Good luck with the scans everyone. If it helps, at my early scan the sonographer said your bladder doesn't need to be full to bursting!

Good luck to you too Lizzynick. Mine is at 12.20 today, it got moved from 8.30. Just want it to be here NOW! The info I got with my letter tells you to be 'comfortably full'! I never feel comfortable when I'm full, I'm either empty or full, there is no in between, oh well, as long as my dh can say he's proud of me too if I don't pee myself and I get a pic of my little sprout then everything will be ok. Thank you to everyone wishing me luck. I'm sure I will be back to let you know either way (please be a scan pic) xxx

Sorry to bring the tone down but I'm so constipated right now. Does anyone have any advice? What can I take to get things moving?

colourmylife - I have been adding flaxseeds and dates to my smoothies if that helps. And def drinking lots of water. But sometimes there seems to be no reason for my bouts of constipation - I am vegetarian, I eat enough fruit and veg!! x

I've been having a bowl of fruit and fibre every morning, that's made a big difference!

I was feeling pretty smug that for two weeks my sickness had calmed down, thought I had cracked it. Sitting here today however at 10+1 and feeling terrible at work, I've eaten, drunk water, sea bands on both wrists and still fighting urge to vomit. Miserable!!!

Prunes colour - and then more prunes! And extra veg & water.

Morning all!

Sorry I have been completely MIA for the last few weeks, life seems to have gotten crazy busy... which I guess is good for helping the time pass!

I also have my 12 week scan today ... currently 12+4 and am a weird mixture of excited and completely scared! The worst thing is my appointment isn't till 5.15 so have an entire day at work to get through first.

Congratulations to everyone who has had their scans and good luck to everyone else who has theirs today!

colourmylife I know how you feel! I have been suffering so badly and tried everything under the sun and found that the only thing that worked was having a veg curry on Saturday night!

11+2. Sooo tired today I can't think straight. Snuck home from work for a cheeky 20 minute nap. So apathetic too. Donald Trump could implode infront of me and I genuinely would not blink.

Help!! I have a migraine. Don't think I can take my regular medication. Will take paracetamol, but that doesn't even take the edge off usually. Anyone have any miracle tips?!

Does anyone know any painkillers that are safe to take with a paracetamol allergy? I'm getting a migraine and can't think of anything that's safe

9 + 1 today. Jealous of people here who are 13 weeks or so, a month makes a huge difference! Scan next week and getting nervous already.

On the plus side the nausea is going away slowly and I can eat/drink anything other than fanta lemon!

Good luck for everyone that has their scans today eeek mine is monday! I was just wondering how people are feeling around the 11 week mark? Any mild cramps? Sore boobs/nipples? Etc

I can imagine trying to explain that one!! Haha!

There's a herbal remedy called 4head that's the only thing I can suggest. I'm gonna get it to try it. It's sold in boots and superdrug

88claire and dancing have you tried cooling patches? You stick them on your forehead. I normally get migraines and don't like taking meds really and they help a lot. I think you can also use white tiger balm in pregnancy.

corri I'm 11+2 today and scan next Monday too - nausea much more manageable now but I started getting cramps again since yesterday - weird as haven't had any since about week 7. Hope that helps!

Glad to hear all ok with scans today. good to get more days under all our (ever tightening)belts!

Codeine is ok claire and dancing it's only later on they advise against it as can cause respiratory depression in babies but this is only relevant once they are born so I.e not in labour. Otherwise I'd recommend lying down in a dark room! I've had several migraines over last few weeks and sympathise they are horrible!

Finally got scan appointment it's 5th April when I'll be 12+2. So excited! (And slightly nervous).

No cramps corrinax and boobs/nipples sore but not as bad as they were. Been quite sick last few days but I think night shift related as have been feeling better.
