Hi......anyone out there just found out they're expecting? Thought it might be nice to start a little thread!
I've tested this morning and got a feint BFP, have recently had 2 m/c so may be being optimistic but I'm tired of worrying!! If it works out it works out!! Fingers crossed. If it's a sticky one I'm due bonfire night! 5/11/17.
Anyone else out there the same??Smile

Oh porgey hang in there, if no bleeding it could well just be par for the course, it could even be trapped wind which sounds silly but is horrendous and I remember it so well from DS1, it really can be debilitating and is a common symptom, so awful as it is I hope that's all it is x

DuRezidal · 06/03/2017 03:45

I found out yesterday!

In due around 15 November.

inkybunny · 06/03/2017 06:00

5 weeks this morning and I woke up feeling so nauseous. Also, I think I need to go and buy some new bras tonight.

Porgey1 · 06/03/2017 07:47

Morning all - still have bad back ache and started bleeding this morning. POAS and it came back negative so looks like this was a chemical for me this time round.

Best of luck to all you lovely ladies xx

PingusMistress · 06/03/2017 07:58

Hi all, can I hop on the bus and join you?

EDD 29 October by LMP but I ovulated late so I estimate it is more like 2 November. I'm 40 and I have a DD who is nearly 3. I had a MMC at 10 weeks before her, so I'm really scared of that happening again.

I recognise a few names from the conception boards and it is also nice to see a few older mummies on here too!

So sorry to hear your news porgy Sad

chocoraisin · 06/03/2017 08:41

So sorry to hear that Porgey. Sending you lots of love and luck for next time.

I just got into work and the smell of floor polish is literally making me retch :( I don't know how long I'll be able to keep the nausea under wraps. I'm not actually being sick yet, thank god. But we have a 3 day rule at work - if you barf you're not allowed in until the third day after, so I'm going to have to let someone know how I know it's definitely not a tummy bug if I do :( Feels a bit stressful today.

inky I'm busting out of my bras already too. I think I must have spent over £100 replacing them as I grew last time - stupidly got rid of them all because I thought I was done at 2DC! Doh.

Toomanydogs · 06/03/2017 09:06

Sorry to hear Porgey Sad.

WasWebb81 · 06/03/2017 09:33

Tentatively joining...

BFP on Friday morning, total shocker as no symptoms and my cycle irregular anyway. Sore-ish boobs now and bit crampy but that's it. Not getting excited as been trying for over 2 years and in that time last one lost at 5 weeks and one MMC at 10 (discovered at scan). Really hoping for strong symptoms, weird as that sounds! EDD according to NHS is 9 Nov.

V sorry to hear that Porgey, is really shit. Be kind to yourself as regardless of how early it is, it's gutting.

MrsC2017 · 06/03/2017 09:49

So sorry porgey 😔

Phephenson · 06/03/2017 09:54

So sorry Porgey xx

Oddsocksforeveryone · 06/03/2017 10:05

So sorry Porgey :( Flowers

My phone midwife appointment that I booked last Monday was supposed to be at 9:30am, no call yet. I called the surgery and they said she's running late. I know it's stupid to be upset about it, the early days I just get so nervous I just want to get booked in, I know that doesn't make a difference I just, I dunno. Hope everyone is ok today

Rufus200 · 06/03/2017 11:01

Sorry porgey

I've got my private scan tomorrow at 6wks. I'm petrified now! Is there going to be anything there? Are there multiples? OMG what if all 3 follicles grew and there are triplets 😱
These two weeks have dragged so slowly!

cnew · 06/03/2017 11:17

Very sorry porgy. Take care of yourself.

MistyBxx · 06/03/2017 12:23

Hi girlies,
So sorry to hear your news Porgey, I don't know much about chemical pg, all I know is that even a bfp doesn't mean it's a certainty and that's incredibly worrying. Best of luck to you chick.

I'm 4+4 today and phoned midwife but they said phone back in 2 weeks time which has scared me coz it goes to show how fragile everything is at this stage if even the midwife won't see me til I'm 6 weeks plus 🙈

Drinking lots of water, trying to eat healthy and not stress too much is my plan for now. Still getting strong pinching almost stitch-like cramps down below, they feel different to af cramps but all I can do is hope for the best and take each day as it comes.

Hope everyone is ok xx

Oddsocksforeveryone · 06/03/2017 13:44

Midwife finally called. It's rediculously busy round here, she said that she's going to have to fit me in at a children's centre next week which means going to get my bloods done at asda this week because there's no blood facilities at the children's centre. The next possible appointment was in April! Although I think I'm only 5 weeks she's registering me with my lmp which puts me at 9 wks because she said it's better to have a scan and find out you're early than find out you're too late for anomaly scans.

MaryThorne · 06/03/2017 16:37

Sorry to hear your news Porgey.
I've got my appointment with the midwife on 27th March when I'll be nearly 8 weeks. Starting to feel noticeably tired now, walking to and from the station and up and down stairs at work and I've got cramp type feelings all around my abdomen that I've had for a few days now. It's not painful I'm just aware of it most of the time. It turns out it was 4 years ago today I had 12 week scan for DS so it was lovely to have that pop up in my memories and look forward to the scan this time around.

AnyFarrahFowler · 06/03/2017 18:25

Hi Misty waves congratulations! Great to see you on here!

The pains I was getting in my abdomen have faded a lot today. At first I was pleased - now I'm worrying! The things we drive ourselves mad with!!

Sorry Porgey - best of luck to you for next month.

AnyFarrahFowler · 06/03/2017 18:26

Don't know what happened there, I just wanted to imply I was waving at you Misty, not highlight the word! But hey, at least I know how to highlight people now! Grin

inkybunny · 06/03/2017 18:33

I'm so sorry, Porgey.

I've got my doctor's appointment on Thursday - I guess I'll find out about the midwife then! I didn't really know what to do when I got my bfp, so I just called the GP.

I was planning to get some bras tonight (mostly for sleeping in - Mothercare do some that look very soft!) but was so tired and hungry I just needed to come home instead. I've eaten a whole pizza to myself and am now just sitting feeling a bit sick. I don't think that's the baby, though, I think it's just that I've eaten so much!

MrsB12345 · 06/03/2017 19:03

Evening everyone. I've got my midwife app on 3rd April and scan on 27th April. They can't come quick enough. Have had terrible cramps today. Eased off a lot this afternoon though. Did another preg test yesterday too. I don't know about anyone else but am I only the one that won't feel settled until the first scan? Am tempted to pay for a private one before just to check it's in there 🙈

MrsB12345 · 06/03/2017 19:04

Really sorry to hear that @porgey xx

MistyBxx · 06/03/2017 20:22

I knew what you meant anyfarrah don't worry 😂
Yeah I've still got pains but I notice it mostly when I'm sat at my desk in work. When I'm home or out and about, I don't feel so much. Spoke to midwife on phone this morning and she said not to worry about it. But this eve I'm getting a sore lower back... doesn't feel like af, but just a bit painful. Also been to the gym tonight and spoke to my trainer, I was hoping to get out of circuits tomorrow lol but he's insistent I needn't stop exercising, he has a degree in pre-natal fitness so I trust him. I'm more tired than normal though so I've just told him to let me slack a bit lol.
Midwife told me to ring back to make an appt in a fortnight. I cannot wait for that. I did another test this morning, still a nice strong bfp but I honestly never realised how long you're in the woods for 😳 I just thought bfp=baby! Just like I thought having unprotected sex was all it took to conceive 😂😂😂 I'm certainly learning a lot!
I don't think I will feel properly relaxed until scan times. Although my friend who's a mum said to me "you'll never feel relaxed again. You'll worry first up until they're out your belly and in your arms, then you'll worth every day for the rest of your life!"

DuRezidal · 06/03/2017 20:31

I have booked a midwife appointment for 2 weeks time when I will be 6 weeks. I am still spotting a little but I am pretty sure this happened with my previous pregnancy and I ended up getting an early scan as a result.

I got myself in a mini meltdown tonight because stupidly did another test (Asda's Own) this evening and it was positive but much lighter. Rather than be sensible and think a) I had done it in the evening and b) it's sensitivity is different to the FRER I had a mini meltdown and convinced myself that I was having a chemical.

I then looked up the chemical and scared myself to death. I didn't do any of this with my previous pregnancy so no idea why I am this time!

Early November EDD
Phephenson · 06/03/2017 21:47

@Rufus I'm desperate to know if this is multiples or not, I had 2 frozen embryos transferred Shock
Feeling mildly nauseous and tired, but mostly impatient for scans or some sort of confirmation that this is really happening!
@DuRezidal I don't think I really knew what a chemical was until I came on here - I too have scared myself stupid. Still testing every morning

PingusMistress · 06/03/2017 22:26

Glad I'm not the only one still peeing on sticks in desperate need of reassurance! I used my last CB digi today and it said 3+ as I'd hoped. But now that is it, tests can't really get much darker so just the loooong knicker-checking wait until the scan. And I thought the TWW dragged on forever...

DuRez that ASDA test looks like the ICs I have, they always gave much fainter lines for me than branded tests so I don't think you should be too worried.
