Thought I would get there 1st!!!

Zooming in - almost finished housework and feeling less stressed out - poor DH, he came home to a very wound-up mummy when he got home for lunch - after almost driving into a wall on my way back from dropping him off at work (!!!!) and doing lots of cleaning and hoovering, I must say I am feeling better! Still got lots to do though .....

Zoom, Zoom, Zoom ........

ARGH - Can't remember anything anyone said, apart from MrsGV getting the wrong end of the stick ..... LOL!

Hope everyone else is ok!!

Trust me I am not organised at all, seems I can't do my nesting thing properly in this house I have to spend my time organinsing other things.

1becomes3 · 26/02/2007 11:16

just done a quick head count on the buddies list, we have an odd number!!!!!
Oh it's just thrown me off completely.
I am going to wait until someone else joins up.
Any ideas where our stats thread has gone with all the dates had a quick look but can't find it.

1becomes3 · 26/02/2007 11:17

D'oh I got it now.

geordiemacminx · 26/02/2007 11:24

I dont mind doing 2 peoples? Would be easy if you paired me and weeonion up - as we already have each others mobiles?

weeonion · 26/02/2007 11:26

good idea gmm - and we are a bit far apart date wise!

1becomes3 · 26/02/2007 11:29

Sorry GMM no requesting people!

We will just have to see how it works out.
I have a system, I need this so it takes my mind off all the cleaning I should be doing but have to leave for the cleaner tomorrow.

CaptainDippy · 26/02/2007 11:33

It'll be fine - It's a fab idea!

weeonion · 26/02/2007 11:40

1B3 - lol! i see a different side to you now! wanna come and help me sort out some work systems before my maternity leave!!!

Smole · 26/02/2007 11:41

Crisis not over. I saw there was an odd number and added myself!

mammyjo · 26/02/2007 11:48

Morning everyone! Another crap night of sleep here. Kept waking up with horrible heartburn giving me acid pain right up in the back of my throat. Bought some of the chewy rennies but they are foul and leave a gritty texture behind on my teeth - eeugghhh! I suppose I would be better off going back to the minty sperm! Just cant stomach it right now!

GMM, welcome home! Glad you had a good time in Barcelona. Very of your holiday. Could so do with a holiday but am not going to get one in the near future thats for sure.

7wks, good on you having no stretch marks. I had three or four small ones right at the base of my tummy with ds. This time I have got two tiny ones that have appeared right above my now inside out belly button. Not a place I was expecting to see them but not too bad if thats all I get!

35 weeks now but just cant imagine the baby growing for another five weeks. It feels massive in there already and I really dont know how my skin is going to stretch much more!

Have a good day everyone. Sun is shining here which makes for a better mood!!

CaptainDippy · 26/02/2007 11:52

Sorry about crap sleep MammyJo - Not long to go for you though!!

Hope Buddies Thread crisis is sorted soon - Preg Brains don't cope well with this sort of thing, do they??

Best go and start making lunch ....

I'm happy to be a buddy if you have an odd number - hadn't added myself because my sister will probably post for me if I can't get to the computer as that's what I did when she had her section.

Haven't a clue re weight - don't own a set of scales. Feel similar to last time and i think I put on around 2 stones overall then.

Lovely sunny day, just been to the park with dd. Felt a bit down at the weekend and suddenly a bit panicky about giving birth but better again today. Blooming hormones. Mmk - there was a thread on pregnancy recently along the lines of "is it normal to want to kill your DH when you're pregnant" so I don't think you're alone. DH started calling me "Grumpy and BUmpy" last time & I can't blame him, I spent most of the thrid trimester moaning!

Glad you had a good trip, GMM!

twinkle183 · 26/02/2007 12:20

Hi girls!!!

Sorry I haven't been on lately just been so busy with getting things ready for the baby and trying to cope with working and sorting ds out with pre-school!!

Its my birthday today and I am currently on my lunch break and just had this rather large bunch of flowers delivered to my desk from my dh!! How cool is that - I just burst into tears...

Last week at work yeah ... finish on Friday!!!

Oh got 6 wks to go but the bump seems to have dropped already and the head is down - am off to the midwife on wednesday for my 34wks check!!!

Hope everyone is well...

Take care

Hi, can I join the club?

I am expecting my first baby April 11th...

Hello all, want to know how fat I am?

weeonion · 26/02/2007 12:28

hey hellcat - welcome to you!

1becomes3 · 26/02/2007 12:32

I think it should all work out not sure if WCL wanted to be added she posted on the thread but didn't add her details.

Remember even if someone else can post for you, unfortunatly some people are in the same boat as me and don't really have anyone to post for them, so we are all helping eachother out.

Hope that sound the way it is supposed tonot to cheesy or patronising.
I don't want people to feel pressured into giving out their details.

1becomes3 · 26/02/2007 12:33

Happy birthday twinkle Hope you have agreat day.

Hellcat · 26/02/2007 12:35

Hey there wee onion, are you wee as in small or as in wee wee?

geordiemacminx · 26/02/2007 12:41

You have to tell us about you hellcat as we have missed your first 7 months.... roughly things like:

whereabouts you are, how old you are, whether you have any other children, nipple size (ok that was a thread a long time ago you really dont need to tell us that)..actually you dont really need to tell us any of this stuff.. just helps when we organise meetups and such like!!

Hellcat · 26/02/2007 12:43

Happy Birthday Twinkle!!!

I am at 34 wk check on Wednesday too, and head has been down for ages - bump has always been low...

Kicking now reaching my ribs: ow.

How nice to get flowers at work from dh - I leave on Weds lunchtime HURRAY

Have been hating job for 12 months - would've left ages ago if not for student husband to support and then pregnancy...

haven't had flowers from my dh since he did something truly awful before we were married (like 5 years ago) flowers went straight in bin!

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 26/02/2007 12:46

Afternoon all, and welcome back GMM.

Hope everyone is well.

Mammyjo, I think the minty sperm might be the only way forward. Seems to be the only thing that works for me.

Maveta, I remember you mentioning the rib pain before. Do you have it all the time, or does it come and go?

Emmymummy, how are you and your pains?

Birdie, how is DS2 doing with his dry nights? We have had 5 nights in a row now which I am so delighted about.

I had a better nights sleep night - probably due to being back in own bed. Still stuffed up with a cold, and the rib pain today is awful - cannot get comfortable at all!

Anyway, sorry this is brief, but am at work, and things are manic. Has been quiet for months and then in the run up to mat leave it has gone mad!

See you later lovies. xx

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 26/02/2007 12:48

x posted with loads of you there. Welcome Hellcat and hi Twinkle - lovely to see you and hope you have a lovely birthday hun. xx

Hellcat · 26/02/2007 12:57

All about me:

How joyed I am to be writing this at my desk at work, they have worked me like a dog for 18 months and now it is nearly all over

I am 34 and live in Tideswell, Derbyshire (between Sheffield and Manchester) which is great cos its 3 minutes from my Mum, but all my old pals are in London and I've been working too hard to make any new ones [self-pity]

This is my first baby (spose dh doesn't count?)

I have had no pregnancy wierdness, I have gained 13 kgs (sorry lived in Spain from 02 to 05 so scales are in euro - think its like 2 - 2.5 stone) mostly on my bottom and thighs, but am very pleased to look normal (if a bit fatter) from the back!

I am hoping to get away without buying any maternity clothes (they just look awful, and those stupid elasticated trousers) I have this fab wrap dress which a friend gave me and I wear that for smart, and tracksuit bottoms and stuff the rest of the time

My nipples are normal too (missed that one)

And the only cravings I have had - well fags, booze, triple espresso, runny eggs, blue cheese, cured meats - all that yummy stuff you're not supposed to eat.

I wanted my baby at home (cos the hospital is quite far and a nightmare to park and I don't want my baby taking off me and want to sleep in my own bed and have easy access to nice food) but I have to go to Jessops in Sheffield cos I have a heart murmur.

I am resigned to this as its a good hossie, and I wan't sure about saying hi! to the neighbours after screaming the street down, not to mention the swearing and also possible damage risk to carpets...

Birdiebump · 26/02/2007 12:58

Hi SOSPL - Same here - I think it's been about 5 in a row. I'm just thinking - what if we get it all sorted out, the LO comes along and poor DS2 regresses??!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TWINKLE.

WELCOME HELLCAT.
