Haven't posted in a while been crazy busy!

I was in London Friday and Saturday and had to try and explain to the people I was with why I couldn't do the drop rides at the London dungeons and why I couldn't drink, that was difficult!!

Being constantly exhausted is doing my head in haha. Usually I have so much motivation but now I have none at all. Working is such a struggle.

I'm a bloater as well! I feel huge and like I am constantly passing wind! What a joy haha.
Still slightly concerned as haven't had a scan yet. The waiting game to see if all is okay is awful. DP doesnt get it less him, I guess because it's not his body he doesn't worry about things going wrong!

So sorry zookeeper, get lots of rest and hope you have lots of support around you.

babycarmen I am over the moon for you - congratulations! Did they say what caused the bleeding?

Sorry for those off with nausea, how crappy. I will join those of you on the bloated train! I'm so bloated I can't even wear 2 pairs of my jeans already and that makes me even more depressed to think I may never actually get to the stage where I'm actually growing out of them because of a bump!

Told my boss at work today and she was surprisingly pleased for me (unexpected as work in a catholic school and myself and DP aren't married!) so that's made me feel much better and to know I have her support.

Good luck to those with scans and those feeling rubbish that you begin to feel better.

After such a rough day yesterday I've had a good day so far, not been sick!!! Enjoyed the taste of food!! Cannot exaggerate how effing good that feels. Got a metallic taste in my mouth now and feel exhausted after doing very light housework but I will take that over projectile bile any day.

Had my scan this morning. Sadly neither twin has a heartbeat so started treatment to bring on miscarriage.

I'm working from home today. Originally I was "just" inhabiting the nausea camp but as of the weekend I'm now being sick first thing every morning, joy! My MiL and SiL said that I should be happy as this means something is definitely happening, although to be honest I wasn't worried by my lack of pregnancy symptoms before this kicked in so that's still preferable to me! 😂 Trying to focus on work and not be drawn into an afternoon nap... fingers crossed! 8+6 today Xx

I've managed to persuade OH to go for an early private scan. It's this Thursday evening. Feeling a mixture of excitement & total worry

Babycarman that's good news!

I had my scan this afternoon. I thought at the most I was 9 weeks, although midwife thought I could be 12 weeks when she saw me last week. I'm 6 + 4 and saw a tiny little heartbeat fluttering away. They said they could see a bleed on the scan but that it was outside the sack and most likely implantation bleeding that might be reabsorbed whatever that means as I've had no bleeding so far, and if I have a little bleeding thats most like what it's from. But all in all looking good and nothing to worry about. So if nothing goes wrong I'm heading back to the mainland for a 12 week scan on the 11th of April.

Tiny salmon the dr said she wasn't going to give me a due date as it might change but working it out from 6w + 4 I'm giving myself a due date of the 19th of October

lovechild fluctuating sickness symptoms really don't worry me and I don't think you should worry at all, just be glad when you have a good day. I have a couple of good days per week at the moment.... Then I always stupidly think I'm over it. Oh how silly and forever hopeful I am! 😂 My mum cried when I told her I was pregnant because she genuinely believed I wouldn't put myself through it again because I was so sick last time. But here I am, stupidlyoptimisticly thinking it will be easier this time even with a toddler in tow...

missmouse that's brilliant, sorry you aren't magically further on (I think that would be amazing!) but at least you can have all the right tests and scans at the right times.

9+3 today, first MW appt tomorrow, double appt for booking in and bloods.

Really sorry for all those with losses 😢.

I'm still waiting to hear from the midwife yet, so no idea if things are ok or not. Plus with going away next week, it'll be at least the 13th March before I see anyone.

Feels like an eternity.

Moomin just glad that there's a little heartbeat in there and I'm not almost half way through this time! hoping to enjoy my early pregnancy this time round - although feeling sick as a dog and still got a ferry to get home Good luck for your appointment tomorrow.

Gracefully bowing out as scan this morning showed an empty sac so if I haven't m/c'd naturally this week I'm booked in for a D&C next Monday.
