Hi......anyone out there just found out they're expecting? Thought it might be nice to start a little thread!
I've tested this morning and got a feint BFP, have recently had 2 m/c so may be being optimistic but I'm tired of worrying!! If it works out it works out!! Fingers crossed. If it's a sticky one I'm due bonfire night! 5/11/17.
Anyone else out there the same??Smile

I think if you have had any risky symptoms like bleeding etc, or previous losses, then you get offered nhs early scan but if like me you have no bleeding spotting or bad cramps but are just absolutely paranoid and stressed, you can just google private medical centres and book and pay for your own.xx

boringbetty · 18/03/2017 20:31

Think there is something wrong here had cramps all day and started bleeding lightly now . If the same tomorrow gunna have to ring midwives

DuRezidal · 18/03/2017 20:33

boringbetty · 18/03/2017 20:34

MrsB12345 · 18/03/2017 20:36

DuRezidal · 18/03/2017 20:46

Some women have bleeding at 4 weeks, 8 weeks and then 12 weeks...

booox · 18/03/2017 20:53

I didn't know that. Almost like a mild period?

booox · 18/03/2017 20:54

I do hope all is ok boring. I have know women spot throughout pregnancy.

PingusMistress · 18/03/2017 21:01

DuRezidal · 19/03/2017 08:43

Hopefully all we be ok tomorrow at the scan.

How is the bleeding now?

booox · 19/03/2017 09:17

Fingers crossed for you betty. There may still be a chance all is ok.

inkybunny · 19/03/2017 11:42

Keeping everything crossed for you betty.

I have horrendous heartburn this morning. My own fault for thinking I felt hungry enough to eat a whole slice of toast in one go, clearly!

boringbetty · 19/03/2017 12:21

The bleeding has eased off a bit but still there and another clot earlier . I hope so too . Thank you

DuRezidal · 19/03/2017 13:11

I haven't had time to think about symptoms this morning as took my advanced horse out competing. We've come home with two red rosettes and prize money so a good morning at the office.

inkybunny · 19/03/2017 16:41

Congratulations DuRezidal!

I nearly threw up in the middle of Tesco today. Possibly my most pregnant moment so far - I only went in to get some more pregnancy vitamins, but ended up coming out with grapes, apples, ready salted crisps, and potatoes, because baked potatoes sounded amazing. Now I'm home, none of those things sound at all edible!

HoneyWheeler · 19/03/2017 17:13

Congrats @DuRezidal!
I feel like I've gone 'pregnant' all of a sudden too. Could barely keep my eyes open today and now feel ravenous. Can't. Stop. Eating.

We were at my SIL this weekend and it was so hard not to spill the beans - she asked if we were still trying and I had to actually do some white lies as opposed to just avoiding the issue, which I don't feel great about 😕 I know they've been trying for ages and she recently had an ectopic, so while I know she'd be thrilled to hear the news I want to wait until I'm out of the danger zone before I tell her.

Sammie12 · 19/03/2017 20:07

Hey all hope u are all well. I am struggling today as I have a real aversion to meat 😣 and a complete lose of appertite

chocoraisin · 19/03/2017 20:32

Betty I'm sorry for your loss :(

I'm feeling like a big fat tearful mess today. DP and I have far less than ideal circumstances which look like he will not be living with me before baby arrives. I know it's not the worst thing in the world, many people have more to contend with, but I just couldn't stop crying this afternoon.

It all feels a bit shit and overwhelming. I have 2DC and DP has 2DC already. It's not a forever thing, but jobs and existing DC must be taken into account - we can't move house to be in a place big enough for us all without my income... and that means not til post mat-leave. Assuming everything gets that far (feeling sad for everyone who has had sad news on this thread so far).

Anyway I'm sure that hormones are making me 100% less resilient. But even still, I can't tell folk in real life yet and it's just making me feel down tonight :( feel like we'll be judged when we do share the news. It's pretty obvious we didn't plan it this way.

Is anyone else having mixed feelings? Feel guilty about not being 100% thrilled right now.

DuRezidal · 19/03/2017 20:52

Good luck with the scan @boringbetty ... I am awaiting a second scan in 10 days. It seems like forever away.

boringbetty · 20/03/2017 06:45

Thank you will let you know how it went . Have a feeling it will be my last post on this board .
Good luck to everybody else

cnew · 20/03/2017 07:10

Best of luck boringbetty!
