Hi......anyone out there just found out they're expecting? Thought it might be nice to start a little thread!
I've tested this morning and got a feint BFP, have recently had 2 m/c so may be being optimistic but I'm tired of worrying!! If it works out it works out!! Fingers crossed. If it's a sticky one I'm due bonfire night! 5/11/17.
Anyone else out there the same??Smile

I can't edit the doc on my phone but if someone wants to pop me on my due date (total guess) 6th nov 32yrs old team yellow in York

MrsMonkeyBear · 28/02/2017 10:39

oddsocks that's you added.

If anyone is having trouble let me know. I might be a bit slow at replying today as I'm trying getting through a weeks worth of housework.

Rufus200 · 28/02/2017 11:57

mrsmonkeybear thank you for doing the spreadsheet 😘

Rufus200 · 28/02/2017 12:01

I went to the GP this morning and was prescribed cyclizine. I'm only going to take it if I absolutely have to but as I could barely stand up on Sunday, I was so nauseous and dizzy and I'm home alone with DS a lot I need something as a back up. Can't take my nausea bands off, can only eat plain pancakes and plain pasta cooked in a stock cube. Going through packets of polo mints at the moment. I know it is going to get a lot worse. Didn't subside until 16wks with DS.
Dr was really off with me that I've booked at private scan at 6wks. I need to know what is going on in there. She made it clear she thought I was silly and it was too early.

inkybunny · 28/02/2017 12:34

I can't edit the sheet on mobile I think. I'm 29 (will be 30 when baby joins us if he or she waits until due date), in Warwickshire, team yellow (although feeling pink)!

MrsMonkeyBear · 28/02/2017 12:35

Rufus I'm permanently on cyclizine (emetaphobia sucks) and the side effects aren't as bad as throwing up. I take them as soon as I get up, lunchtime and before bed and I don't feel drowsy on them at all. I do recommend taking them before bed as I've rarely woken up feeling sick.

I'm already sporting the pink wristbands too. I've started putting a couple of drops of essential oil on them to sniff if I feel particularly pukey. I found mint, ginger and eucalyptus the best.

Porgey1 · 28/02/2017 12:52

Thank you MrsMonkeyBear! Added my details to the spreadsheet.

Brummiegirl15 · 28/02/2017 13:00

I can't edit on phone either so can I be cheeky and ask someone to add me
Brummiegirl15, 3rd Nov, 40, Worcestershire, DD1 14 months, team yellow.

Has anyone thought about paying for the non invasive harmony test at all for Downs? We are debating it due to our ages (40 and 47) although its £450 so not cheap!

JulyLady7 · 28/02/2017 13:36

I can't edit on my phone either! Stats are, ttc #1, edd Nov 2nd, 31, London. x

Rufus200 · 28/02/2017 14:16

I've added everyone. inkybunny what is your EDD?

Rufus200 · 28/02/2017 14:18

brummiegirl I thought the test was supposed to be being rolled out on the NHS now, or is that only for cases that abnormal on 12wk scan?

Brummiegirl15 · 28/02/2017 14:54

Test won't be available until 2018 and that's only women who come up as high risk on the 12 week scan

If you want it because you want it, it's a paid for job

MrsB2017 · 28/02/2017 15:43

I can't add myself either. I'm 1st November, 35, Milton Keynes, first baby and team yellow although I think team blue 💙

NoHayMasQueHoy · 28/02/2017 15:59

I can't add myself either, I'm 31 october, 33, Spain, DD3.

Last 2 days my sense of smell has appeared, and just a touch of nausea if I'm hungry or thirsty. Nuts ready by the bed for first thing in the morning Smile I've been here before Hmm Also I'm crazy thirsty all the time, and having little waves of tired essentially. I'm desperate hoping this one sticks (MrsB2017 it means doesn't miscarry), and that these are good signs, but I know it's too early to tell really. Argh.

Sammie12 · 28/02/2017 18:18

Hey

Just found out I am expecting was feint yesterday but this morning was defo a bfp! Exciting
Although have oddly got odd sensation of periods in lower pelvis and a heightened taste and smell eg love rare roast beef and over a week ago all I could taste was iron and it made me want to vomiting so I new something good was up! Also getting good a lot of gas that likes to surprise me with sick in mouth every 10 mins!

Any one else experiencing cramps like a period!!
Congrats all xx

Early November EDD
Porgey1 · 28/02/2017 19:16

Welcome Sammie12 and congratulations! I am definitely getting period style cramps, although subtly different to if I was actually starting my period. The cramps last longer but are less severe and less 'wave' like than when I have my period and whereas my period cramps feel like they are in the same place, these cramps are all lower abdomen, they aren't all in one place. Guess things instead are stretching already!

Sammie12 · 28/02/2017 19:26

Glad it's not just me, I keep having to go to the loo an check that I not come still don't seem real! It's my first ever pregnancy x

UnicornDust17 · 28/02/2017 21:39

Hello, ooh this thread is busy! I didn't manage to get on yesterday. Welcome to anyone newly joined and congrats Smile. I'll add myself to the doc as soon as I work out how! Haha
How is everyone? I've got a lot of aches going on and bloating and a few headaches (really suffered with these last time) but that's it. Nothing else yet. I say yet but I escaped without too many symptoms last time. I still haven't told you anyone yet Confused thought I'd better wait until officially late.

UnicornDust17 · 28/02/2017 21:40

It all seems a bit surreal at the moment Smile Smile

Oddsocksforeveryone · 28/02/2017 21:56

Thank you @MrsMonkeyBear :) this is my dc4 if we're counting.
I burped so loud at breakfast today I nearly made the baby cry. I'd forgotton about the pregnancy wind /bloat etc.
Definitely had cramps, my c section scar had been stinging but most of all I'd had backache all day. Definitely feels like there's something going on in there.
Anyone else getting terrible dry mouth?

MrsB2017 · 28/02/2017 22:09

I'm thirsty alllllll the time. Can't get enough water in me.

This is where I am at the mo
Backache
Mild cramps
Thirsty all the time
Sore boobs
Super sensitive nipples
Bloated
Cold like symptoms since I found out last week
Fatigue

But no morning sickness yet. Apparently is hereditary and my mum didn't get it so here's keeping my fingers crossed x

UnicornDust17 · 28/02/2017 22:21

sammie12 I keep doing that when going to the loo too haha Grin

UnicornDust17 · 28/02/2017 22:31

I added myself to the spreadsheet then sorted it by due date so I could see everyone's EDD, but not I can't unsort it - sorry MrsMonkeyBear Sad thanks for starting it Smile

MrsB12345 · 28/02/2017 22:48

Hi everyone. I've had to change my account details. I was mrsb2017 but now mrsb12345. Can someone update the spreadsheet for me. I'm on there already just need my name updating 😚xx

MedicineHat · 28/02/2017 23:32

Changed I think MrsB Smile

Hope everyone's doing well today!
