Hi......anyone out there just found out they're expecting? Thought it might be nice to start a little thread!
I've tested this morning and got a feint BFP, have recently had 2 m/c so may be being optimistic but I'm tired of worrying!! If it works out it works out!! Fingers crossed. If it's a sticky one I'm due bonfire night! 5/11/17.
Anyone else out there the same??Smile

Hi mummyosborne, I'm from Cheshire too! Smile

Sorry to hear you are feeling so rough rufus. Your DS won't suffer any lasting damage if he has a few days of watching cbeebies and dvds while you try and recover.

Violet my booking appointment took 1 hr 45 mins. I've no idea why, a lot of my previous pregnancy details were in the computer already anyway!

booox · 27/03/2017 14:45

Wow pingu! she said there's a new computer so it'll take ages.

We have ofsted tomorrow. I've been asked to go in extra time tomorrow morning.

My mind is sludge. CBeebies has been on since 1.

We'd better bloody be outstanding or they're in on Weds too when I'm teaching!

Hazandduck · 27/03/2017 15:55

Hello everyone, I was on the late thread too, I'm so nervous to join any of these clubs before getting to 12 weeks but looking on here it seems a few of you have had miscarriages too and know how nervous I am feeling! This is pregnancy number 3 in the ten months since we decided to try for a baby (May 16!) Not holding out hope but at least we know after this miscarriage the doctors will do some testing for us. 7 weeks 2 days today according to my last period. I miscarried at 10 weeks 3 days both times before. Time is dragging Sad but I am trying to not stress or panic, my only symptoms are big tender boobs, lower back ache, cramping, slight queasiness over certain things (Pombears randomly!) and so, so tired.
TTC #1, 28 and so desperate for a baby! EDD 11/11/17
I hope I'll be on this board for a long time x

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 27/03/2017 16:03

@PingusMistress and @Mummyosborne1983, I'm also in Cheshire. Hello!

I've started taking mint oil to try and stop my constant burping. It hasn't worked. I've also got flakey skin, horribly brittle nails and terrible bloating. I feel so unattractive today!

Booking appointment is two weeks away and DH has blocked out his diary so he can come too. Is there any point though?

DuRezidal · 27/03/2017 18:01

So last night for one wipe only (I'm sure I could make a song) I had bright pink on the tissue. Then absolutely nothing after that, non today and just the usual niggling cramps.

One thing that has changed is I suddenly had very slight nausea. I don't feel actually sick, what I feel is the same as when I am absolutely starving hungry that I feel sick. But I've recently had a snack so shouldn't feel like this. Also a bit light headed.

CC81 · 28/03/2017 00:25

I'm on the border of Cheshire and Manchester :)

CC81 · 28/03/2017 00:28

PS - We have a secret Facebook group too. Quiet so far as we're all still being cautious, but there's a good number of us.

If anyone new wants to join, just PM me with the email address you use to log into FB. x

Hazandduck · 28/03/2017 07:18

DuRezidal I know it sounds silly and I don't mean it to patronise or anything, but could that sick feeling be nerves at the pink you saw? Hope you're ok, it's a shock to see! But so many women spot and bleed in pregnancy it's really common x

Hazandduck · 28/03/2017 07:20

PS I feel that hungry type sick (kind of hollow) too, first thing in the morning and usually in the afternoon at 5 ish when I'm nearing the end of work! And I eat constantly lol.

JulyLady7 · 28/03/2017 07:35

Hi Hazandduck, welcome! I know exactly how you feel as I had 2 mc last year as well. It's a complete head wreck. But this board has been really lovely and I hope we're all on board for the long haul!

Hazandduck · 28/03/2017 08:01

Thank you JulyLady! I'm so nervous, groping my boobs constantly like a mad woman. We can hold hands through this scary stage 💗

AnyFarrahFowler · 28/03/2017 08:31

Morning everyone! Hope everyone is well and not feeling too nauseous this morning.
Got my first midwife appointment today. I'm quite excited, even though I've done it before and I know it'll just be paperwork- still, its a milestone.
I'm so bloated I look about 6 months gone already...

Rufus200 · 28/03/2017 11:51

OMG what a difference getting some sleep has made to how I feel today. Feel 100x better, just managed to take DS for a little walk on his trike up and down the road. Completely exhausted now and a bit dizzy but nausea is much lower level then last few days.
I left the window open all night in the bedroom, DH had the duvet up round his ears all night he was so cold 😂

Hazandduck · 28/03/2017 12:08

Any how many weeks are you? I'm really hesitant to make any sort of medical appointments because I had my booking in last time and miscarried days later :( I kind of want to ignore it's actually happening! I just remember my pregnancy lack lying on the side taunting me afterwards.
Rufus glad you are feeling better today :) xx

Hazandduck · 28/03/2017 12:09

*pregnancy pack! Not lack 🙄

JulyLady7 · 28/03/2017 12:24

I'm the same Hazandduck, not making any appointments until after my scan next week. If all is well then I've got past previous mc and will start to relax a bit. X

Hazandduck · 28/03/2017 12:42

I may well do the same as you july! Book a private scan and see from there. God I just don't know I keep changing my mind about what to do! I wish someone could just knock me out and I wake up in the second trimester! X

AnyFarrahFowler · 28/03/2017 16:06

I'm 7+3. It's normally 8 weeks for your first midwife appointment (here anyway) but I'm away for a fortnight once I get to 8 weeks and I didn't want to go at 10 weeks and then that impact on getting booked in for my 12 week scan on time.
It was all paperwork as expected, plus a blood test and a urine test.
I walked into her room and memories of the last time I was in there, having my sweep at 40 weeks, came flooding back!

Hazandduck · 28/03/2017 16:08

Oh wow I'm 7+3 too! (Well according to my LMP) is that how you measure it?! Due 11th of Nov from the calculators any way :) Glad booking in went ok. I had mine at 10 weeks before but I guess it depends where you are x

Mummyagainmaybe · 28/03/2017 17:06

Hello all, congrats and good luck. Been on the late November group but thought I'd say hello here. Particularly as unsure of due date.

I'm in Essex BTW.

AnyFarrahFowler · 28/03/2017 19:25

Same due date Hazeandduck! Due 11th Nov, my Mum's birthday! She's chuffed to bits.

Welcome Mummyagainmaybe and congrats!

PingusMistress · 28/03/2017 21:47

I just hit a new low and stole a sick bag from the plane seat pocket, to keep in my handbag for emergencies. The shame Blush

MaryThorne · 28/03/2017 22:13

I'm feeling really bloated and uncomfortable and I've had dreadful constipation which I think is improving now I've got some Lactulose which the midwife recommended. I want to feel like eating healthy food but nothing really appeals and I can't be bothered to cook if I can avoid it. I managed to have a cheese omelette for breakfast this morning but it really didn't sit right. Ah, the joys of early pregnancy Wink

DuRezidal · 29/03/2017 10:00

The scan showed a good sized embryo with a strong heartbeat... so relieved.

Like my previous pregnancy there was a small bleed site so that explains where the spotting has come from.

WasWebb81 · 29/03/2017 10:11

Great news DuRezidal, you must be so relieved!

Sorry to bring down but I've been lurking a bit as all very surreal but hoping for some thoughts. I'm about 8 weeks and only symptoms really have been painful boobs and bit dizzy but over last few days this has been disappearing. Yesterday had a few brown wipes but nothing since but this morning woke up and boobs barely sore at all and just feel 'normal'. Is it just a case of wait and see? My booking in apt is due Monday so haven't seen anyone but have had two previous MC, first one missed at 10 weeks and found at scan. I'm just convinced it's happening again. Really hate this bit.
