Thought I would get there 1st!!!

Zooming in - almost finished housework and feeling less stressed out - poor DH, he came home to a very wound-up mummy when he got home for lunch - after almost driving into a wall on my way back from dropping him off at work (!!!!) and doing lots of cleaning and hoovering, I must say I am feeling better! Still got lots to do though .....

Zoom, Zoom, Zoom ........

ARGH - Can't remember anything anyone said, apart from MrsGV getting the wrong end of the stick ..... LOL!

Hope everyone else is ok!!

WO what a horrid morning for you ! glad your all cosy now.
Char glad to hear your feeling better now.
Katy yes I should be around more now as things have gotten back to some normality.

The raspberry leaf I think they say to take from 36 weeks.I didnt take it last time but will be this time around.

On the perinium massage the midwife said to me that baby oil is good to use.

Cant remember much else now! typical brains like a slushy this morning !!

Bramshott · 27/02/2007 13:12

We should be clean, sensible and non-contentious I suppose!!

How about:

EllieKwithaHUGEbump · 27/02/2007 13:14

the march girls don't start a new thread til they reach 1000 posts

maveta · 27/02/2007 13:24

Morning girls! Still trying to catch up - again! - where are you all when I´m bored at work??!

Quick question - I have some stuffed aubergines here to heat up - I think they´re filled with mince and vegetables. What heat and for how long?? HELP!

EllieKwithaHUGEbump · 27/02/2007 13:31

no idea hun, sorry!

geordiemacminx · 27/02/2007 13:37

assuming you are ovening I would say about 180 degrees for about half an hour... perhaps 40 minutes but keep checking, make sure the mince is hot by sticking a pointy knife in the middle, when you pull it out it should be hot..

maveta · 27/02/2007 13:38

Dammit. Nevermind, sure they´ll be fine.

WO - what a pain re. the nappies! I´ve just bought nappies off two different MNers and am worried now! Shouldn´t the person who posted be the one to chase Royal Mail?

geordiemacminx · 27/02/2007 13:38

oooh just a thought - I was presuming that by heat up you meant re-heat, so that the mince is already cooked - if not then lots longer...

maveta · 27/02/2007 13:42

GMM - yeah it´s already cooked so just reheating.. put it in at 150 for about 30mins and now just grilling on high to finish off.. feel hot inside so should be fine..

Thanks!

geordiemacminx · 27/02/2007 13:44

Agin.. I mine field of rubbish!!! if the mince is already cooked then its fine - I regulary enjoy cold shepards pie!!!

CaptainDippy · 27/02/2007 13:44

Hello - Internet up and running at work - hurrah! Just had a "funny turn" - felt all sick and dizzy ...... not nice. Glad it seems to have pretty much passed now .....

Yes, should definitely have a new thread now, although we're getting Broadband at home tomorow (hurrah - about bloomin' time!!) so should be much quicker from now on....

I ain't touching my perinium either SOL - with you on that one! I tored badly the first time and not at all the second, so I am taking my chances this time - Thinking as it is my third I should be "nice and stretchy" by now!!

CD - you've done the small child and newborn thing before, would i be mad to go on holiday?

weeonion · 27/02/2007 13:51

ellie - as long as you are gonna charge for him to others- i am sue there is a business idea in there!

EllieKwithaHUGEbump · 27/02/2007 14:00

i think he should be paying them for the privilege!

runnyhabbit · 27/02/2007 14:10

Afternoon all

charnbump - glad everything has calmed down for you, but ow at lo lying on a nerve

Think my boss has had a personality transplant he's been really nice to me this week, thanking me for each job I've done, making more cups of tea for me etc. Dh thinks that that he's actually realised just how much I do, reliable I am etc..Personally, I think his wife (who I get on well with) has given him a boot up the bum. Can't believe I've only got 3 mornings left before ML - thats 12 hours

Weather here is absolutley terrible, and ds is got full on lurgy - snot everywhere, cough, a bit of a rash on his bits, and his ezcema has flared up on his cheek - could his back teeth be coming through (he's nearly 22mths)

Got to catch up on the mound of laundry that seems to accumulated. How did it get there

CaptainDippy · 27/02/2007 14:10

Mmmmmm, I would say - no, it's probably the best time to go on holiday cos newborn babies are really not that difficult -they are v.portable and sleep a lot etc; but your bubba would be very, very young - I would probably wait til they were two / three months, as opposed to a month - so you have had a chance to recover a little and work out what sort of baby the new one is, if that makes any sense!!? They might be a little pickle, in which case, your holiday would potentially be very, very stressful - I would personally recommend booking something in August sort of time. Does that help at all?

EllieKwithaHUGEbump · 27/02/2007 14:13

yeah, still gotta find out if stephen can get time off anyway, and be brave enough to tell matthew's dad we're taking him away for a week!

weeonion · 27/02/2007 14:14

ellie - well now - if he is offering to pay for perineal privelge- book me in for a stretching session with stephen!
