 was born prematurely and has at 22 months still has significant developmental delay, possibly just due to brain damage caused by bleeding on the brain but maybe due to a genetic issue. She's undergoing genetic testing but all investigations negative so far.

All our scans with DD1 showed no issues so going to be a worrier until this one turns up (and also anxious about reoccurrence of pre-eclampsia and PGP!)

I'm going to need your support!

Foggymist · 25/03/2017 09:07

NiceCuppa I'm not in UK but here my gp will send referral letter to the hospital and they'll send out appt date for scan/bloods/midwife appt, around 12-15 weeks.

Haven't told a soul yet, won't tell my parents until at least after early scan, possibly wait until late April or 12 weeks in May. I will be insisting we hold out as long as possible before telling inlaws, mil hassled and touched me from the day we told her last time and that was at 15weeks, so we will be delaying the inevitable.

Foggymist · 25/03/2017 09:08

@Zampa I had pre e too, very nervous and anxious about it recurring too.

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 25/03/2017 09:23

Thanks @Foggymist, I might get a private one then as I's quite like to have one before telling anyone.
DM and DMIL both have their birthdays in just over a month, and I've found the perfect gift to break the news (in the attached photo)

I'm tempted to say something tomorrow @MrsGB2225 but paranoia is holding me back. Once DMIL knows, the news will be out and it will be unstoppable, but DH says I can't tell my side and not his.

Mummyagainmaybe · 25/03/2017 10:55

Everyone knows in our families now. DP is far from discreet!

lelygirl · 25/03/2017 11:03

I'm 5+1, other than very sore boobs and tiredness I've no other symptoms. Is this normal at this stage?

stuckinny · 25/03/2017 11:15

We are going to wait until after the harmony test. We want to be sure everything is okay before telling family. Then we'll tell my DS and probably think of a way for him to tell parents and siblings. With a bit of luck I'll be able to get a test date when I see the dr this week.

NoCatsHere · 25/03/2017 11:31

Lelygirl it's so normal not to have any symptoms at all. Both my last pregnancies I had none, it's odd in a way but really lucky! You may still get some, it's early days so try not to worry!

Foggymist · 25/03/2017 12:01

Lelygirl you havehave three symptoms, don't forget not having your period is the main symptom. It's common to not even have sore boobs etc at this stage, I have basically no symptoms so far.

Mummyagainmaybe · 25/03/2017 12:28

My last pregnancy I had no knowledge of until I was 10 weeks gone. No symptoms at all. I only tested as my period had taken even longer than usual. So don't worry x

DryHeave · 25/03/2017 13:45

I've decided to tell my mum and dad tomorrow - it's early, but if the worst happens I would want their support anyway. I took another test today just to be sure and the positive popped up before the 'tide' reached the control panel. I feel a bit off colour & my boobs are painful and feel much firmer.

I am seeing friends I don't see often during April so the news is bound to come out quietly - one has already said she can't wait to catch up so when I'm not drinking it's going to be obvious!

NoCatsHere · 25/03/2017 14:48

Dryheave (still my favourite name) the drinking thing for me is impossible to hide. It's a sure giveaway.

And yes to telling your parents, you definitely would want their support if it went wrong so I think telling close family is always s good idea.

Zampa · 25/03/2017 16:06

My first proper symptom has kicked in ... Being utterly horrible to poor old DH. I'm normally quite laid back!

I've told my best friend but that's it now until NIPT and first scan at 10 weeks (currently 4+4).

butterybollocks · 25/03/2017 17:09

@Zampa support is what we're here for :)

We won't be telling anyone for a while, am too nervous about something going wrong.

TeaAndPjs · 25/03/2017 17:53

nicecuppa where abouts in UK are You? I'm in Scotland, we don't see gp to register pregnancy, I phone MW booking line, they took my details gave me booking in app and 12 weeks scan app there and then over the phone!

Zampa · 25/03/2017 19:47

Thanks Buttery!

Happy Mothers to Be Day for tomorrow!

lelygirl · 25/03/2017 20:01

Thanks ladies 😊 just worried about everything lol

Foggymist · 25/03/2017 20:02

Tired (toddler doesn't help that), bloated, hungry but don't fancy eating anything, the joys! Keep telling myself it's just over a week until early scan when we'll see if there is indeed anything there and hopefully all will be fine and I can relax a bit.

thecrab · 25/03/2017 20:40

Hi there, I'm due #2 on 17th Nov got an early scan on 1st April which I'm nervous about as I'm always imagining the worst.
