Hi to everyone just joining! I'm newish too

Well as of today I'm the owner of a freshly turned 4 year old ...& my madness will show for a month as it means I have a 1, 4, 5 & 6yo in the house.

I'm still planning on just revealing the bump after/during Easter & letting folks make of it what they will. The only people that know (aside from dh) are my dad, my best friend & a school mum. I had some nasty reactions (from certain family members) with our 4th & can't trust myself not to react back currently.

Hi all!

I disappeared for the last few months - I was driving myself nuts with worrying, anxiety and all sorts so I stepped away from the internet until I'd had my 12 week scan which was earlier this week.

All is well and official due date is 26th August. Scan was interesting; involved half emptying my bladder half way through - stopping mid-pee was quite difficult! And had to go for a walk around to get baby to move position. It was so strange to see it moving and wiggling around, but not be able to feel anything.

Glad to see everyone else is getting on ok

I had my 16w mw appt and got to hear the heartbeat which was lovely wasn't expecting to and made it worth DH going to it.

Hi all newbies! Anyone considering a 'gender scan'?

I might wait a week til I'm 17 weeks along. Worth a punt?

I'm way too impatient to wait as my next scan isn't until 22 weeks and I am rubbish with surprises!

Hi MrsG, I'm 7 August.

I have my 2nd midwife appointment next Thurs, which I'm excited about. And my bump has suddenly made itself known in the past three days. It was struggling to get my pyjamas into a comfy position that made me realise exactly how much I've expanded!

NorthernLuce I've stopped wearing my pj bottoms in bed as they end up below my hips & all skewed. I refuse to buy maternity nightwear & I'm too tight to buy bigger pjs for a matter of months too

Hi all!
Just had my first scan :)
EDD is now 15th August, and I am measuring 14 weeks so too big for nuchal tests!
We were also able to find out the gender and it is a boy (I had convinced myself it was a girl so that was a little bit of a shock!)
All is looking good otherwise, I am back for tests in a couple of weeks.
So exciting!

Hi MrsG, EDD 2nd August for me.

Had 16 week mw appt today - all good with blood tests etc & lovely to hear little ninja baby's heartbeat. We're not going to find out if it's a boy or girl - looking forward to a nice surprise :) had triple test today, so fingers crossed we don't hear anything for a while!

Glad to see lots of good news of scans and heart beats. I'm also impatient to find out the gender but DH said we should just wait until the 20 week scan...so difficult cos I want to pick a name! X

23rd August for me. Had dating scan today and my bladder was so full she made me empty it before continuing! I had a private scan two weeks ago and it's amazing how much the baby has grown.

Official due date 5th August- snap Yolky!
