Hi......anyone out there just found out they're expecting? Thought it might be nice to start a little thread!
I've tested this morning and got a feint BFP, have recently had 2 m/c so may be being optimistic but I'm tired of worrying!! If it works out it works out!! Fingers crossed. If it's a sticky one I'm due bonfire night! 5/11/17.
Anyone else out there the same??Smile

Hi All & congrats! Can I join too please? Due 5th November with DC2 (won't be bonfire night for us as we live overseas). Already have DS aged 2.

So far just have a bit of breast tenderness, although that's gone down a bit today, and a bit of nausea if I don't eat regularly. Absolutely knackered already - might just be DS though!

Had a flare up of an old back injury yesterday - I think the hormones are already loosening everything up. Had to take co-codamol so I'm now worrying about that.

inkybunny · 26/02/2017 18:12

Hello all! Can I join you too? I found out on Thursday that our first little one will hopefully be joining us around 6th November - although women in my family usually go a week or so early, so I wouldn't be surprised to end up with an October baby.

Is it sinking in for anyone yet? I'm a mixture of utterly terrified (even though baby was very planned and is very wanted), delighted and convinced that it's all just a dream and I'm going to be very embarrassed that we've told our parents!

MrsG30 · 26/02/2017 18:47

Inkybunny - we are the same, very planned and desperately wanted - totally over the moon. We do look at each other occasionally though and go "holy f*ck this is for real!"

inkybunny · 26/02/2017 18:48

It's the weirdest feeling, isn't it? We went for a walk round Babies R Us earlier and I felt like such an imposter!

Jaronior · 26/02/2017 19:36

Hi everyone! Welcome to everyone that's joined today. This thread isn't just for early November due dates it's just that I couldn't start a thread when I got my BFP. Everyone in Nov welcome! I think I'll probably end up having the baby in Oct anyway as I've had 2 previous c sections and if all works out this time (2 previous m/c this year), I reckon they'll do it a week early!
I feel a bit 'wishy washy' today, bit sickly in the car but not sure if I'm imagining it. Last 2 that resulted in m/c's I had no sickness so I think I'm willing it to start!! Lol Confused

Welcome everyone! I've not had much in the way of symptoms yet... bit of queasiness, lower back pain, definite cramping and a LOT of "holy moly, are we seriously doing this again?!". Sounds like you and I are on the same schedule inkybunny... if I didn't have a avg 31 day cycle my EDD would be the 6th! With my DC the dating scan moved my due date seven days earlier and then he arrived ten days earlier than that, so I could well have an October baby if this one sticks!

Brummiegirl15 · 26/02/2017 19:53

I feel a bit stressed this afternoon. My DD is poorly, chest infection and second lot of conjunctivitis. None of us are getting any sleep. I'm on my knees with exhaustion and I really feel quite rough

Fuck, I'm 41, can I even cope with two????

Brummiegirl15 · 26/02/2017 19:53

I'll be 41 when it arrives, 40 now!!

Porgey1 · 26/02/2017 20:20

Brummiegirl15 sounds like you're having a tough weekend! Everything feels so much worse when you've not had any sleep, hopefully your DD will improve soon and you can get some much needed rest - I'm sure you'll feel more positive then. And of course you can cope with two... age has nothing to do with it! I'm sure we'll all feel daunted quite a bit over the next nine months (whether it's the first, second or third born!) although hopefully not all at the same time! X

Jaronior · 26/02/2017 20:22

You'll be great! We manage, we always do!! I have 2 kids and I'd be a liar if I hadn't thought 'shit, am I really doing this again at 38???!!!' I have a pretty full on job too so it's gonna be interesting! But hey, I can't think of anything better for my little family. I can't wait for us 4 to be us 5 ❤️ I have 2 DDs so a DS would be the icing on the cake if it happened. Although don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for whatever we are blessed with Smile

Completely agree Porgey1

UnicornDust17 · 26/02/2017 20:33

Hello everyone that's new and congrats! Smile Brummiegirl I feel a bit like that too Sad .
I've got mild aches , bloating and a constant headache (I really suffered with these last time), weirdly my hip and back was hurting today, sounds similar to you MedicineHat but could be completely coincidental!

Porgey1 · 26/02/2017 20:59

How strange UnicornDust17 , my right hip has been hurting today... could be completely unrelated and coincidental though, can't imagine that being 4 weeks pregnant would cause hip pain?!

Jaronior · 26/02/2017 21:05

I've just googled the exact same thing!!!! It's my right hip, top of bum and thigh. I was worried something wasn't right. I think it's to do with relaxin hormones or something?? Mine feels muscular though, almost hot??

OP posts:
UnicornDust17 · 26/02/2017 21:11

I know Porgey1 , it is strage. Can hormones really work this early jaronior?? --> off to Google too.... I wondered if I'd slept funny.

Jaronior · 26/02/2017 21:24

I'm struggling to believe they would affect us this early but i have read a few posts about it. My sleep has been rubbish lately so as you say- could be we've slept in a funny position. My dreams are crazy and so vivid- I'm pretty restless I think

OP posts:
inkybunny · 26/02/2017 21:43

I'm also struggling with hip pain - my mind is going into overdrive going "that's near my fallopian tubes, could it be ectopic?!"

FluttershyStare · 26/02/2017 21:55

Woah that is strange... my right hip has also been achey! I'd put it down to sitting in a funny position

Either that or it's come out in sympathy with the rest of you Grin

Jaronior · 26/02/2017 21:55

Shoulder blade pain for ectopic's I think inkybunny. Know what you mean though- I read into every pain and twinge!

This is weird though, but reassuring that we all have it and are all around the same EDD

OP posts:
inkybunny · 26/02/2017 22:05

Yes, I read that earlier! Tip of your shoulder apparently. Also accompanied by faintness and a few other symptoms.

I'm glad it's not just me - well, that sounds horrid, I'm not glad others are worried, but I'm glad we're all apparently normal!

Jaronior · 26/02/2017 22:12

Seems that way- as normal as we can be I guess!! Lol Confused That's why these threads are so good- we all worry about the same things, it's great to be able to talk about them and share x

MrsMonkeyBear · 27/02/2017 08:18

Can I join in too. I'm on the October board but with a due date of the 31st and as dd1 was late i feel that this one will be late too. (I pray it's late as my dds birthday is 1/11)

I'm 4+6 today and other than feeling a wee bit queasy I'm not doing to badly.

I've already got my booking in appointment on the 21/3 and scan is on the 20/4.

Our parents already know and I've told a couple of guys at work but mainly due to the nature of my job.

Oddsocksforeveryone · 27/02/2017 08:43

Missed a day because dd was screaming a lot (she's a screamer, and has amazing stamina lol) but she started saying Mama!
hello everyone and hope you are all well.

@Brummiegirl don't panic, just take it one day at a time. These tiny little souls, little people that we are making can be hard work but they are so full of joy. My life is chaos most of the time and I do get stressed but my 3dc honestly fill my heart with a happiness I never felt before. Spending time with them recharges me. Although I haven't slept for more than 3 hr's straight in 8 years so I may have gone a bit mad hatter lol.
Sorry that so many of us are having back pains and other aches and pains, rest if/when you can.
I'm going to have to see if there is a weight loss group I can join for support because I am rediculously overweight and dreading the midwife when I actually see her.

MedicineHat · 27/02/2017 11:21

Hope everyone's hip pains are getting better. Strange coincidence! My back is feeling better - didn't need coodamol yesterday. It's only early where I am though & I've got a day with a toddler ahead of me! Hats off to those of you who have more than one, you must be superwomen!

FluttershyStare · 27/02/2017 11:58

I'm wondering the same odd socks I can just imagine the look!

It's strange though, I'm finding myself not particularly hungry or in the mood for food so I'm taking it as it comes

My hip is much better today, even with having to walk what seems like miles at work already today
