Hi......anyone out there just found out they're expecting? Thought it might be nice to start a little thread!
I've tested this morning and got a feint BFP, have recently had 2 m/c so may be being optimistic but I'm tired of worrying!! If it works out it works out!! Fingers crossed. If it's a sticky one I'm due bonfire night! 5/11/17.
Anyone else out there the same??Smile

Morning all Smile
Had literally no pregnancy signs over the last week - no insomnia, tiredness, hunger, no nausea, no achy boobs etc I'm now 5+4 and have been terrified that there's no sticky bean. Found my last unused test this morning and, well, it couldn't have come up positive any quicker if it tried, so my mind is a little settled now. It looks like this pregnancy will be very different to my others, is it wrong to be jealous of those who are nauseous?!
PingusMistress you're right - the TWW is nothing compared this wait, its a level of patience that I'm digging deep to find!!

AnyFarrahFowler · 07/03/2017 08:55

Countess I did the same, peed on a stick and saw the darkest line appear almost immediately! It was such a strong line I almost entertained the idea of twins...almost! Grin Glad you're feeling so well.

Its funny isn't it, in a sense you don't want to wish the time away, but on the other hand you're so eager to get to that 12 week scan! If my dates are correct, I should be having it around the first week in May, anyone else?

FluttershyStare · 07/03/2017 09:06

I'm 6 weeks today and have got both nausea and weird dreams on the go

(Sex dream with Darryl from the walking dead; he was a masterful lover if anyone's interested Blush)

I've also made my booking in appointment for the 21st where I'll be 8 weeks

I'm wondering if it's quite busy in my area too. Going by the October thread here, there's a lot of baby making on the go at the minute!

JulyLady7 · 07/03/2017 09:18

I'm 5 + 5 today and only nausea when I brush my teeth, really worried it means something is wrong. Anyone else currently not nauseous?

Phephenson · 07/03/2017 09:31

I've only got very slight underlying nausea at the moment which goes if I eat something. The fuzzy headache though is annoying and dizziness if I stand too quickly.
I ran out of tests yesterday and need to get some more. It's crazy to keep testing but it's keeping me semi-sane.
I'll have an early scan with Ivf clinic to check it's not ectopic at around 7 weeks. Hoping Friday 24th and that they don't make me wait until the Monday Shock

GreedyDuck · 07/03/2017 12:43

I wouldn't worry JulyLady, it's still pretty early for full blown morning sickness, from what I hear it doesn't usually kick in until 6/7 weeks. I actually didn't have any at all with my dd, so it's not a dead cert for everyone.

JulyLady7 · 07/03/2017 13:49

Thanks GreedyDuck, that's helped calm me! My mum never had it with any of her pregnancies so doesn't get my concern! Wish I could have the naivete of pregnancy. Well, I've got my first scan on Friday (having them weekly due to 2 previous losses), so hopefully all looks good then!

inkybunny · 07/03/2017 14:13

I've been almost a bit jealous of the ladies feeling sick too! But my boobs feel like they might explode so that's something!

MrsB12345 · 07/03/2017 15:06

@julylady7 apparently morning sickness is hereditary so if your mum didn't get it you may not either. My mum didn't and nor did my sister. I've not really had any sickness as such. Have felt off but not sick.

I do have a question though?? The last two days at exactly 11am I've had the most horrific cramp / pain / twinges for 20 mins and then it stops and disappears. No bleeding. Anyone have any ideas? Tried googling and can't find anything on it.x

MrsB12345 · 07/03/2017 15:08

Oh and I've now run out of tests so bought some more. I can't stop testing every now and again because i can't believe this is real 🙈

Is anyone exercising???

I'm 4+5 and my instructor has assured me I'm safe to do my circuits class tonight but I'm cramping (which I have been since before I tested bfp!) and I'm just feeling a bit fragile lol. I'm not incredibly fit and tend to stop when it gets too hard for me anyway lol he's got a degree in pre-natal fitness and I trust him totally, just worried about tummy area, really don't want to dislodge anything if you know what I mean 😳

MrsB12345 · 07/03/2017 15:21

@mistybxx I play golf and am ok at the moment although not sure what it will be like with a bump x

cnew · 07/03/2017 15:22

I have no symptoms....not even particularly tired at the moment. Can't remember when the sickness started last time...think it was 5/6 weeks. I think I'll do another test at the weekend.

Lolly34h · 07/03/2017 16:01

My edd is 9/11 so really early days this is baby #3 but first one with my partner x

cnew · 07/03/2017 16:10

I'm the 9th as well! Smile

Lolly34h · 07/03/2017 16:22

It's so exciting but so nerve racking also. My youngest child is 12 so a bug gap x

booox · 07/03/2017 16:26

I'm peeing in sticks daily!

But I'm worried it won't stick mainly as I've had to go to gp and (again) battle with them to agree to raise my thyroxine from now. Two visits in two days, two nice guideline print outs. Finally agreed!

I'd probably still test but it feels in a way wrong to be acting so pregnant when I'm only 4+3. Funnily enough I don't feel as pregnant - mild nausea eland insomnia and feeling very hot has calmed, very hungry still. Boobs settled a bit too. Which makes me worry!

I don't remember having much sickness till beyond 6 weeks though last time. Egg tasted funny again yesterday and gave me horrible wind which I mistook for period pains cue more testing. But lines still getting darker on ics.

I wish I didn't have to do all the medical stuff in a way as then it will be tough to turn round and say it's a chemical, which is still possible I guess. But necessary!

booox · 07/03/2017 16:32

*on

MrsB12345 · 07/03/2017 16:47

My name is MrsB12345 and I'm addicted to weeing on sticks 🙈

These are in order of taking them (the digital ones batter has run out) and I'm not even going to pretend I don't think there will be more because there will be as I've bought them 🙈 #justchecking #doublechecking

Misty - I am. Felt exactly the same as you about 'dislodging' but had a word with myself and went, felt so good after, just take it steady. That said I haven't had sex with DH since the BFP as irrationally scared of that??!

DuRezidal · 07/03/2017 17:22

I kept tearing up to 5 weeks with my previous pregnancy. I've only done 3 so far this time (including a CB Digi). I'm going to buy another digi as the one I have taken has rightly stated 1-2 weeks so I think I will feel more settled once it goes up to 2-3 so thinking of testing some time next week.

DuRezidal · 07/03/2017 17:24

@MistyBxx I am a professional dressage rider so exercise is my job. Today I have ridden 5 (having had a week off skiing everyday) so I am definitely still doing exercise.

I am also going to the gym 3-4 times a week as normal.

irishlass1234 · 07/03/2017 17:31

May I please join? On Monday I got a faint line, and tested with another and I got another line. Clearblue says 1-2 weeks. I have been trying for 5 months, super excited!
Think I'm probable due early/mid Nov.

MedicineHat · 07/03/2017 18:49

Trying not to pee on too many sticks here! CB digital today still says 2-3 weeks which I guess is ok for 5 weeks. Would rather have seen 3+ though!!

Got referral for 8wk scan today, which is normal here. Don't know when it will be though.

Only exercise going on is running around with 2 year old who is very highly spirited right now!
