Hi......anyone out there just found out they're expecting? Thought it might be nice to start a little thread!
I've tested this morning and got a feint BFP, have recently had 2 m/c so may be being optimistic but I'm tired of worrying!! If it works out it works out!! Fingers crossed. If it's a sticky one I'm due bonfire night! 5/11/17.
Anyone else out there the same??Smile

Oh July I'm so sorry! Thinking of you! Flowers

PingusMistress · 14/03/2017 17:45

Violet these on and off symptoms are driving me nuts too! Yesterday I was so worried as I didn't really feel sick, but my boobs still hurt. Today, boobs are okay but I have felt like barfing all day. Sometimes they all disappear and I'm a nervous wreck! It doesn't help that my symptoms all disappeared a few days before I found out about my previous MMC.

DuRezidal · 14/03/2017 18:14

I have never heard of a few things on here so I'm not sure whether it is informative or terrifying.

HoneyWheeler · 14/03/2017 18:57

Oh July I'm so sorry to hear that!

Foggymist · 14/03/2017 20:16

So sorry to hear that July Flowers

DuRezidal · 14/03/2017 20:31

So sorry to hear your news @JulyLady7, but there is still hope from reading other people's experiences

booox · 15/03/2017 06:51

I woke up early with a deep feeling this pregnancy isn't going to last. I've been feeling that on an off since I was pregnant. I did a test and the line seems fainter. It's a different pack of ics, but I'd tested yesterday and the day before with them - it compares as fainter. The only other thing could be that the urine looks very weak (I'd had a wee at 4:30 am). But gut tells me so strongly different. Don't know why I'm sharing here. And have to go to work today. Gah!

booox · 15/03/2017 07:08

I think talking about it helps me out it into perspective. Don't like hidden gut feelings based on nothing!

Probably a reason not to test anymore eh?!

DuRezidal · 15/03/2017 07:35

I have my early scan this morning... absolutely bricking it!!!

JulyLady7 · 15/03/2017 07:50

Thanks for your well wishes everyone.

Stay positive Violet, believe me, I know what it's like to feel like it's all going wrong and step away from the tests! Chances are more than likely all is well with your bean, so don't give up hope just yet.

Good luck duRezidal, do let us know how you get on.

I'm off work today. Waiting to hear back from consultant. Got a bit of back ache, but I know that unless the worst happens, I've just got to sit tight until next Tuesday.

DuRezidal · 15/03/2017 08:45

Just had the scan... apparently all looking ok for just under 5 weeks. There is a small yolk sack and a good sized gestational sack.

I have to come back for a repeat scan in 2 weeks to see the heartbeat hopefully.

JulyLady7 · 15/03/2017 08:51

That's great news duRezidal, hopefully you can relax for the next couple of weeks!

DuRezidal · 15/03/2017 08:52

Yes I think so... apparently that's all they would expect to see at this stage and it's in the right place etc.

Foggymist · 15/03/2017 08:55

DuRezidal amazing to have the peace of mind of a scan so early!

katemeister · 15/03/2017 10:35

So sorry to hear of people's losses already. I'm 5+3 EDD 11th Nov, a week after DD turns 4. Sore boobs, headaches and I am nervously waiting for the hideous nausea and sickness to kick in at week 6 like last time! The not telling is doing my head in so thought I would join in here.

pixietheginger · 15/03/2017 13:31

Hi, can I join? 5+1 today, our first, EDD 14th Nov. Absolutely terrified as had MC last Christmas at 8wks, so planning to have a private scan in a couple of weeks. No symptoms other than feeling I have boobs for the first time in my life!

CC81 · 15/03/2017 13:45

If anyone new here would also like to join our secret Facebook group, please PM me with the email address you use to log in to FB.

It's secret, so no one outside it can see members or posts.

It's not very active yet as we're all being cautious, but no harm joining if you think it might be useful further down the line Smile

NoCatsHere · 15/03/2017 14:16

Hello can I join please? I'm due in November but not sure when as I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks and now have fallen pregnant before having my first period. Clear blue diggie said 2-3 weeks so I recon I much be 4-5 weeks perhaps? Was such a shock, didn't even really mean to get pregnant before first period!! Will call midwife I think next week and see what they say! This will be my 3rd dc....hopefully!

Brummiegirl15 · 15/03/2017 17:41

Had my scan today at the EPU, saw a heartbeat and bang on dates at 6+4
Had my clexane prescription so on the ouchy tummy injections for the foreseeable

Got follow up scan on 31/3 and have booked my panorama test for 3 April

So one hurdle crossed

theotherendofthesockportal · 15/03/2017 17:48

@CC81 I would love to join the Facebook group but will once I've past the 12 week scan.

PingusMistress · 15/03/2017 18:36

You may have seen this already, but I found this MN article on foods to avoid in pregnancy quite helpful, as it gives some of the why as well as the what.

PingusMistress · 15/03/2017 18:37

Sorry for the crap link! I don't know how to do it on my phone!

SeahorseBlue · 15/03/2017 21:41

Lovely news brummiegirl! (I am also from Birmingham). I've got a private scan booked for Tuesday 28th March when I'll be 8 weeks, feeling nervous already! Are you paying for the panorama test if you don't mind me asking?

MrsB12345 · 16/03/2017 07:20

Welcome to the group @NoCatsHere fingers crossed for this one for you x

MrsB12345 · 16/03/2017 07:21
